We actually do have a ton of places in the US that do adiam bbq that looks like this (kbbq, Japanese bbq, Chinese/Filipino skewer bbq). I’ve never seen a bbq for just one person tho so that’s cool. The places I go to have a 2 person minimum lol

I also never understood why it's seen as something good and awesome that a waiter or waitress is talking to you ... you are basically forced to give them a tip and most of the time they are incredibly unfriendly. It's a job of the past

Looks nice! You shouldn't use the same gripper for both raw and cooked meat though due to cross-contamination.

from Japan. Thank you for the delicious image. However, there is one problem (probably there was no Japanese clerk). In yakiniku provided by Japan, the tongs are for raw meat to prevent food poisoning such as O-157, so please use chopsticks instead of tongs for the baked meat.
*One thing to say, pls dont use the same sticks for the raw and done meat thx great vid!.*

to be fair, this is Japan. The hygiene standards for raw meat there are extremely high. It's certainly much safer there then most other countries to use the same utensils for both the raw and cooked meat!

This is amazing! It is very different from the way we barbecue in my country. Here in Brazil, we usually cut the slices of meat as thick as possible. I would have to eat a lot more than you to make me feel satisfied 😂😂

I love how it's normalised in those countries to go out for dinner alone. I wish it was more normalised in western countries, like, I once drank a cup of coffee on a terrace at a cafe alone and two girls passing by made fun of me for doing that... -__-'

Because dinner is seen as a family thing or something you do together. But people do go to dinner always, where do you fucking live?
It's normalized in eastern countries because they are mostly lonely. Japan has a high suicide rate and many people there are lonely, live in their workplace, tiny apartments, etc. Because working super hard is pretty much normalized, and everything else is seen as a waste, people spend more time inside than outside
