    I just switched to Fujifilm. In full frame terms I have a 15-36mm and a 50. Preferably I shoot 15 for RE and 24 for designers. And of course 50 for details.

  • @AndreiRestrepo

    35mm has always been my favorite for like everything, lately 50 has been the go to as well. It’s really easy to get caught up and just shoot all real estate at 16mm like everyone else but the other perspectives were so nice. Good refresher! Also cool swing outro lol

    Thank you Taylor! I mainly shoot city type vlogs and some real estate home tours.
    I currently use a G - 16-35 2.8 lens. What other lens should I add to make my production better?
    Was thinking something with a 1.8 aperture...

    • @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo
      @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! It really depends on what type of shots you’re wanting to add. For details I really like 50mm primes, but for more variety / location shots for vlogs a telephoto could be fun and isn’t used much in the industry (like a 70-200)

    • @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo
      @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks! Basically anything over 20MP is going to do a good job for photos. I’d maybe go with something that works with your lenses you already have! So if you’re set up for Canon APSC the r7 could work great for photos or even the EOSR or newer r8 since they’re full frame if you want more options for future photo work 🫡

      @@coyotestudios1 They should work with the EF-RF adapter. That’s what I used for my recent handheld BTS video (sigma 18-35 w/r7) and it worked great!

    Amazing Video. Its the end of 2023, what camera would you recommend for Real Estate Video and Photos? I come from a GH5 background but need to upgrade to full frame.

    • @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo
      @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks! Depends on what you like! Have you checked out the Panasonic full frame cameras? They look pretty sweet especially with the "open gate" framing that would allow you to reframe real estate videos for horizontal + vertical easier. I haven't used their cameras at all but that might be good for you if you're already used to it and have compatible lenses to get going. Otherwise for a one-camera solution that is good for both, the Canon R6 , R6ii, R5, R5c or Sony A7iv & a7cii are probably the best.

    Hello Taylor! Question, do you think a Sony a6700 (APS-C) paired with the Sigma 10-18mm f2.8 is a good combo to start real estate video business?? I'm thinking on buying a nice camera but don't want to invest too much in a full frame just yet. Thanks!

    • @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo
      @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey! I haven't used it personally but based on the specs (10 bit, 4k etc) I would think it'd do a good job. Similar to the R7 that I've tried out by Canon where the footage looked great.

    Does F-stop matter? What F-stop should my lense be capable of if I get a 16mm, 24mm etc?

    • @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo
      @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes - Having a lower number means that your lens can let more light in (and get blurrier backgrounds if you're doing detail shots or portraits) So that comes in handy for low-light interiors and shooting videos at dusk (in real estate) I like f2.8 lenses and have found the 16-35 f2.8 has been a good long term investment, but you can still get great results with an f4 lens if that makes more sense for your budget.

    What do you think about the 14-35mm f4 lens for Canon r8? Is it suitable for filming real estate? Will it be a bit too dark? I'm wondering between it and the Sigma 14-24mm F2.8, which is very heavy... I wonder how difficult it will be to work with the gimbal. Btw You're doing a good job ;)

    • @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo
      @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo  14 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Thanks! Either way is probably going to be fine. I like having 2.8 for creative stuff but it’s not totally necessary especially if it makes it a lot harder on you to film. Lighter & easier can equal better end results too!
