You forgot a very important aspect: it is one of the fastest under water mount. It has 700 base and receive a 100% bonus on taming so it is in fact 1400 plus all the levels you want to drop on it making it nearly faster than anything on the island and it is stamina free!!! It makes ninja underwater cave artifacts super easy and it is amphibious so you can de-aggro sitting on land. It is super agile with up-down lift like moves and with a saddle at 40 you can start harvesting oil nodes in water very early on... With high and far jumps and cementing paste factory it is the best mount on the Island by far... anyways, thanks Phlinger for all you nice vids.
@@KingOfTheRoost no. Frogs are nowhere near as fast as this guy is trying to say. They're by far one of the slower swimmers. If they can jump they can outrun it, but as far as swimming goes you would be better with a sarco.

My additional advice. If you have access to maps with a Beezlebufo in a cluster or single player they are a great tame to bring to Scorched Earth and will get you the most amount of cementing paste until you get a chemical bench. My strategy: Use and Argentavis and carry a Beezlebuffo to the dune desert on the outskirts of the map and look for the Jug Bugs and Tintanomyma. These are the only 2 bugs I found that you can for paste on the SE. Sadly you don't get paste for harvesting Dungbeetles. The reason why I choose the dunes and an Argent is for easy visibility. I also recommend that you Beezlebuffo has a minimum of 500% melee for this because you want to oneshot the Jugbugs because they will take off and fly away and it will get annoying following them hoping that they will land soon. Also you can harvest glowbugs on Aberration And a good strategy for the cementing paste cave if your frog is low level or you want some extra muscle. Just bring in a Megatherium and turn its harvesting off and then just clean up the corpses with the frog.
The glowbugs are hard to kill with beelzebufo because they fly all over the place but I suppose you can always just kill them yourself and have the beelzebufo harvest it
Before there were beaver dams... the struggle for cementing paste was real. A wolf/frog team could clean up, but there also were no kapros or leeches back then.

Ugh. I hate the swamp. It's easy enough with a half decent mount. Then, it's a given that a kapro will launch out of nowhere and drag me out of whistle range for my mount. I made a pen with stone window frame 3x2 with one doorframe for me to pass through to tame a tek stego near the swamp, after that i lured a beelzebufo, the pen was just one frame high and the bufo, even if with some jump it appear he can paass over, i cannot escape but while mounted after taming it he easily jump over one wall.
