Nail clippers of different types are actually really helpful and safe for quick and small and accurate cuts on plastics. “Knippers” too..

Love this upgrade kit! I'm surprised you got this, considering you usually dont go for upgrade kits, but I definitely think this one is good! Maybe not worth the asking price, but for a couple bucks less, I'd say it is. Keep up the good work!

I will personally wait on DNA designs kit, but this particular one is a major improvement from the official release 😂

I got mine a few days ago, I LOVE IT. Only weird thing is you have to get two if you want to have two of the same legs or arms, but to me that's not even a problem

@BotBenderOrinj oh yeah it's tempting, although keep in mind, the snarl arm may be kinda funky as the right arm because of how the mold is oriented
The QR code actually shows that the creator also made a sword and shield that are compatible with the hands, and the pics look really good

Mine arrived today! It’s weird that you were having problems with the hands not being 5mm cus mine work fine with other 5mm weapons and one of the beams for the feet was loose but a piece of paper helped tighten it. This set is sick
Yeah, seems I got a borked one. Most folks dont seem to have the issue.

Well, i'm gonna drill a 5mm hole at the side of Swoop arm so i can attach a shield (like ER Optimus Prime shield) there. Glad i still have sword of BPF Grimlock for him.

DNA designs just revealed their upgrade kit and it practically this just sharper and a pelvic cover, wonder witch one was designed first

The DNA has lots more individual accessories. That's the appeal for me atm.
Not a bad kit there, I think it's great for display only guys for sure, you've found a few ways of your own around the lack of feet and such, switching up limbs and all, so there are plenty of options for the dino sextuplets lol but still, a cool upgrade kit, matches quite well, I think swoop could be better but they did what they could, for a core class combiner I can't complain about much!!
Yeah, the more I look at it, the more I'm pleased. I'm gonna try pairing them with Crosscut when he arrives :)

Yup they use Kidult as a term in the toy industry. They’ve listed it as one of their biggest markets that they’ve been capitalizing on. The term is a little strange because it implies play is childish but eh whatevs.

I got two of of this kit and both copies hold onto weapons just fine minus just the molding on the hands.

I mean some of the molding on the hand gets in the way more then I’d like but both official and 3D printed weapons are a decent enough hold.
To tighten ball sockets, and 5 MM ports you can disassemble and apply a coat or two of clear nail polish or superglue (just make sure they are dry before reassembly)

Hey bot bender, I was wondering if you have any ideas of a build using only the limbs of the dino combiner. Like a situation of replacing scraphooks limbs with the dinobots

So how to make Scarr better. So I used Garila gel super glue . On the Grove of the top of his combiner shoulder joint. Put 1 to 2 small beads of glue on the spot. Work the joint for 3 mind to work it in. Then let sit for less then a min work the joint for 30,seconds and repeat it foe 10 times. I know it's a pain and scechy. But that's how I have been fixing lose hinges and ball joints for years now and it works. Ball joints after popping the ball joint add glue 2 small dabs and use Q tip. Work it all over the ball part and use use the same Q tip to put some in the socket. Let dry one hour try and put it back together if to tight sand down ball joint. Little at a time and try again till it fits. On the off chance it's still loose do the glue again. I do this on third party all the time. It takes some time and trials to get it right but wow when you do it's a game chaner. Hope some one find this helpful.

Skipped on the Core Class version of Volcanicus since I still have my POTP version. The upgrades make it look infinitely better, even with the nitpicks. That said, kidult works I guess. The 200+ figures I have kind of affirm that.. heh.
Yeah POTP Volc with aftermarket bits is plush. Kidult party 4 life! :D
I’m planning to get the JuQi Kit, but it does cost twice as much.
Still, the swords, posable finger, and the extra greebling won me over.

Wow dope. The arms and legs now look even bigger and beefy. I’m really loving these DK supports. Btw the DK-42 for Samurai Prowl is out. Now you can take your legacy universe prowl and finally evolve it to Samurai legacy universe Prowl like the one in the animated series.

Like you said in previous videos, adding a new ingredient (feet) makes building much more versatile. Those legs and arms can now easily be swapped out with weaponizer limbs, especially for the junkions
Yeah, really just a little extra spice can make it nice! I recently ordered Crosscut and am curious to see how it looks with the Dinobots w/ the kit :)

I like this kit alot. I use the Menasor sword that’s too small for Menasor but too big for motor master, it scales really well 🍻👍🏻

Instead of using paper if its way too loose i use blue tack but cool upgrade i like swoop being a thin arm makes me think hes a southpaw and swoop is just for quick jabs

I see. Yeah, I'm probably more cautious than the average Joe because we have relentless security training at work that admonish scanning random QR codes. The logic being that the destination site could be infected with malware.

Great idea. but the quality of the kit is so bad. They couldn't even sand it to remove the lines?
If the 3d printed lines bother you so much, DIY. Doesn't make the quality bad just because they didn't do that. Even then the lines aren't super noticeable
