Man, I love watching you and the boys ride. Reminds me of me and my friends when we were in our twenties. I'm 51 now and when I ride it's pretty much solo. I'm the last one left out of all the buddies still riding. Your group ride videos are so good that I always feel like I'm out there riding with you guys. Thanks for making me feel like 20 without having to push so hard that I'd probably break bones. 🤣🤣🤣
This 57 year old grandma would live to ride all 3. Been on the street riding my little Grom and my hyper stand up kick scooters which are a blast. Electric….and only off road for years on my mountain bikes. Love dirt riding.
Oh man you guys have no idea how lucky you are to have trails like that you can rip on. Over here in the UK there isn’t many places you can go now without people complaining about you. Love your videos and can’t wait for another big build. Stay safe 👍
So sweet seeing you all riding together. Treasure the time of your youth it will help build a great foundation for your future. My choice would be the YZ 250
I just found your videos dude and I have to say that I love them. I live in the Whitehall area and it’s only about a 5 minute drive to pipestone so I love being able to recognize the trails you guys are ripping. Keep up the awesome content.
How about a total cost / parts breakdown (and include retail prices for parts you got from sponsors) im sure many of us are curious.. I'm guess you are about $5k all in.. not counting labor, of course 😊
Nice makeover dude, my Yz lovin the Phathead. Thing had won a shit ton of pro motos w Matty B at the bars . I have the y23 chamber in it now running a 112 non oxygenated leaded Sunoco , it eats
People say no engine braking with two strokes but I feel that’s not entirely true, yes compared to a 4 stroke, but it’s not like they don’t slow down on their own either.
I have a question for you I’m thinking about getting into a 2013 kx250f it has had full rebuild top to bottom but I’m not sure if I should avoid it because it has been rebuilt
Im looking into buying my first project bike, any suggestions on what kind of bike i should get? I currently have a 2006 honda CRF250R, but after watching your videos I want to restore/ rebuild a 2 stroke. I mostly ride single track and trails, nothing crazy.
Do you have a video where you explain why you put a paper towel between the chain and sprocket when tightening the rear axle bolt? Is this a way to ensure proper tension?
Can anyone give me riding tips? I just bought an crf 450 it’s alr been tuned and has mods on it but I went from a pitbike to a 450 I want to get into racing but really don’t know how.
Seat time. Watch videos on riding techniques…get a good base foundation before even thinking about racing. Honestly, you have way more bike than you need just starting out but if you respect it you can learn quick
At 12 you wouldn’t be able to touch the ground on a 250 nor be able to handle the powerband. I am 16 and my main woods bike is a Yamaha ttr230. I have ridden many yz250s and trust me, they are a handful. My recommendation is for a trail bike a ttr/crf125 or a klx140 small wheel. If you want an Mx bike go 85cc 2 stroke. You will kill yourself on a 250 at 12
@@KincadePavich Oh. I had a question for you Kincade. I would like to build a moveable shed to store dirt bikes and make a small workshop to flip bikes. What size would you think would be the best?
hi im a 12 year old boy who like to build things and i saw your videos and i was hoping u could help me, where can i find damaged dirtbikes? i hope u respond to this because i dont know where to start
As a kid I grew up around bikes (a yz125 old race one to be exact) and I have really wanted to become a motorbike TH-camr and when I grow up I hope I can join a crew and have a successful journey and you have inspired me to start working on motorbikes
Dude YZ 250's have to be about the best value per dollar dirt bike ever made. They are so versatile.
Agreed! Such solid machines. Awesome motors.
I just bought one couldn’t be happier with yz 250 96 model best buy

@@theibault Im 36 and a few guys in our riding group are in their 60s and they still rip. A body in motion stays in motion.

YZ300X Would be an industry game changer !!!
YZ350f, yz350XF AND yz250X/300X with an electric start...those are some industry game changers!
I could do without the four strokes. Had a couple and always went back to a two stroke.
Yeah man, that thing runs crisp. I’m going to have to ditch the lectron and get a smart carb for mine for sure

😂 Let's face it in the right hand. That YZ250 is competitive... right now 2024🎉
2 years ago i sold my ttr 125, and last year i bought a 450 sxf, let me tell you, ive never went past half throttle on that thing😂 big step up
my dude turns off the gas while yall are out rippin? shooosh
she looks mint!! great looking bike!
That 250 run's crispy 🤑
Yz never left me stranded.
I would love that yz250, I had a 96 back in the day and I miss that thing
Awesome! Do you have a breakdown of how much you spent on the YZ?
Always a good day when he posts

I love watching your videos so much l love dirt bikes
That's it, I'm building a 250 2-stroke!
YZ WAS SICK YZ WAS GOOD
The arm pump though...Brutal
I would love the 300
Epic ride
I have a question for you I’m thinking about getting into a 2013 kx250f it has had full rebuild top to bottom but I’m not sure if I should avoid it because it has been rebuilt
Avoid it
bro you need to make bikebuild with one of the less popular bike brands like fantic, beta, sherco, ducati etc
Not enough interest in those brands, parts are hard to find and $$$.
Yz looks and runs great!
Is Monty's newer bike a 450 or 250?
Monty's newer bike is a 2023 CRF250R! I bought the 450 from him. More on that soon!

How mutch did you spend to get yz like it is now?
You inspiriert me to build one for myself😂
where did you get the head and do you know if they make one for a ktm300 xc-w
You have great sharing skills!! xoxo
You don't need a $11000 bike to have fun.
You sure don't!
this spot looks so fucking cool
Much better than the “breakin’” ride on the 200 😂
Haha mission success this time!
Bro, ..I'd love to ride with you guys but i live in CO. 😢
You said you're putting a two-stroke motor in the 450?! Love to see a cr500 with electric start, just sayin...
How much was the total cost of the yz after the rebuild?

Respect that 450. They are a handful and a lot of work, especially for your first big bike! Focus on the basics and put the hours in to start!

Those tusk shifters are not the greatest, my sons yz 125 has one on it and it’s constantly coming out even with locktite.
