Same, haha!! This show was a Friday night staple for me growing up around 1999/2000/2001.... part of the 22 Minutes/Air Farce/Red Green lineup. Good times!
That opening is even more unsettling than Rick Mercer described: he failed to mention to stomach-churning colour palette and the horrible plodding piano.
Also, presuming that Rick's description of his episode is faulty. Jerry Boyle makes an appearance, but doesn't use his 'Mark an X catchphrase' (that's episode 2. Nor, seemingly, is he operating out of a garden shed.) Rick says Babe Bennet made her first appearance here: she clearly does not: that's episode 3/ Nothin criminal, just interesting.
Had to come here and check out that hilarious opening credit sequence after reading Mercer's memoire :)
me too:)
That’s why I’m here😆

Hahah same here
Me too!
I don't think we really appreciate our talent here to the degree they deserve. World class for sure.
22 minutes - my precious!
Funny, I had blocked the opening song from my memory, but watching this after reading 'Talking to Canadians' is surreal.
I swear humour. Stark, on point and perfect timing. Were born in the east coast. Wonderful peaple.
at 5:06 this is basically social media before social media
