    Will the extra battery kick in if the other battery runs out of power?

    What I've found is that the low wattage is to low for the battery indicator to pick up and communications between the Inverter and the battery. The capacity is still being used by the battery. A test you can run is to leave the low wattage charge over a few days and then test the voltage of the EB3000 and the E2000LFP and you should see that it is the same, meaning that it is balancing. I think Pecron has a controller issue with all their batteries. Take a look at the vids I've posted - I'll do one of capacity draining too.

    I also have the E2000 was looking forward to expanding. Not so sure with all I'm seeing. So what happens when you run out of power with the main unit running low wattage? Does some how the expansion battery wake up. Way to many questions and no Pecron stepping up to the plate with clarifications gives me pause. Think I'll wait a while, to bad. One of my main reasons for buying was it's expandability.

      I have to say, I LOVE the Pecron E2000 and the EB3000 expandable battery. It's clear that the marketing team needs to develop a better manual but it works. It took me awhile to figure out how it works but it is actually pretty awesome. For under 55 cents per w/h, it's a deal that can't be beat. You can spend twice as much for the bells and whistles and that's fine but while it took a bit to figure out, I would not go back on my decision to go with Pecron. That's just my experience and opinion.

      From what I understand is that the external battery with the parallel connection with the main unit, discharges and charges at the same time and acts like "one battery". This is one, (of many), reasons that I stayed away from the Vtoman Jump 1000 unit where their external battery would discharge first, then the main unit's battery would then take over....

      I hear you BucksBe....I also wanted to expand and was excited about it. Unfortunately after 8 months I have now third unit in house and all USB ports stopped working so I would be looking at fourth. Unfortunately for me Pecron has thrown me under the bus and is playing circle jerk email games with me since May.... 4 months. Unlike yourself I do regret my decision to go with Pecron found out the hard way that no US support China direct is the only way. Comprehension issues become a very convenient tool when you ask to many questions. Have you given any thoughts on what you do if your unit should need service after 2 year warranty is over. I asked.....comprehension issues all of a sudden became the flavor of the day. If you got bunch of extra time on your hands this one is for you.👍

    Oh man pecron need to address these issues. Instead of someone else like yourself, shouldn't need to find a way to make these work. Their average buyer is not going to know and just return it.
    Pecron I'm sure you will be watching and reading this. I worked for dahua (i was the first American technical engineer hired by the company) if you don't hire American based tech support your road is going to be even longer of the American people trusting and buying your products. They will go with your already established competition. You might be an Amazon brand that just vanishes. Learn from companies like dahua and hikvision.

      I think you're right. Pecron should improve upon their manual but the bottom line is that the product works really, really well (once you figure it out) and it's so much cheaper than a Bluetti. It has a 24 month warranty and I've sent 20+ emails to Pecron customer support and it's answered quickly and my problems are always resolved. So far, I wouldn't change a thing. I'm loving my Pecron batteries!! (and the cost of them)

    Very interesting. Does it charge both of them at the same time?

    • @BucksBe
      @BucksBe  ปีที่แล้ว

      It does. You can hook up 1,2 or even 3 AC quick chargers and it has pass through charging. Very easy to quickly charge up these batteries 👍

      Hey Bob! No new updates on my end other than the fact that I love the units. It has worked exactly as described. Once I was able to get the EB3000 calibrated, it has worked perfectly. 10/10 would recommend to anyone, (and I have)... Thanks for all of your great work. You taught me a bunch

      Still really enjoy the Pecron. It saved us a few months ago from a 4 day power outage. Talk about perfect timing. Not using it as much this summer so I charged down to 60%, (as per manual) and every couple of months I take it out and give it a spin. Been very happy with the Pecron!
