Ima be real. I dont mind Piccolo's elimination. I personally think everyone overreacts about it. Piccolo got his moment and it was sorta meant to be funny. Piccolo focused TOO much with his energy sensing-if he just used his natural super hearing, he woulda been fine, but no one woulda predicted a mini fighter. Idk why it being small bothers people either, people act like Gohan wasnt 3 feet tall taking down 8 foot Nappa and 9 foot Cell. Overall yes this episode is on the lower tier, but again, I think everyone overreacts.

"Take care of your mother for me." I think Vegeta says this partially because it's what Goku said to Gohan right before he sacrificed himself years before. You see how Goku's sacrifice affected him after Gohan finishes Cell, commenting on how he died without fear. In this moment, he realizes he gets to make the same choice. And in a way he never expected, he finally finds equal footing with Kakarot. I think you guys also pointed out something tragically beautiful. Vegeta turned back to his darkest impulses (as a way to try to rediscover and find himself after feeling that he had lost his identity) only to ultimately make the choice to turn to good in the end. He had to walk through the darkness again in order to actually accept who he had become. And so he also finally sees his value as a father, and as a husband, and accepts the role as a saiyan protector of Earth in Goku's place.

Also as someone else said in the comments...yall have no idea how OP the OPM verse is, cities in the OPM world are around as big as countries. Boros being able to destroy the planet with his ultimate attack is insane and no he wasn't self destructing, just letting all his energy out. If you'd read the manga you'd know how much stronger a serious punch is, compared to his casual strikes, even then it depends on his mood and how much effort he's putting into it. And if you ever catch up you'll know now why Saitama beats Goku as well, even with his TUI form in the manga
