They also sell kits that include the yeast to make the alcahol. You can actually refine it over and over until the alcahol content is high enough to use it for motor fuel or cook stoves. Better than mulching everthing or eating so much of it that your sick of it.

@@tommyandpeter I presume you are aware that the water in your tub will need to be "managed" if you intend to keep it there for any length of time. I mention this because you said that you were glad it had warmed up! I have a pool and it needs constant checking of the PH and chlorine/salt levels, as well as the occasional addition of anti-alguae liquid. It might be easier if you just renew the water every few days ... and put up with the cold!
No chemicals needed, no constant checking. We change the water completely after maybe 3 weeks, it's an ok frequency for us. It's not a pool, just a simple barrel (the lid helps against algae). Changing the water every few days would be a total waste of water and completely environmently unfriendly, also not pleasant at all, so there would be no point of having the barrel at all.

Zucchini ice cream , how to do:Ingredients: Milk, whole - 1 ¼ cup (200 ml) Cream - 1 ½ cups (355 ml) Vanilla extract - 1 tsp (5 ml) Sugar - ½ cup (100 grams) Cinnamon - 1 tsp Salt - ¼ tsp Zucchini, grated (all except the seedy centre) - 1 ¼ cup (190 grams) Walnuts, finely chopped (optional) - ⅔ cup (50 grams) Procedure: Place all the ingredients (except the walnuts) in a saucepan and simmer until the zucchini is just tender but not mushy. Place the pan in an ice water bath and cool completely. Add the walnuts if desired. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for your ice cream maker or: Pour the mixture into a flat metal baking pan and freeze. Once frozen the ice cream can be served, or stored for future use: Transfer the ice cream into an airtight container and return to the freezer.
So much sugar, milk and cream, and so little zucchini (190 g is like one half of a small zucchini). We would need a recipe for like 10 kg of zucchini, haha 😂

When I was a young man I used a spray product that gradually lightens one’s hair. My coloring is similar to yours, and the shade ended up being rather blondish but more gold than orange. I recall I went to dinner at my parents house and in the middle of the meal my father suddenly exclaimed “What the *$#@ did you do to your hair?!” I’ll never forget that moment. 12:13 Yikes, don't you have a pickaxe? I guess that's how you guys stay in such good shape, all that manual labor. The barrel was a great idea, we used to use a horse trough in the hostest months. Same as yours but they are long and skinny so you can lay down in them. Looks like fun!

Peter is definitely a “ginger” now….dark hair has to be “ lifted” at least twice to get a true golden blonde color, otherwise you get ginger or brassy blonde color…maybe “ orange “ is the new blonde? I love jam, blackberry is my favorite and made 12 pints this year..
To change dark hair to blonde, you have to bleach the hair first. Next you color it, blonde or other colors. I have even seen hair with the Pride Flag colors. That process took hours, as you might have imagined.

I'm lazy, but I'd probably have found it easier to leave the tub on the path and redirect the path around the tub. Then the foundation under the tub would be more secure. There's an old nursery rhyme - rub-a-dub dub three men in a tub... Now you just need a 3rd man. The sun might turn that into a hot tub. You might also need to add some chlorine to keep algae from growing in there.
Zucchini bread is delicious! You can't do much 'swimming' in that 'swimming pool'. You can't even tread water. But it's a nice little cool-off (and cuddle) tub. A gay couple who doesn't know what to do with big zucchinis? I'm shocked! lol.

Yes, we eat everything. Only with zucchinis it is too much. We gave a few to colleagues at work and such, but we still have a ton. Family and neighbors don't want any because everybody grows their own and they have a lot of them too 😀 We store them in the house, so over time we should be able to eat them if they don't go bad in the meantime 😁

No drain at the bottom. We will have to pour out the water completely by turning the barrel upside down. It's easier to clean it this way (we need to do it from time to time), we think. We'll see 🙂

Consider that pouring it over might kink or break the edge. The sun will make it less flexible and the water has already widen the edge, for the lid.
We'll be careful. We do that with our other water barrels every year and they are ok. We'll see 🙂

Orange is totally the new blond 😀 But in the meantime it got blonder on our sunny vacation in the south 😉
