I love psych and never wanted to entertain any other specialty in nursing. As someone in healthcare you are sooo right! The amount of people who should’ve never had kids and then did nothing but destroy them kids and putting them into a system that will absolutely fail most without support is sad. I hope to help people but the more I work in these environments the more I feel like we need laws to stop some people from baring children. It all starts at the home it seems.
Hey Angel!!! Ommmggggg tears! Yessssssssssssssss come out here (I told you I got you)!!!!! The stress is lower than a prostitute's panties!!! I'll tell you this, although my contract specified I only had to do 32 hours a week, I'm currently working 14 hour shifts 6-7 days a week by choice, with 58 hours of OT every week ( I would have never done this at my staff job, the math just wasn't mathing)!! When I leave work I am NEVER tired!!! I work at my own pace!! I am happier than I have ever been in my career as an NP. I can't say everything I want but just know that corrections is definitely a hidden gem! And you are absolutely inspirational❣I would have never stepped out on faith if it wasn't for you. I absolutely can NOT thank you enough! Congratulations on school and keep being the inspiration that you are❤

Why don’t you offer a course. I am a few steps behind you, I will be done with my BSN program in the Spring of 2024 but I plan to go further. Every level of my journey in nursing, a fellow sister nurse has helped me along and you are the next one for the advanced level of my career. When do plan to “Pick your brain” sometime next year. Yes, I swore with my ADN was it, I felt like I was getting too old for this here, cause honey I am tired but, I have the nudge to keep going. You are so inspiring. I go to Walden and will be graduating soon thank God! I was on the fence, but have been thinking about going back for my DNP also. Do you know how long the MSN-DNP program is? Also, do you know if any of our classes we took in the NP program will carry over and count towards the required classes for the DNP? Hello. I am a RN pre-licensure student and I envision myself being able to provide therapy more than just prescribe drugs. Will pursing a psych in NP be the wrong route? Everything I research says that psych NPs should refer out and not counsel.

I have sat for NCLEX Exam for the 9th time now and still failed , i guess licence isn't meant for people like me🤦♂️💔😥
