    i like the cables on the E2000 dont change them. i have two reasons i like them is i set my units on a steel shelving unit with about 10 inches of separation between each part of my system. so there is 10 inches between E2000 and the first battery then 10 inches between battery 1 and battery 2. this gives better airflow around the units and if i want to move the batteries i dont have to pick up the E2000 first and then maybe the first battery to get to the second battery. so i think the cables are good.

      That is a fair opinion :)
      But...It would be nice to have more options (Right angle cables could help other people with their setup)
      It would save us about 10 inches of space under that table, so I think having the option of either right angle or strait cables would be a nice touch. and options are always good for the consumer :)

    I'm eager to see the Pecron update you mentioned for us E2000 lfp users during the live chat. I don't use it much as i mainly got it for blackouts so i will have it for a long time. I even set reminders to cycle the system monthly to keep the cells healthy. Any fix they give us firmware wise would be fantastic.

      Great idea to cycle the battery cells once of month :)
      NOW....The only problem with firmware updates on the e2000lfp is.....
      You would have to send the unit back to them since it does not have the app to be able to firmware upgrade ourselves, That is one HUGE upgrade with the e15000lfp system because of that. and it is like $100 bucks to ship on of these bad boys back to them.
      As far as the upgrade addition coming, We can not wait to be able to test & review that....YEAH BUDDY !!!!!
      (anything that makes the system better or more useful or whatever for any system, we are all for)

      Lame. If they can send you a new 120V board then I see no reason I can't be handy with a USB stick and a firmware file. Oh well, that feature is not worth $100 to me. I'll just use the voltage to determine actual charge.

      @RamblinBobReviews  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@nitrohedgehog I agree, That is why we opted to update it ourselves (but we were very scared to do this) and we do not know if it updates through the usb or whatever. so we were just happy that it worked out in the end. because we could have a 100% broken machine if i screwed something up by doing that myself.
      note: That firmware update did not fix that power meter problem just so you know, it was for the usb-c 100 watt fix. we are not sure if they even have a fix for that power meter thing yet or will have one.

    Great comparison review Bob. I been following your reviews for a couple of months, and you've been spot on with your analysis of the EB 2000 and EP1500. I recently purchased the E 600LFP, EB 2000, and the EP 1500 as well both their expandable batteries. Do you think I can charge the EB 3000 and the EP 3000 expansion batteries using the EB 2000 external charging bricks? Or could I possibly use the E 600LFP brick to charge the expansion batteries?

    • @RamblinBobReviews
      @RamblinBobReviews  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, we have tested charging the ep3000 & eb3000 with the charging bricks of both units (e600lfp & e2000lfp)
      note: just remember that if you do this with the EB3000, the power meter does take time to correct itself on the e2000lfp once it is full.
      note: The e1500lfp can correct the power meter on the fly, so you do not have to wait using the brick on the EP3000 to correct that power meter

    Hey bud, I have my system charging off shore power daily. The charger keeps the batteries/generator topped off which runs refrigerator and freezer. Is this set up cost effective?

    • @RamblinBobReviews
      @RamblinBobReviews  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That is what we do with the e2000lfp, we run a freezer and fridge 24-7-365 for FREE
      P.S. With a little help from the sun :)

    Can you take the AC voltage from LFP2000 and feed a victron 24v 3000 50a inverter? Noticed the neutral to ground is few ohms

    • @RamblinBobReviews
      @RamblinBobReviews  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We have no idea about that :(

      @@RamblinBobReviews reason why I'm trying this is my 5k window AC over loads my E2000 on high cool and thought I can use my victron to run ac and at night feed my 5k of storage to my 24v victron ac input .... The ground and neutral are bonded on victron so did a check on pecron and not the same so not sure if I need to buy bonding plug???? I'm clueless on AC.....

    could you use your 30 amp 13.2v port on your battery to charge a spare battery if you used a dc to dc charger ? step up the voltage to 48v on the battery to charge your 2000lfp system ?

    • @RamblinBobReviews
      @RamblinBobReviews  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That might work, as long as you use the safety fuse when using the step up device.

      My buddy has E2000LFP and bought EG4 5.1k 48v battery and victron CC 100/30 to charge the battery and then feeds that to one mppt input so at night he gets 550 watts for about 10 hrs of charging to run mini split during the day the 800watts feeds the battery and E2000 depending on state of charge it fills both at different level
