Yep, it would to be set up in an extremely specific way with the head as the last card he gets. Problem is, the odds of everything falling into place is so low that there is not a single seed with a frame of RNG that would allow this to occur. So it's actually impossible.

This run made me realize how hellish this game would be if the AI wasn't so defective in how it decides whether it should fuse. Imagine if in normal play the early villager fights would just decide to throw down a twin-headed on their first turn.
Absolutely, in fact I'm thinking of doing a challenge run with a mod that fixes everything the AI does wrong, making the game incredibly difficult. It'd probably be a fun video
Actually if you don’t duel the 3rd villager(the old man) before the tournament you won’t be able to duel him when you get back after the tournament as he says he’s retired from dueling and only collects cards if you talk to him.

Do you have a link to a page that has the complete AI data for each opponent? Tea Online has the decks, and I figured out which opponents have "aggressive" AI and "cautious" AI just through playing the game so much, but I want to know how much cards every opponent has in their hand. You just hear about the final four having 20 card hands but nothing about the hand size of everyone else. Also you gotta use the Nitemare 3D and Kaiba 3D battle themes, they're too good to not use and most people probably don't even know this exist.
Yeah, I should use those themes, you're right. The AI data I use is this: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1WC4q56hJ2mn9QbGW64Ih2RaMjP6U2zvf5G46hXV1CfY/edit#gid=0
Oddly, it technically isn't a typo. The card was released in Metal Raiders in North America in 2002. When the set reached English-Europe in July 2003, the name wasn't corrected. So, it is the official name of the monster unlike other cards in this game such as Doma the Angle of Silence or Spiked Snall.
Bro gotta say, to find a channel dedicated to Forbidden Memories (one of my favorite games ever), and through a video like this?? PERFECTION!! Loved it so so much, and the editing was on point!! Loved that I still managed to learn new things about the game too! I didnt know about the chance for them to not attack your face-down monsters, and the conditions for them to use Spell Cards. Is there any other cool resources for one to learn more about the game?? Love your content, and you just got a new sub!
Thanks! Glad you loved it. The people who speedrun this game have a ton of resources that don't just apply to speedrunning and is how I got to learn the intricacies of the game. I don't think I can paste an invite to their discord, but that's where I get most of my info and they are a great help to understanding AI behaviours.
Hehe "and forbidden memories came out in 1989" ah yes. A good year for Yu-Gi-Oh to be sure. I jest though. I look forward to your coming videos, you have a great editing style and the lil kuriboh who pops up with notes is very endearing.
I was wondering why some ppl were saying they hear 1989, then I realized the auto-translate is hearing 1989. But if you switch it to the transcript I uploaded, I have 1999. Anyway, glad you enjoy the editing and Kuriboh Helper
good vid, I'll give you some lore about Simon Muran in this game, though he can in theory summon exodia, because he always plays his strongest monster card against the player, whenever he draws the head he instantly plays it, this means he can only summon exodia if the head is the last card he draws. With that being said, members of the ygofm community have scouted every single possible seed for Simon duels and not once does he meet the possible conditions to summon exodia. I'm sure the developers intended for him to be able to very very rarely summon it, but it's actually entirely impossible!
Thanks for the insight! I've been looking for these tests that prove it's impossible with no luck, but ppl keep telling me so they're out there somewhere.
currently playing through the game and just trying to beat it lol and then i see this and im like "i gotta get my shit together" lol thanks for the video!~ im trying to get power ups to give old faithful and your video reminded me i should do Rex
Yeah, so the speedrunning community is a big help with getting all of the data for these videos. You can join their discord here: discord.gg/ygofm and their resources channel has a ton of stuff about the game.
I guess the reason why the exodia cutscene is unskippable, is because well, getting exodia is like SUPER RARE normally either from the opponent or from your side, it's supposed to be a special easter egg and all, the kind of thing you'd see once every full moon, not something you'd unironically use to grind for cards. Honestly, I don't even remember if it IS possible to obtain Exodia normally in the game, wasn't there like a couple of parts that were unobtainable? at least in the english version?
Thanks! I'm gonna have to branch out eventually, only so many videos I can make of Forbidden Memories... or is there? Maybe there's Infinite Forbidden Memories...
Hey there, I got your video recommended to me on the side videos, I usually don't see other videos and channels that I'm used to but I'm glad I did this time, awesome video, keep up the videos, love challenge videos too! If you like Magic I would love to see this kind of content too, MTGGoldfish does this but the same kind of content is irrelevant since each person and channel has their way of edits, jokes, ideas, etc, speaking of which I laughed so much with the Millenium Eye card you made lol Got a new fan and sub! :)

Also I meant "I usually 'don't' see videos from other channels..." xD I will be a regular be sure of that, would love to see a Reptile-Only challenge too and others, but I think some can't be done due to lack of monsters of these types, even nowadays there's so little reptiles, fish, etc, but if you love a hard challenge those will be the hardest I think, reptile and fish types only And please say you like Magic too, I would love any kind of challenge, be it on Arena, the defunct Duels of the Planeswalkers games, etc, anything like this would be awesome.

Another great run. I always learn something new when I watch your videos and as I play this game a lot, it’s valuable information. Can’t wait for the next run!
Thanks for sticking around!
28:25 "If he do nothing for Kaiba loosing to Exodia, I will be very disappointed."
You did not disappoint.
great video!! I cant over how insanly good this vid was cut and produced, great vibe overhall, the this took is crazy, repect!
Ngl I thought you had well over 500k subs with the quality of your script and video. I subscribed and I'm loving the content keep it up.
wow 500k subs would be awesome
"I hate it when people tell you not to do something you're already not doing" almost just as bad a someone telling you to do something that you're already doing. Like the dishes
The dishes reminds me of What We Do In The Shadows. Starting with a certain Deacon...
3:44 - i am SORRY but i always hear you saying “accidentally fuse nword #2” and i always crackout laugh
Amazing run, Fun Box! I like the editing showing your current cards and oppents strongest cards.
Thanks, I'm really glad you enjoyed the editing
I guess it's safe to assume you had a ''modified'' iso which grants you Exodia in the starter decks, very interesting!
I just GameSharked all the cards onto one memory card, then traded the 5 pieces and the rest of the starting deck over to a second memory card. The iso isn't modified in any way, it's the base game.
@@FunBox. Oh, ok! For a moment I thought it was a modified starter deck mod haha. I've played this game for years so I know it's impossible to get both legs of Exodia through normal means. In my case I have all pieces too, but I've used mods and more than 1 memory card, just like you did :)
Anyways, great work. This video was a work of Art!
@@infiniteworldlegacy Thanks!
@@infiniteworldlegacythanks for explaining this was wondering how he got exodia, I knew it was impossible as well
@@Practicalinvestments Yep. Either GameShark/CheatEngine or Mods
Hey, not wholely relevant to the video, but I took a look at your channel and noticed that all your old stuff is from like 12 years ago. I'm glad you came back and didn't give up. These last few videos have been legit bangers. I hope you keep it up. Between the good content as well as your chill voice and attitude, you have a lot of potential. I really look forward to what you do next.
Thanks for the encouragement! It means a lot reading comments like this!
This video was quite entertaining to watch, and i must respect you for the amount of editing behind it, not anybody can do it. You must have "forbidden" power, lol. Great work
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the editing!
By coincidence I found your videos and gotta say, this is hard dedication and highly entertaining! Thanks for this, keep up the good work!
I'm glad you found your way here!
God i love these videos, the editiong, narration and everything is really cool man, keep going with these!
Enjoyed every single minute of this one!!!! You put so much effort in and your videos are masterpieces always!! Cannot wait to see any future videos you have in store!
Thanks for the support and kind words! You're the best
Siempre quise jugar con algo diferente a THTD y tu video me sorprendió demasiado.
Congrats, bro, you're da real King of Games.
You could pick any category of cards and I'd watch your plays. You have an amazing amount of knowledge about the game
i rarely watch these kind of videos, but this was very entertaining. thanks for the hard work, and welcome back.
Thanks for giving it a chance, you're welcome, and it's good to be back!
Dude the level of effort you put in each one of these videos is insane, keep it up g
Thanks, will do!
What a good quality video, I can’t imagine the time spent playing and editing too. Earned a sub easy, looking forward to the next one
Ah! Exodia! That's not possible! No one has ever been able to summon him outside of Japan in this game!
I liked this video a lot.
Got a few laughs outta me.
And now i need to do this kinda playthrough.
That was insane my man!
Can't wait for the next one.
Glad you liked it so much!
"I get dumpster fire shit on..." is a phrase that I may be using if I decide to get back into Yu-Gi-Oh 🤣🤣
man, for an opponent to deck out before you could get exodia is nuts, but take it since what you are doing is decking yourself out, they just did it first somehow then lost because they forgot they never played exodia
I just watched all 3 of your yu-gi-oh fm videos, amazing work. I am sick right now and these videos really keep me sane. Your channel is a blessing. subbed and liked all 3. I don't comment a lot on videos but just know that a lot of people enjoy these without commenting. Love
Thanks so much for the love and the comment. Get well soon!
@@FunBox. Thank you so much ❤
I was not expecting Exodia to hip thrust a glowing ball before tossing out a Kamehameha...
The reason people call Bandit Kieth a card professor is because it's a reference to the spin-off manga Yu-Gi-Oh! R.
Oh man, these editing are so pleasing.
Feels like I'm on Valium.
@@FunBox. Exactly what I was looking for, thanks!

"Set 4 gave us Weather Report."
(You have summoned the Jojo fandom)
It's amazing how gamers like you have turned a cult classic like this into its own genre.
bro made a poll on what the challenge should be then ended up doing all 4 💀
Another great video king. You're criminally underrated and under subbed.
Thanks man! Hopefully I won't be criminally under rated and subbed for too much longer :D
Sorry but i have to point out that at 37:16, we have a ATK rule breaker. Other than that, great video, Exodia best win play XD
Aqua Madoor was left in attack but didn't actually attack, so it still fits in with the rule... I think
I love the multiple camera angles at the end of exodias animation 😂
Just had to make sure we were actually seing Exodia.
7:23 Nice catch on the Flame Cerebrus pronunciation lol, that card must have been a typo.
Oddly, it technically isn't a typo. The card was released in Metal Raiders in North America in 2002. When the set reached English-Europe in July 2003, the name wasn't corrected. So, it is the official name of the monster unlike other cards in this game such as Doma the Angle of Silence or Spiked Snall.
can you explain the disk swap glitch somtime? :) loved these videos just watched all of them!
@drywalltele9435 yeah, I suppose I could do that.
@@FunBox. Oh thank you so much, will deffo look into it bro
Hey great job on this run! I have a question, which was the fastest Exodia win you got during this whole run? Including free duel farming.
13:08 While grinding Villager 2, the 23rd win I got Exodia in 3 turns, using only 10 cards.
Thanks for watching!
Congrats mate, your videos are awesome. Eager to see the next one
Machines or plants would be awesome to see, or if you feel like being a complete masochist a fairy only run.
The next run is one of those
@@FunBox. if it's fairy good luck mate 🫡
The editing is crazy good for how long this took you. Keep it up!
Incredible video ❤️ do you have a link to the trivia that you made on screen, like the AI does this when...and the other tricks?
Love your recent videos! I would like to see more videos with a voice over like this for other games
If you like Magic I would love to see this kind of content too, MTGGoldfish does this but the same kind of content is irrelevant since each person and channel has their way of edits, jokes, ideas, etc, speaking of which I laughed so much with the Millenium Eye card you made lol
Got a new fan and sub! :)
Awesome! Glad you clicked and enjoyed! The Millennium Eye card is one of my favorite parts too
@@FunBox. lol that was awesome and caught me by surprise, love your sense of humor!
Also I meant "I usually 'don't' see videos from other channels..." xD
I will be a regular be sure of that, would love to see a Reptile-Only challenge too and others, but I think some can't be done due to lack of monsters of these types, even nowadays there's so little reptiles, fish, etc, but if you love a hard challenge those will be the hardest I think, reptile and fish types only
And please say you like Magic too, I would love any kind of challenge, be it on Arena, the defunct Duels of the Planeswalkers games, etc, anything like this would be awesome.
Would love to see how a similar deck holds up in duelest of roses. Either way keep up the good work
What cool video dude, this is the FM video I didn’t know I needed to see. Congrats cool content.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
This game is so great but is so counter intuitive. I mind farming the tournament seto trying to find a blue eyes. 160+ wins and I never got one as a child. Fought against the Meadow Mage once and got MBD. I will never forget that for the rest of my life. Still took years to beat the game but it was so good
Here's an idea:
Beat the game without direct attack. You can only damage your opponent by attacking their monsters when they're in attack mode.
I like it.
@@FunBox. exception can be made for free duels to lessen the pain and to S-Pow or A-Pow more easily
