- You probabily know I'm more a V10 guy in terms of "which is my favorite sounding F1 engine". But I must say this is the second time I'm able to hear the Ferrari 3.0 V12 mounted on the 1995 412 T2 F1 car and it's the second time I get goose bumps at every accelerations or fly by. It's a bit of a contradiction but this is my favorite sounding F1 car ever built. Enjoy it!

even the 250cc bikes from Honda, Yamaha, and Suzuki sounded good not to mention the supercars McLaren F1, Ferrari F50 & F355, Lamborghini Diablo, Corvette ZR1, Lotus Esprit V8, and the JDM sports cars, euro hot hatches and performance sedans all sounded so good.

Amaizing how popular these sound videos are... we have to live in the past to really enjoy F1.
The modern F1 is all about saving tyres, saving fuel, pressing a button for DRS to pass, saving power in the battery, shit can V6 sound, low RPMs, Not burning out the turbos, I can go on and on...
I’m just glad I grew up in an era where V12 and V10 were the standard and got to witness many of these races in person. That sound vibration will change your life forever. Its a symphony!
F1 has saved tires and fuel since the 60s, and the cars don't need the driver's help to save power.
Low rpms are not mandatory, the teams just decided it is better.

But it would be nice to go back to an era where Williams/McLaren and then Schumacher dominated everything and there was just as much if not less overtaking done outside of the pitlane, props for you for having a bit of hearing loss due to the high pitched noise, but that´s about it.

It's funny to see that nobody is at the circuit itself, but more than half a million have seen this video. These events need to be promoted much more. I would actually travel from The Netherlands to Italy just to see these cars drive on the Legendary Circuit Imola.

It's so sad that the pretty much the only place to hear 'real' F1 sounds nowadays are these rare track days and TH-cam videos.
Modern F1 cars have twice the aero but only HALF the cylinders!

I agree, I went to the Monaco Historique Grand Prix in 2018 and the sounds were unbelievable. So loud you actually felt the sounds pulsating through your body. I watched a modern F1 race there the year before and the sounds were disappointing. You didn't even really need ear defenders.

I saw this car race once, at Montreal, where Alesi won. Still my favorite GP car. These videos sound great, but to hear these things in person was incredible. Just brutally loud. I was staying at McGill University about 3 miles away from the track, and the morning practice was so loud that it woke me up. No need for an alarm clock. Modern F1 needs a big dose of the style and sound of these cars!
Eargasm! Was lucky enough to see this car win in 95 with Alesi in Canada. One of the highlights of my life so far.
And 1995 Interlagos Gp, lake’s turn. Alesi and Ferrari gave me gosebumps every lap

I remember being trackside at Monza in ‘95 all weekend and being deafened by the V12’s.
Without doubt the most terrifying screaming noise ever produced and the main reason I haven’t followed F1 in about 20 odd years.
The sound when they let off the throttle was like a fireworks factory going up.
Wonderful and great memories.
I consider myself lucky to have experienced Ferrari V12 sound live in F1 Monza GP 1994. The Italian fans went crazy when the first Ferrari came down the straight and so did we. An experience I will never forget.
I remember when MS tested this car in autumn 1995 and was way quicker than Berger and Alesi. The last of an extinct species. The last F1 V12. Incredible Sound.
Please bring these back.

I've been watching F1 for more than 35 years and this is still the best sounding car I've ever heard. And I'm sad to say that with the use of hybrids and turbos, nothing will ever sound this good again.
Turbo is not that bad (the v6 turbo from the mclaren mp4/4 sounds really good) but yeah hybrid cars sound really bad

Saw it a couple years ago on the Paul Ricard, it really is something special. A video can't do justice to the sheer loudness of the sound that comes out of it, but the pitch comes through perfectly here!

La 412 T2 per l'epoca raggiungeva un numero di giri impressionante soprattutto essendo un V12 e il suono che produce è impressionante. Questi video per gli appassionati sono delle sedute di terapia musicale, ascolti a massimo volume ti vengono i brividi e sei felice. Queste emozioni i V6 non le daranno mai, li ho sentiti dal vivo ma non c'è paragone neanche contro un video che non rende giustizia a quanto siano veramente rumorose queste auto. Quest'anno vado al Minardi Day e non vedo l'ora di sentirle con ogni singolo osso del mio corpo.

19Bozzy92 Fortunately I never took the V12s for granted and I absorbed everything about them. I can still hear the scream of the 412 at Silverstone with both Alesi and Berger at the wheel; you could hear them before seeing them as they entered the old start/finish straight at Copse corner, and as they raced passed there heading towards Maggots etc was something to behold. It was the same at Monza sitting across from the pits... If only I could invent the time machine...🙄

This was the epitome of F1. Downhill ever since.
I will never forget the sound and smell of these beautiful machines. They sounded so different we knew they were coming before we could see them.

V12 sound rules every time, the 91 McLaren and 92 Dallara sounded amazing also and they where V12 as where the Superleague Formula cars but this Ferrari sound is on another level to anything before or since it!

when someone asks me what is f1, the '95 Ferrari comes imediately to mind. the sight and sound of it... that's the essence of f1 in its entirety. Beautiful machine and perhaps my most fav ever f1 car.

V12s, The proper sound of F1 as well as the V10s. I was never a fan of the 2006 to 2013 v8 sounds and the farty v6 turbo hybrid sound.

90s F1: The sound I grew up with. It is the sound of Michael Schumacher and Damon Hill going wheel to wheel at 200mph down the main straight in a game of of ultra-chicken. It’s the sound of Murray Walker’s screaming getting ever higher in pitch at some unravelling drama until he is at the point of explosion and the by then co-commentator James Hunt having to calm him down with a baritone “actually it’s Prost in second, not Senna” or some such correction, whilst taking another mouthful of brandy. It’s the sound of giant Gitanes cigarettes and Moet et Chandon Champagne ads all over the race tracks. It’s the sound of Nigel Mansell’s moustache.
