Well hotpots and self BBQs aren't a staple in American culture so you'd probably find more of these restaurants in the cities where more international peeps mingle.
Plus they'd complain about having to cook their own food lol Ive been thinking about buying all the ingredients and using my little induction cookers for the soup base to cook and my big griddle and make it at home. Where I live there are no hot pot restaurants. The closest is in Detroit or Chicago. Which is a very long drive My daughter and her boyfriend said they would love to try this. There is a fairly big Asian market about an hour drive so I know I can source many of the ingredients. I have a meat slicer so if frozen most meat can go paper thin like that. But geez I can't see it being as inexpensive as this meal was 😳
My hubby and I live in rural KY and drive an hour to Knoxville TN to eat Korean BBQ. I loved BBQ when I lived in Japan and am so thankful I can share the experience with him. thats a dinner for a familly of four ...
I LOVE it! Would have made a few different choices, but overall, I can do real damage at a Buffet. Wish I had been there! Great video!
I've just found this channel, your wife / partner or sister or what ever has the cutest smile when she sees food and is pleased, 10/10 would watch again.
So high tech!! I love the train and conveyor belt.
Wished we had those types of things here. Would deff be an enjoyable experience. I can see this as a hot spot for honeymooners/anniversaries in the US. Husband and I just recently celebrated our 11 year marriage anniversary.
There’s hotpot conveyer belt places in Orlando, I don’t think they’re very common in the US.
Omggg I'm so jealous of you guys, that place looked awesomely awesome especially the little train that bought you guys the food. Did you guys manage to eat it all or do they give you a doggie bag?
11:55 - A free portion of Wagyu beef?! 🤤
Seriously, my mouth is now watering after seeing all that deliciousness. I now have something new to add to my bucket list!
So much food! I am full just watching this.
I say this with the utmost respect, Mrs. Bacons is ssooooooooo cute!! I just love her little happy dance and how she reacts to the different flavors, especially if it's one she's not sure of.
thats his mom
@@okuyasualternativeuniverse4397 Holy Necropost Batman!! In regards to what you just posted, I still have a 98% probability of being correct regardless of the relationship between the two. She is in a ton of the DB videos, ergo the use of the name "bacons". If you actually watch the videos she wears a ring on the third finger of her left hand, which is the placement of a ring if someone is married, facilitating the use of "Mrs" hence "Mrs. Bacons" I never said that the videographer and her were married. I really don't understand the need to try to point out the relationship, especially on a post that is 4 months old, when it was not mentioned in the first place but hey you do you boo.
@@werebear15 ok nice
@@werebear15 good for u
Never seen a buffet style like this and almost fainted see how much food was consumed. I bet every bite was great. Amazon, car hop trays.
I always wanted to try a hotpot. It always looks amazing in anime. But it looks even better IRL.
Perfect for the cold weather.
This looks like a fun and amazing experience!
They would never trust us with something like this in the United States. People won't know what they were doing, burn themselves, end up suing the restaurant and it would shut down. It's really a shame because I have always wanted to go to a place that does things like this. Maybe their are some places that do it, but I live in more of a rural area, so that could have something to do with it.
Anyways, great video as always. It's 3am and I couldn't sleep. Now I am hungry. lol
Well hotpots and self BBQs aren't a staple in American culture so you'd probably find more of these restaurants in the cities where more international peeps mingle.
Plus they'd complain about having to cook their own food lol
Ive been thinking about buying all the ingredients and using my little induction cookers for the soup base to cook and my big griddle and make it at home.
Where I live there are no hot pot restaurants. The closest is in Detroit or Chicago. Which is a very long drive
My daughter and her boyfriend said they would love to try this.
There is a fairly big Asian market about an hour drive so I know I can source many of the ingredients.
I have a meat slicer so if frozen most meat can go paper thin like that.
But geez I can't see it being as inexpensive as this meal was 😳
@@Emeraldwitch30 an hour's drive?? my god, it would take about an hour and a half to drive across our country. the dedication 😂😂
My hubby and I live in rural KY and drive an hour to Knoxville TN to eat Korean BBQ. I loved BBQ when I lived in Japan and am so thankful I can share the experience with him. Locals don't understand the whole cooking your own food, but I love it because everything is fresh and cooked just how you like it.
@@gabriellel1118 lol I do admit here in the United States its a long way to everywhere lol and I live quite aways out in the country. Its very hard for some of my family from the UK to understand. My one cousin thought we could just jump on a train and go a couple hours from Michigan to see the statue of liberty in New York. I told him that would be like driving from England to say Italy sure it could be done but not in a couple hours lol. Hugs.
My daughter and myself have already started making lists of what we want to make for a hot pot and we also have a small charcoal grill we can set up in my back yard. We are planning in trying it this summer when the garden is producing lots of veggies to go in.
Wish us luck. We watch all the asian hot pot videos from Korean to Singapore to Japan and will just do our best.
The fact that you thought you guys ordered too much but kept on picking up food from the conveyor belt even after that 😂 you could probably feed 4 people with that amount of meat
All the while the lady is in the background living her best life 🤣 The food looked amazing id love to go somewhere like this to eat!
I wish I could eat this much food 😍 I have stomach problems so I could never but I live through your videos
We could never have this in the states. Someone would undercook their chicken and then sue when they got sick 🥺
"She's concerned about over-order"
*Keeps grabbing extra dishes*
Btw too much "off" food.
There were too many leftover but he didn't record that. Waste lot of food just for views. What a shame.
@@darthpapa696 ...welcome to TH-cam? The algorithm has been promoting “wastefulness” like this for nearly 10 years now, get mad at YT, there’re the ones incentivizing content like this.
Also most mukbangs waste 100x more food, than vids like this.
@@darthpapa696 can hope restaurant will add "wasted food tax" to discourage customers from not eating everything
Love this! Restaurants could save on wait staff if they installed these conveyor belts! Staffing restaurants seems to be a big problem stateside now.
