I completely agree with your observations about the Caterham LED headlight units. The net effect of turning main beam on is supposed to be more light, not less! Only used them once after dark and ran straight off to the aftermarket in search of an upgrade.
Thanks @joan4906 We'd really hoped to get out into dark lanes to show the difference, but the weather wasn't great for the cameraman to stand around in whilst Callum drove back and forth 😆
brilliant info. I have been scared of being rear ended in my racing green rear since I got it. Thanks. will be ordering your light packs asap (well, well before Sept!)
Hi there! I've got a few questions: - Do you offer any discount on online sales when it comes to the headlights? - How hard is the installation if you have non LED headlights? - Do you know if homologation is easy in the European Union (Spain)?
Hello! Yes, if you're buying them for fitting yourself they're £380 excluding VAT. Installation is quite easy, yes. Any practical owner should be fine with it 😊 (our video man did his own Caterham lights, and he claims to be 'incompetent at DIY' 🤣) And lastly, yes, they have an E marking. We've sent quite a few into various EU countries 👍
I have the LED factory lights... and am heading to europe.... I guess there is not much room for manoeuvre to adjust them to point in the opposite direction, but do you think they will point straight so as not to blind anyone...?
well after having 20% of people flashing me, I have to say this is not true.... the dipped beam is pointing the wrong way and it annoys other drivers... they can be turned quite easily though@@turn7caterham
Hello! LED headlamps are a vast improvement on old technology, including the 'directional' light - it's no longer a problem with LEDS. They work no matter what country. That's all to say, yes, you can use our LED headlights with EU (LHD) vehicles too.

This channel is pure gold
Thank you @pablouvedoble 🙏 🥇
These videos are so good. I had been reading about headlight options and this has answered pretty much every question I had. Keep up the good work!
Great to hear! Many thanks for the kind words David. If there's anything else we can help you with, feel free to ask here, or drop us an email 👍
Great video to showcase the difference
Glad you liked it!
Highly valuable information here! 👍🏻
Wow, that was very informative. Many thanks.

You don’t need to do anything with LED lights Gary, they’re international by default (flat tops to the beam pattern) 👍
thankyou! Do you know if you can retro fit a heater in a new caterham.... difficult I guess, but possible..ever done it?@@turn7caterham
You can@@garymurraya yes. Caterham have kits if you want to DIY, or it's probably 4-5 hours work for your friendly local specialist 😊

Are your headlights also availible for LHD EU vehicles?

Thank you. Do they also have the (for germany required) ECE? I would love to use them if they do @@turn7caterham
@staubkappe3425 Double checking on that - bear with us please 😊
