Connector Kit for the 2021+ Bronco with Auxiliary Switches:
Our new harness system utilizes Weather Pack connectors for plug n play application and cross adaption to virtually any light, models or brand. On the ends that go to your Aux Switches, our harnesses have a single female Weather Pack connector installed. We include a matching male connector in our harnesses for that single connection, but not for all 6 of your switches.
This connector kit gives you male connectors for all 6 powered wires which will connect to any of our harnesses directly. You then have 3 pass through wire connections at the fire wall near your 6 powered wires which go to the passenger floor board. So you have 3 female connectors in this kit for those 3 wires.
Then in that floor board area, 2 of your pass through wires terminate there and 1 terminates at the front grille. You have 3 male connectors for those connections.
Last, in the same floor board area, you have 2 more wires that go to other areas. These would plug into the 2 pass through wires in that same area that came from your fire wall. One of those wires goes to the rear quarter panel and one to roof line above the windshield. So you have 2 female connectors to go there. Then 1 more for the windshield area behind the visor if you need it.
With all of these installed, your Bronco (With Aux Switches) can then plug into any of our harnesses. You can arrange and re-arrange connections to the pass through wire connections as you desire any time by plugging two together, or if you don't have one of our harnesses and you simply want to put a female connector on something you've put together, you can purchase extra single connectors in our store.

I absolutely love that someone else rigged up the wires the same way I did. Makes life so easy when rigging up new devices.

Much better explanation than some of the bigger channels and videos on the topic. Thanks

I use the last prewired location for my trailer wiring adapter kit. This kit required constant power, so I used this location and grounded, the kit on an existing location behind the panel. The alternative was to run a ground somewhere else, and run a long power wire externally under the vehicle into the engine compartment. I found the prewired locations to have very minimal amount of wire to work with, with the exception of the location behind the rear panel; in this last location you showed, there was more than enough wire to work with unlike in the under the glove box.

Thanks for the very informative video! My plan is to use the grille wire for front SS3 fogs and the right rear quarter panel wire for rear SS3 floods.

Your video jumped between the connector crimp to the black outer plastic w/o explaining that step. Should have shown it.

For the rear 1/4 panel wire: you do not need to remove the entire panel. Removing it will make the aux wire easier to get to. If I were to do it again, I would just run a new from the passenger kick panel.

I ran that aux lead to lights on my swing door, so I had to pull that panel anyway. 🙂

Here’s what I haven’t heard in any video about these switches, is if you want to turn on or off something that requires greater amperage, one can always use a relay. I have switch 6 hooked up to a 500 amp relay that will turn on and off power to my winch. As an example.

Great video. Question, though - under the glove compartment, why did Ford not just hardwire both wires coming from the firewall to the one going to the rear and the one going up to the visor it doesn’t make sense to me.

Its a great video, and a great product. Really explains it all. But I paid 70K for my bronco. Bad enough i have plastic fenders , they couldnt have run switchlegs through the whole vehicle????
