I own a Giuletta, but not this one. I value my licence. The car makes you feel superior, when you put it next to a focus or whatever. I never felt like that before. Its painfully pretty and the inside is like a trendy Italian coffee shop. I believe that the car gets jealous looks from others and you get let out of junctions etc a lot more. Don't know if other Alfa owners feel the same?
+CarAdvice.com Fair review. I also just had a nice wave from a woman driving in an Giuletta, in the opposite direction. Is this normal? I am sure i ain't a looker but the car is.
+old welsh bloke Waving to people who drive the same car is something I enjoy doing aswell. Of cours that would be tedious if you drive a Passat for example and you wave every 100 meters :P I drive a classic Golf II and when I wave to other Golf II´s I always get smiles back :P The Golf II is in my opinion one of the last VWs with a proper soul.
oohhh yeah I get you, got a Giulietta myself (1.4TB Distinctive, pretty snappy but not a monster like the QV), nothing but haters around me, especially Honda Civic owners, they are so freakin salty their cars look so ugly! XD
Old Welsh Bloke yep feel the same and not only when you drive beside focus , also golf , peguet 308 , and it looks classic from the front , sexy ass ;) sporty from the side
mister reviewer u are great person and very good at what you do.rarely i can say this for all those reviewers out there.gratzz and keep up with great work.
They should've brought this to the US after the 4c and right before the Giulia (which is also gorgeous). Although the market for hot-hatches here is much smaller than that in Europe, the choices are woefully slim (GTI, Hyundai Veloster, Focus ST). The Giuletta QV would instantly stand out.
I think the hot-hatch shortage makes this all the better to own. You really will stand out and you'll also have people staring after you because of the design and logo on the car. I haven't seen a single Alfa on the road here in California even though there are 3-4 dealerships near me.
I wonder, I had one of these in 2018, sold it due to relocation in 2020, it is now 2024, should I buy it again? For the money (used market), I can't think of anything else that is interesting to buy... Tried a BMW 118i (140 bhp 2023 model), more modern interior but dull to drive and heavy. On the other hand this is an 8 year old car on a 15 year old design. Still looks fantastic though.
Io sto diventando debole...
+Mihail Ghinea It's due to the frequency of the light and the frequency the camera records at - the same reason why if you see a computer screen on a TV show it can look like it's flickering.
WyskEdits they're LED lightes- they go on and off in milliseconds (not always "on") anf the camera catches that. Its the same when you film led headlights/ led displays
Sexy car. Was that metallic silver/grey in a satin finish? It looked quite unusual. Love the interior and the seats! Shame the car doesn't get a LSD for the front end though, with such acceleration it could use one!
for mito yes guilietta yes maybe, all the rest rear, much better sporty handling. old school rwd. I had to old gtv's 77 and 81 and loved them, except the rust.
The megane rs may be a bit hardcore for some people especially it is a bit PITA to play with the clutch in daily traffic and the cup chassis maybe a bit unforgiving to live with. It looks aggressive and the racer look attracts unnecesary racing on roads. While the alfa offers with maturity with italian flares, looks more subtle and easy to live with on everyday driving.
The Quadrifoglio badges represents over 100 years of racing. They were Alfa Romeo in 1910, and started racing in 1911. Up until today, 2014.
Totally underestimated car - you don´t see that Alfa in any Hot Hatch comparison...
Bella macchina!!!
Alfa Romeo wears down those who don't.

Steering wheel wouldn't be so big if there was a normal sized human behind it.
Where can I find that keychain at the 1:28 mark?
Just got rid of my brera for one if these absolutely love it !😁
Stunning car would love one
How do you make the rear led lights flash like that ?? It's awesome i've seen it on lot of supercars !
It's actually the LED pulsing at a speed the camera can see but your eye can't.
+Mihail Ghinea It's due to the frequency of the light and the frequency the camera records at - the same reason why if you see a computer screen on a TV show it can look like it's flickering.
Tap your foot really quickly
What's the background music? It's very beautiful.
Good review!
Grazie di cuore 😊
Can someone explain to me why the rear lights are flickering as he drives? It looks very cool!

weird looking car an to be honest why buy this when you can buy a megane rs
