My favourite part of this is Whis' reaction, and fun fact, when he exclaims "oh I hoped for this!" it wasn't the original line. When I met Ian Sinclair at comic con a few years ago & told him that was my fave part, he said there was already some other line recorded there but when he came in the following day, asked if he could try something else and that's the line they went with.

Jiren not only beat the spirit bomb but was also the first person to actually win after his opponent reaches a new level (besides beerus). Freeza and cell both lost to that cliche’, and kid buu fought it to about a standstill but jiren powered up a bit and overpowered hi still. We have never in the history of dragon ball seen someone like Jiren (again besides beerus but its not really the same tbh) who completely is on another level than even goku’s new transformation
Actually jiren didnt beat his oppenent when he reached a new lvl ui sign just ran out
The 2 reasons he beat it was cos he wasn't pure evil like Frieza and Buu, he is actually a good guy and the other reason is that he was vastly more powerful than Goku.
It doesn't seem noticeable because it's dub but in the sub it's made obvious Goku is so strong he has an Oozaru screech

Aside from the story which never interested me in any way, I just can't get over how shockingly bad the animations and overall artistic quality of DBS are compared to DBZ or DBGT.
