Everywhere is picturesque. I have watched your short film of this Eagle Creek trail many times. The film, this behind the scenes and footages are equally captivating. Charming 😍
Hello my Outdoors friend, thank you so much for sharing this beautifully filmed video. Your video brought back some pleasant memories. Decades, when the family still lived in Portland, Oregon, my parents an aunt, uncle and I hiked up Eagle Creek the water falls. All the best to you gentlemen. Stay safe and Healthy. 🤗
This was probably the greatest trail in the Columbia Gorge. If you never had the chance to hike it, I hope you someday get the opportunity to do it when it grows back. Some of the greatest adventures I ever experienced, involved a backpack, my wife and a beautiful trail.
Hiked this trail many times, several times a month it would be my get away. People are respectful, but it is so much nicer during the week. Occasionally I would hike up to the lake which I think is another 5-6 miles. This must be one of the most beautiful places in Oregon. Since I am not able to hike any longer and not sure how much of the trail is left after the fire, thank you for sharing a beautiful memory.
Great job guys!!! it was really cool to watch the main film and the behind the scenes. Every time my boys and I go out on the trail, I can't help but to think of how small we truly are in Gods creation. thanks for sharing.
Good to know. I just picked one up after it was rated so highly by Backpacker magazine. I had doubts about how fast you can filter until I saw you use it. wow. The water you filtered on camera was pretty clear, did you have to filter anything a bit more murky? If so, how did it perform then?
AFter watching the behind the scenes I have had EVERYONE who passed my office watch the movie, great job guys, I'm on view #25, and I was sure to tell others to watch it from their phones and PC's to like comment and subscribe! Thanks again for sharing!
OMG beautiful place! Thanks for sharing. Under the water falls there, it reminds me of a mini Niagara Falls, Canada side. You can also walk behind it through their tunnels. Your camera colour is fantastic, very clear HQ as well. Not to mention the camera man capturing it ever so lovely.
just just amazing..near to my heart its my wish to become your team member and explore these kids lovely places. big love from Big Bhai (Pakistan) i tried to show Pakistan & India Village and border life on my channel
Amazing! 😍 Great video! (The one you made.) So this was the forest that burned? It will grow back and I will hike there some day. I have friends in Oregon.
@@ReviewOutdoorGear Didn't you enter a Wilderness Area though? No drones allowed. It's nice to see such beautiful footage but upsetting to see such a blatant disregard for the Wilderness rules.
I live here (about 1/2 hour away) I've hiked this trail many, many times Unfortunately it was all burned away in the eagle creek fire September 2, 2017 - November 30, 2017 that decimated thousands and thousands of acres of this pristine forest as of this writing (4-5-2020 ) it is now starting to grow back still not pristine yet give it 10-15 more years and we'll see
Yo, In one of your earlier videos I saw you reading some medical/biology books? Are you going in that route?? Also, this video was awesome! You should come down to california, some great trails here, and maybe do a trip or two with fans!! I'd love to join, i watched so many of your reviews and now have all the gear id need if i were to go alone. But thats not wise
I'm pretty sure you knew your door was on the other vehicle. How did you not? Its just something you shouldn't do unless your 5. If for some reason you really didn't realize it, that might even be worse. It means you probably do it all the time. Not cool!!!!
Yeah I do enjoy your channel man, it's just something like that that upsets me. I do appreciate you fessing up and hopefully you do really respect others property.
People like you are why we can't have nice things... I'm sure you left a scratch at the bare minimum. Just find a different place to park. Don't wedge yourself in and then damage someone else's car.
Pack Mule I noticed that also and didn’t comment until I looked to see if someone else brought it to his attention. thanks If you hadn’t, I would have.
I mean I don’t believe in it either but there’s no need to be rude unless someone’s actually doing something worth being upset about. Someone just simply having a belief by itself is not that.
I was fortunate enough to be able to get to tunnel before the fire as well. I tell people about it all of the time. great footage

What watch were you using? It could tell the temperature!
Thank you guys for sharing this trip. Blessings and hope you have many more awesome trips.

anymore info on the trail route itself guys?
How did the water taste after using that BeFree filter? Thanks.
+Elisa Duran excellent - none of that chemical/plastic

Scott Sweet yes, I've filtered some nasty water and it was great. You'll see in an upcoming review.
Happy happy to meet you soon !!! #@!!!
Super guys very joyfull both are youu....
I just picked up one of those filter bottles as a backup to a sawyer - looks like a great alternative, like you said, for shorter trips
Was using drones legal
No, drones aren't legal in Wilderness Areas. It's a shame.
what kind of backpack do you guys recommend? i don't like mine anymore
Patton Stonewall osprey backpack
+Patton Stonewall yes, any of the Osprey brand won't disappoint
Nice pathfinder, ive had mine for at least 8 years maybe 10
What watch is Eugene wearing?
This is the Casio Pathfinder - I have a review here: th-cam.com/video/vmWVc7Raltk/w-d-xo.html
What stove did you guys use.
1776Freedom the Optimus Crux Lite Solo

Did u happen to see if dogs are allowed on that trail? Also, how many decent camp spots did u see?

4:00 I think I'd rather have the kayak on the outside of me. Much easier to just drop the kayak and live if things get hairy.
Guys, when did you go?
Several months before it burned
wonderful place.awesome. whats the 2 travellers name.
Eugene and Vlad

Man! You guys really move! ☺️ That was a beautiful hike! Is the hike moderate or difficult?
It was moderate tow easy in our book. The miles add up though.
Does your drone disassemble or something? I didnt see you carrying it on trail so I assume you got it into your pack somehow?
Scott Sweet the propellers come off - and I carried it in the top of my pack.

Thank you.
Can it still be hiked?
@@samsmith3025 yes I hope to travel there

Rule 1: never set up camp by the river
Why?
Too noisy?

If you hadn’t, I would have.
You lost me at “praise god, etc....”. Your desperation for validation of a sky fairy is just too sad.
That's what you took from this video?? Gosh, you must have such a fragile self-esteem if you're offended by a belief that billions of people have. -_-
