I love listening to Johnny Cash and the Statlers! I recently discovered the 2nd generation of Statlers - Willson Fairchild. They did a tribute song to their dads.
I hate I missed the live with you, Kevin. I was on my way back from Christmas at Mama's with my family when you were having the live. Hopefully I can catch the next one. I enjoy listening to your show and look forward to it, especially the crazy country episodes.
I've always enjoyed the story about Conrad - I've heard it done by Johnny Cash and I believe Dolly Parton. This year is the first time I've heard Grandpa telling it.
Received 2 Home Free CDs for Christmas - one is there latest Christmas album - Any Kind of Christmas. If you like acapella, these are the guys to listen to (most of their music is Country).
Foxfur mentioned John Schneider. Tom Wopat also performed. Although, I believe both of these guys were actors first before getting into musci. Tricia Yearwood had a recurring role in JAG.
Chapel Hart is a newer group of laidies singng traditional country music. They did rebutal songs of Jolean and Fist City and were great. Check them out...

Just thought of a logo for your show... a line drawing of a round top jukebox wearing a cowboy hat and boots... lol

You can always watch the recording of the live episode. It goes online pretty soon after the episode ends.

Yep. If really still existed when I was born there!
Oops. Too late😢
I don't really care for the "new country". I was raised on Johnny, Loretta Lynn, Eddie Arnold, Statler Bros, Sons of the Pioneers, Lynn Anderson, etc.
