    For those that want to shoot real estate video in 4K 60p, I can definitely recommend the Canon EF-S 10-18 STM on an MC-21 adapteras it is inexpensive and sharp (enough) for 4K. The one very good advantage is that the EF-S 10-18 STM has lens-stabilization and you can set the S5 to let the Canon lens use the three axis of lens stabilization, while the other two axis are stabilized by the S5 IBIS. This helps avoid the dreaded corner warping. If you instead are fine with 4K 30fps, I recommend the Canon EF 16-35 f/4 L IS, as again, the lens stabilization of the Canon lens helps to avoid corner warping, while the Panasonic Lumix 16-35 f/4 lens doesn't have any lens stabilization. I know some people say to turn off ALL camera / lens stabilization when on a gimbal, but I have found that you can get even smoother footage when using lens + body stabilization on a gimbal.

      Sigma 18-35 f1.8?

      @cj7073 I like the 18-35. I use it with my S5's. I don't think this lens would be wide enough for real estate. The crop factor would make the 18-35 f1.8 more like a 27mm-52mm because the sigma 18-35 is an APS-C lens.

      But the MC-21 only accepts EF lenses and says nothing about EF-S.

      I use tokina 11-16 2.8 via canon adapter and it's awesome for 4k 50p cropped shooting :) and also very cheap option

    Great content and really appreciated your insight on using the S5 for real estate!
    I got the S5ii a little while ago and I am new to the Lumix ecosystem. I have to agree, I know a lot of real estate shooters use a 16-35 lenses or wider but I feel like 16 and beyond can just look “bland”. I feel like that 18mm f1.8 is the sweet spot. Have you experienced any situations where you felt it just wasn’t enough? I just have the 35mm at the moment. Thanks!

    I had the s5 ii for a whole month and as a native s5mk1 user I have to say that the s5mk1 is good enough there really isn't anything that I would really sell anyone on for the extra money. Unlimited recording time is great sure, 6k internal is cool sure but not necessary, I actually almost never used it. So no need to shell out the money on a new camera, I would however shell it on lenses. My opinion

      Hey there, how do you find the S5ii for the real estate photography? Are you fully satisfied? Thanks!

      Hello! Now on black Friday I'm on the fence about getting an S5 or an S5ii, the difference is not that great, a bit less than 400€. Do you think is that difference worth the upgrade?

      In short I throw on the Nicest709 conversion lut from Panasonic. Adjust contrast, and curves, add 30% of the empire lut from Russel Kent and make some adjustments from there. You'll always need to tweak depending on lighting and angles, but this has been primarily my process.

    Bro help me 😂😂 can you DM the settings. There are nearly no videos on the correct way to shoot RE with the mark 2. This is my first camera and shooting with it. I just got my wide angle lens and I’m ready to rock.

    Thank you for your video! Im looking to upgrade my GH5S - doing RE with it - What is your opinion about the performance of the S5 Dynamic range? Interior/Exterior scenes?

  • @djcrash77
    @djcrash77 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Just a slight cringe on the fact you shoot without a tripod.. 😂😂 Would love to know what your video settings are, as your clips look super clean! 👌 I tend to get more noise than I'd like with my S5

    • @jeremybfilms
      @jeremybfilms  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      😂 but that in body stability makes it doable for sure.
      Settings for video FHD 60, vlog, I stay within the 400 - 2000 iso range, anything between 2000 - 4000 I find introduces noise. 4000 is where the dual native kicks in and removes noise till about 8000 iso.
      When colouring make sure to use Lumix's rec.709 converter, I use Nice709 and colour on top of that.

    Aside from Real Estate, which I probably won’t ever shoot. Would you pair the 50mm with the 18 or 24mm? Already have the 20-60mm

      Are you talking about Lumix's Prime lenses? If it's feasible then for sure! They're super light, they all share the same weight so swapping them out with the Ronin is super convenient.
