...because the Golf is considered the market-leader, you casual. Anyone even only slightly familiar with the car industry knew what he meant. EPIC facepalm.
I have the GQV. Very happy with it except the handling feels wierd and dont like the turbo lag. But it defintely looks very unique and exotic on the road. I have the full leather seats which really makes it a luxury hatchback. All my friends love it and always talk about all the different features. Its defintely a conversation piece. You would not get that if you had a Golf. Your friends would just get in and say nothing.
Italian car have not good immage, but the best motor 2011 was giulietta and in the sport italian car ever win on german. German car are for rude people, Italian for elegant. And technology are same, maybe better Italia, that german are better is a legend (in fact the multijet, commonrail, etc etc are all italian technology baby).
Fantastic from most angles, agree it would look better with Mito style taillights though and the steering wheel could have been better (the one on my 147 is close to perfect) proper bargain now these if you do you homework and expect to have a little in reserve for service and maintenance ❤
@gloup81 how are you finding her? looking to buy next year probably going for the 170 multiair Veloce in white with red brake calipers, sat in one not to long ago and it was wonderful
@randombloke10 after been driving it for about 4700 kms, i'd say its a great car. Feeling, comfort, everything is great. Only negative point that i can mention is that the engine feels quite sleepy up to 2000rpm. after that it wakes up for good ;)
@gloup81 sat in one in scotland and my only fault was the centre consol moves into the drivers side(right) too much so i wouldnt have a clutch rest ... :( ... still other than that it was gorgous
@Tsparkdriver i ordered my giulietta (tomorrow i'm getting her :D) and the dealer told me that giulietta will not be available in any red. only a bordeaux one will be available :/ (mine's white)
Because they would be the ones more interested... It is normal that if you have an AR presentation AR owners or former owners will appear. Same for any brand. ANY
Alfas, especially the Giulietta, seem to have a bit of a cult like following with people knocking others down for any criticism of it. As an owner of a G, I'm not convinced by the reliability or build quality, especially the interior, transmission, suspension and especially the serviceability of parts. Unlike the 156 generation the G shares a lot more visible parts with Fiat models such as the Bravo and 500. The stock suspension is too high and there is a fair amount of body roll giving you a lack of feel and accuracy on corner entry. There are a lot of design features that negatively impact usability and leave you constantly thinking of ways things could be improved. On the plus side the rear looks good and the engines in the range offer good power for the money but I would advise anyone looking to buy one to do their research and have a serious think about whether you want to invest the time, effort and money into owning one of these and make sure the owner you're buying from has a wide range of knowledge about the car because unlike comparable cars they can't be driven for miles unserviced.
I own one and its not perfect, but what you're saying here doesn't reflect my experience at all . And remember electrical power steering causes a lack of feel on all modern cars not just this one .
@skorob2010 if you dont like alfas why do you troll so many of their video's, there are always better built cars than an alfa but nothing in the world has tha spark that an alfa has and thats coming from a big audi fan
Yes they do , it was an open invitation and no women turned up. Don't worry I'm sure there are lots of women working behind the scenes doing all the camera work and technical stuff too complicated for men to do. And these are strong ,independent confident , intelligent and highly successful women that dont need men, wealthy too wealth that they have earned themselves . Hopefully you'll sleep better now.
That may be the case but it has nothing to do with driving an alfa. I've driven them for 25+ years and would have been interested in a woman's opinion. Simple as that!
It's 11 years now and still looks beautiful
i was just gonna say that i agree
"Its golf like almost" how dare he compare an alfa with a bloody golf. Epic facepalm
haha indeed... Golf is just a square... It has no design what so ever...
...because the Golf is considered the market-leader, you casual. Anyone even only slightly familiar with the car industry knew what he meant. EPIC facepalm.
Love the Giulietta, superb design and would certainly have this over the new Golf 7
actually, the alfa giulietta is the most beautiful "c sector" in the global auto market....
i am very proud of "my alfa romeo"

Always comparing Alfa and VW, when speaking about Alfa, you think passion, dolce vita, pleasure, ... Speaking about VW is just boring.
8uuu
Thanks ! You seems to be the standard VW "driver" , not too bored of your VW (Audi or Seat or Skoda, except the logo it's the same scrap) ?
@@malusdomestica856 Pretty sure one person also mentioned BMW.

the 2010-present Alfa Romeo Gilulietta is assembled in
Cassino - Piedimonte San Germano, Italy

@Tsparkdriver
i ordered my giulietta (tomorrow i'm getting her :D) and the dealer told me that giulietta will not be available in any red. only a bordeaux one will be available :/ (mine's white)
why 90 % of they interview were AR owners
Because they would be the ones more interested... It is normal that if you have an AR presentation AR owners or former owners will appear. Same for any brand. ANY

How much will it cost to insure for a new inexperienced driver ?
lol
i think it would be a much better looking car if they put proper dorr handles on it on the rear door
@skorob2010 if you dont like alfas why do you troll so many of their video's, there are always better built cars than an alfa but nothing in the world has tha spark that an alfa has and thats coming from a big audi fan

Great car ! wonderful!
@Comfort147 Now I'm confused :)))
Alfa Romeo wear out those who don't.

Do women not drive Alfas???
Yes they do , it was an open invitation and no women turned up.
