Hey Rachel, I'm on an "Extreme" budget, but I love croquettes. I've done canned beef, salmon, canned chicken, & now I wana try tuna. Since I can rarely afford eggs, I've found a substitute: 1 egg=1Tbs cornstarch, 2 TBS water. It works perfectly! I add flour Instead of breadcrumbs, but I'm old, old school. They come out so tasty & crusty. Love ur videos!!!

I remember my mother making tuna patties during Fridays of Lent and especially on Good Friday. Growing up Catholic we fasted from meat on Fridays which I still observe. My mother has since passed. I made this a couple days ago and my partner enjoyed them, almost forgot it’s not crab cake. Yummy yummy Rachel! I didn’t have crumbs so I used cornflake crumbs and Only issue my patties did not hold shape while frying so I tossed them in air fryer and it was fine.

But could you please if you can, show us how to make homemade egg noodles. My mother-in-law’s were so good but she never really showed me how. I think she thought it was odd I grew up not knowing how to cook anything. Thank you for your generosity in showing us how to cook. 😊
