Jordan, I wish I had known you were in the area - it would have been fun to meet you. George Peppard's mother was my mother's voice teacher, and George and my mom dated for a while when he was in the Navy and she was in high school. George was the first star I ever met. I was a child when my family attended Mrs. Peppard's funeral.

George Peppard was so handsome in Breakfast at Tiffany's. When he and Audrey Hepburn take their Halloween masks off, I keep expecting the film to melt.

Great childhood memories of the A-Team. The whole cast was amazing and they worked together well, even if there were difficulties in production. George Peppards voice is so smooth and baritone.

I was really was never a fan of George Peppard, I think I had seen him on a talkshow and was not amused. I do love the quality of a person who can realize they need to give an apology. Its so important. Sometimes it takes years to get/give, but it always matters! Thanks Jordan, good vlog!!! 🌼

He was likeable. Had an infectioness smile. Yes, it was easy to identify he was difficult. It showed.
I have learned throughout my life that people viewed as difficult had underlying unaddressed emotional /behavioral issues. Never the less, he was great at his craft.
    Thanks for sharing.

Great Vlog! My family and I watched the A Team, my dad enjoyed it and it's a great memory for me! He seemed to be such a diverse actor maybe successful what he did, because he was so brash-When they are on top* in the biz-they become the character-sad after series go off or they do things to sabotage their careers and sad that all the others that were the talent as well-had to endure. Sounds like he had a lot going on in his life-glad to hear that he apologized to Mr T. I am sure that helped his soul! to heal. Ty Jordan another great vlog!!

Hi Jordan, I thought he was great in 'Breakfast At Tiffany's', and I did used to watch 'The A-Team'. I knew he was difficult, but I don't think I could have worked on the show with all that going on, and not just from one actor. It just goes to prove that acting isn't all easy-going and lovely like some people think. Great vlog Jordan.

In early 1982 I did a USAF Honor Guard from Wurtsmith AFB Oscoda MI for a Command pilot killed in an aircraft accident. The service was at this cemetery. MAN! It was cold. They could not bury him until spring because the ground was too frozen. Anyways, I remember him best, besides the movie roles, as Banacek
. Thomas Banacek was a private insurance investigator for high-end claims and rewards in the early to mid-70s.

Another great vlog Jordan! I was a A-TEAM fan myself. I remember when it came on I was 11 years old at the time. I did hear things about how Mr. T. would have his christian music blairing in the dressing room. There was a fan from England who did a reunion and tried to track down The A-TEAM cast. He was definitely trying to track down and see Mr. T. Everyone from the cast showed up including Marla Heasley who played in the second season Tawnia Baker. She even mentioned that George Preppard intimidated her and Melinda Culea from what I understand. I guess George Preppard was trying to tell her that it was a guys show and they ran it. The reason why Amy was written out of the cast was due to her wanting to join in building with the guys and firing off weapons which George Preppard did not like. Marla Heasley showed up to the reunion and Robert Vaughn as well. It was pretty cool to see. George Preppards son showed up in his fathers place and they spoke about filming and everything. I remember the show started on a Sunday Night back in the day when they used to have TV movies on Sundays or during the week. The show also was on Tuesday nights at 7:00 and then moved to Saturday nights. My friends and I loved watching this show when we were kids. I watched it until they brought in Robert Vaughn and after that season it was canceled.

All 5 seasons are available free to watch right now on Peacock. I was thrown off in the first episodes when Face was different, it just didnt connect for me. I loved that show and George Peppard ! Finding out years later finding out what went on behind the camera is funny! With all the difficulties on the set we know the Editor did a great job!! lol It’s amazing how it all came together!
Didn’t he play on a movie called The Carpetbaggers? Seems like I remember seeing that movie and Ashley his first wife was on it, too. She was from Baton Rouge, LA. She had this deep throaty accent which you would know it was her in anything she appeared on … even if you were not watching the TV!
I always remember at the end him saying … I love it when a plan comes together! Well … when I pray for love ones or someone else or about something and later find out that Father God has answered it … I always say … I love it when a Prayer comes together! 🌈🙏🏻🙏🏻

THE A TEAM wasn't a favorite of mine but I watched it on occasion because I liked George Peppard. Mr. T was an "acting" oddity and he was very popular, but I wouldn't consider him the star of the show. I did watch every episode of BANACEK starring Peppard which aired from 1972-74. As for feature films, I think George's best work was in THE BLUE MAX and BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S. I recall seeing "Breakfast" at a southern California drive-in theater with my college boyfriend, in 1962.
During my working years at Universal Studios (mid-60s through the 70s), I'd see George going into the executive side of the commissary with Monique James, who was Universal's V.P. in charge of new talent and sort of took charge of George when he was in one of his moods. Many stories about his temperament made the gossip rounds. Studios are like small cities in that regard.
I don't remember the occasion, perhaps it was an end-of-season cast party for BANACEK or a holiday gathering, but I remember George walking into the non-executive side of the commissary which was a large room with individual tables that seated 4 people. He didn't make an "entrance." He merely walked around talking to people who were standing in groups, one of which included myself. He was quite charming but not very animated. He left the party early. Not so for the rest of us. We all sat around eating the free food. LOL!
