Interesting detail: on the scene that Melia appears, behind her there's a "clock" with both sides lighted. Other than that, whenever we see any of the factions and ppl other than the main group, it is always one side lighted and the other one dark. It also has both colors (yellow and blue). Huh.

It looks like there are a ton of combat mechanics and I won't lie, it's a little intimidating. But if it's as fun to make big numbers as it was in 2, I'm ready to learn what ever they have to throw at us.
Also seeing that all party members active at once is kinda crazy to think about.
The Fusion pair mech of Noah & Mio looks like Weltall.

My friend just showed me the trailer and aside from the mess that is the battle screen menu and all the stuff that's looking like it's gonna be on screen, this MAY be the one game in the series that I can said will be my favorite one. I mean they even gave us back the ability to pilot giant robots again so I am giving it a plus already.
One way to look at the fusion pairs is that they are a mix between XC1 and XC2 races. This may be part of how the system fits into the story.
They are cross world counterparts.
I remember playing xc2 first time thinking wtf is this and why is the voice acting sound weird for it to become one of my favorite series! Went and played xc1 remastered loved it

I know it took me three years to finish the second one the third one is probably going to be another 3 years maybe 4 or 5 you never know when there's a lot of games to play I don't even think I did the DLC either for the second game I did the main game you know with all the blades🙂🙂
If you can’t change partners when fusing then I guess we know who the canon couples are lol. A little sad about this, just a little.
I really wanna try this game but haven't played 1 or 2 nor really have time to play them right now. I'll probably just try to catch up on the major story beats and then play the golden country since that's a shorter experience before getting this game.
