The old supersix was more classic and one of the last frames to have classic geometry. Now it looks like every other dropped seatstays bike out theyre, only the colourways differ. Thats just my opinion.

Exactly, what tom said might trigger a lot of people if this vid goes viral or something. Just saying since I'm not a fan of both lol

Same reason I bought a 2018 s6 hi mod. At a crazy discount too since it had been sitting on the rack for over a year🤷🏽‍♂️

As someone who doesn’t own either older or newer gen super six, the new one looks worlds better. The paint job is sleeker and looks more modern. The prior gen paint jobs makes them look like bikes from the 90’s.

slow to change gear compared to di2, especially the front derailleur... The 10t rear sprocket is stupid, like the sram dub bb ( opinion of lots of engineers ). Test rode it for a hour, get di2, way better and cheaper if you get the ultegra

  • @mikew9743

Di2 is awesome anyone who says otherwise prob havnt owned or tried for extensive period
    New supersix is OKAY
I tried one with carbon rim and mechanical ultegra, it felt mellow compared to other race bike i ve tried or owned. I would say the carbon layup isnt super racy and fairly hollow feeling, maybe comfort was taken into acc more.
I would take tcr/teamachine/tarmac over this
    Especially the new tcr
By the way new supersixs cable solution is aweful in my opinion

If Ultegra di2 is the best groupset he’s ever rided then he obviously hasn’t tried SRAM eTap AXS. Performs better, way more reliable, and a ton easier to maintain.

BS, I have both Di2 and both versions of the Etap. Di2 all the way, Sram tried too hard to make axs look like Shimano Durace 9000 anyways. Hydro shifters are gianormous.
