I like sotn but still, super cvIV is just so atmospheric and matches the classic hero, classic castle, classic monsters, and classic story of the time so perfectly. Its like an old dracula movie and i just love it

Then we got the fucking games like “50% chance to have a 20% chance of reducing incoming magic damage by 30% and increasing your Hp permanent damage resistance by 73.463% when using your Legendary Spear that increases your damage by 1/3 but decreases the chance of an enemy dropping a high rarity weapon by 1/43 of 65%.”
Okay. Hear me out. I know May has already passed. But what about "Metroid-May-Nia" Kinda like Shocktober but instead of horror, a bunch of Metroidvania games.
I really enjoyed this game. It was such a sleeper hit for me. Got 100%'ed on steam, and even put out a small guide on how to grind the last couple achievements!
I honestly had low expectations for this game but it just kept getting better, specially the later parts. Thank you as always Indeimaus for the commentary, it's always fun to watch any of your videos.
I've been waiting for people to cover this game since release. This game is my favorite metroidvania of the last few years, and I loved Blasphemous/HK. Hopefully this sends new people to them. The devs deserve the love. Sucks you missed the best bosses in the game though. The alternate realm bosses are easily the best content.
You ever get like 50% through the gameplay of a game and go "Ah shit I'm going to have to stop watching cause I want to play this unspoilt for myself" well this is definitely one of those 😅😅

I love the original God of Wars, but the new one's level design and combat is sooo good. I personally absolutely LOVE the fact that if you revisit areas after lowering the lake's water level you get to explore new places, and they're foreshadowed a long time before you can even access them with out of reach chests and items and enemies sometimes, it's awesome. It's feels like something right out of a metroidvania or a souls-game. Also those Valkirye fights holy hell
I like how, on that new end screen, my man's got Sallie on every single screen, and he still feels the need to have a little plush of her on his desk. That's one way to make someone feel wanted, lmao.
I remember playing that game on its entirety. There are like three endings and two endgame paths to take (they all end at the same place). Every ending offers an end to the story while also explaining different sub-plots. I really liked that the endings aren't just a simple conclusion, but also an extra piece of information to figure the world lore out. If you people are as lazy as me, there's a way to unlock every ending within a single playthrough, you just got to do something in the prologue, and prepare extra save slots before the final fight (or before giving the cubes to the doc, if you also want to experience the other endgame path without replaying the entire game). If you do everything right, each ending will basically be gated by a single ez bossfight and a choise. It's a really good MVania, a bit easier tho, but the story was way better, and it felt good figuring it out.
You can collect Daisy's items in the first playthrought. I believe that you missed about 6 bosses and a few areas... I love how big this game is. And though a bit confusing from time to time, I am definately gonna play it again.

The horse fish was a clever boss I think.A kelpy(or in game boss kelpie) is a mythological horse that looked wet at all times would lull its victims into a false sense of security and when you attempted to ride it you would be dragged to the nearest water source to be drowned by it.It loved swamps.

This game's demo impressed me so much I bough the full game when it came out nearly day 1. This game is a blast and if you're a fan of stuff like Nioh, Bloodborne, or Dark Souls this may be what you're looking for.
It was decent for me, I did notice some of the bosses had AI that was pure dumbassery though. Once you get rid of the poison for the doctor, he's fine. Tree dude did me in more than him. I even did the side bosses, and I must say, besides the doctor and the boss within the giant tree, I found most of them to be really poorly made. Not only that but the game is bloated as all hell. I'm so happy for those that enjoyed their time with it. I wish I could say the same.

Random thought i had during this video, I would highly recommend Touhou Luna Nights for you to play, if only because I think the Time Stop mechanic is cool. I dony know much other than that so hopefully someone could give more details, but i enjoyed what i played and would love to see it on the channel!
