For anyone else who tries to swap the air filter the way pictured at 6:15, you can grab it and the piece of plastic it is mounted to slides out to the right. Then you take the nut off with the whole assembly out of the bike.
I love this video! My first bike was an '04 TTR 125. Got it for 1,100 in mint condition in 2021 and I still have it runs perfectly and she's so much fun still! Even after riding my 250 2 stroke I can just hop on it and go
I really like these bike flip videos, it would be cool to do a long form version. Clips of you searching market place, what to look for and to avoid. And then clips of inspecting the bike.
Bro! You got a page on rocky mountain that's so bad ass man! Keep it up ur killing it bro!! Absolute movie grade stuff imo going on on ur page legend in my books,
Would be awesome to get prices like that. Around here, people want $1700 for an 06 that needs tires, chain/sprockets, both levers, all plastics, doesn't even run, and is caked in mud because they can't be bothered to even clean it before posting it for sale. It's insane. The only TT-R125 I've seen for $1000 was beat to hell and missing parts. Great video though, I enjoyed it.
dude i love your videos. i want to get a quad but i just dont have the money. i was looking at a raptor 700r at a dealership but its just too expensive. in my area, running 400ex's go for about 2k-3k but theres no non running 400ex's. if theres a non running quad its like 1k-2k. it would be cool to see quad restorations from you.
please tell me what you think about 2t and 4t • reliability/ durability •complexity and servicing costs •availability of replacement parts thank you sir!! 🙏
The best bikes to flip are small bore air cooled 4 strokes, especially Honda and Yamaha's as they run forever and are very simple designs plus they appeal to a much broader market, larger more performance oriented MX and Enduro bikes get quite expensive to repair especially 4 strokes where repairs can easily exceed the value of the bike, you got good deals on both those bikes but the 2016 was a great deal but the TTR models are all pretty much the same, I'm curious as to the progress on your 200.
If I'm not mistaken, they are manufactured here in Brazil. These bikes sold well here because the Specials, like the YZ 80, 125, 250, and especially the 250 R and 450R, have an absurdly expensive price, reaching 80,000 reais, while our salary is 1,650 reais. This type of bike with better cost-effectiveness sells a lot here. But what leads our market is the CRF250F
@user-ng6ny No friend, here we usually convert the Honda Xr200 to ride off-road. A very reliable, economical motorcycle and most importantly, extremely cheap maintenance. Of course, it’s not a very strong motorcycle but it fits well its role on off-road trails.
@user-ng6ny Now, for those who have a bit more purchasing power, they buy the crf250f or a ttr230. And those who really have spare money buy the 250R and 450R
This is hilarious. me and my buddy just picked up a couple of these a few months back! doing the same thing! I got mine for a gaming pc I built over covid for 600$. buddy got his for a snowmobile an old clapped on, it doesnt snow in michigan anymore.
I have a 2019 LE version that I bought used and this video makes me question what is hidding in my bike that I don't know about. Great bike tho esspecially for begginers.
TTR125L is the best playbike. Screw those tiny minibikes. Little tip.. Open up the airbox lid and space the muffler end oun with a couple washers put a 17.5 pilot and a 110 main and prepare to be amazed.
Hi man i just love watching your video so much thats why i subcribe already i love watching them coz i like dirtbikes and dreaming to own one someday nice work and keep it up bro your very good 😊
Hey, im rebuilding my 2002 ttr 125 and the oil pan leaks oil from the drain hole, im pretty sure the threads are broken and someone did a bad job fixing it (ME) 😭, my dad recently decided to stop riding dirtbikes so im gonna get his 2019 yz250f and i wanna get this ttr running good, looking relatively NOT CLAPPED (change the plastics and fix the oil leak, grips and possibly clutch handle since its really loose and floppy as if it was lacking a washer or something) this is my first time freshing up a bike to then sell it and i really am stuck on the plastics at the moment, wherever i look i cant find ANY plastics for it and i was wondering where you got your 07 ttr plastics from, as of right now it runs good and maybe needs a carb readjust but thats about it, i really like your videos and i wanna start rebuilding bikes like u man, greetings from poland! 🇵🇱
I have a 07 ttr-125 and I have put a new carb and it still does not start. Went through the basics it has gas, spark, and air flow but still does not start. Don’t know what the problem is
i do this on the side to make money and get more experience working on bikes, just unfortunate that i live in a small town and there’s not much of a market for bikes to flip
@@KincadePavich Rocky Mountain uses OnTrac as their delivery carrier. At least on the east coast. They stole $400 worth of merch I bought. Marked it delivered and everything. Never was delivered. I spent about three weeks going back and forth between them and RMATV. Finally got my money back. OnTrac has a pretty lousy rep, but they still use them. Nothing against RMATV, though. Wish they would stop using OnTrac.
You should buy my bike an flip it I did put new parts on head piston carb just needs finishing touches to look great I want to get a grom if a yz450 is something you would be interested in flipping let me know I’ll make you an amazing deal as I’m looking to put the money towards a grom

How do you like that yz
The man’s so smooth when it comes to flipping bikes. He knows every little tip and trick in the book! Nice work KP love the videos! Peace bro

Thank you I was about to say the same thing I took mine off like that then saw it oh dam was I happy I didn’t have to put it on like that
The harbor freight O-ring kit has been a massive life saver for me when it comes to working in just about anything.

Awesome breakdown, love the transparency for time, cost, and also the little mistakes… damn air filter!!!
Love seeing these videos. A true breakdown on cost, with time and gas taken into account. Awesome turn around on both bikes.
On the air filter you can slide out a tray which makes it a lot easier to put the air filter in.
Love this style video! So cool and hope you do more like it!!!!
Saving the world, two bikes at a time!!!! Thanks for sharing

You must be in Phoenix...
same here in oklahoma. asking as much as a new one for a 2010. its ridiculous.
Same in California.
Would like more videos like this. I don’t care for 110cc models but 125cc,150cc,and 225cc are interesting to see redone. Keep up the good videos!
He's back with another upload!! Woot woot!!!!!!

Try backing off the allen bolt at the bottom before any disassembly, the spring tension helps to not have to make any spexial tools! Nice vids 👌

Ahhh the old rag air filter. Can’t beat that kind of performance.
I have a 2007 ttr125 I’ve absolutely beat on it just about every day for the last 3 years and it still runs great.

Soo sickkkk🦇ttr were roaring bro
Really like these flip videos
Ploy twist: he only did this to afford parts for his blown up 200. Lol
I think those bikes were jetted very lean from the factory. Bigger pilots seemed to help them.
Ttr air filter has a slide, pull it out, put air filter on ...slide it back in. I found out the hard way too😂
i have a question i am trying to buy a ttr125 for about 1,7k canadian but ppl put a 2001 one for like 3k any tips on getting it cheeper

ttr air filter... slide out cage, replace filter, slide cage back in. it's about 30 seconds :-)

nice im possibly getting a ttr 125 just to learn clutch then i wanna get a crf150f or rb
2200 dollars for a 2007?! I could buy a 2016 plus for that much here!
Yo I’m pretty sure that air filter should be on a slide you can pull out! My 2011 has one. I fought the same thing lol
12:45 hahahah
A nice little profit.
But best of all. You saved two dirt bikes that were in danger of becoming scrap soon.
im wearing that hoodie right now
Rag as an air filter😲, at least it looked clean tho😅✌🏻
😂 hey that whole plastic assembly the air filter mounts on to slides out

ttr 125 was my first bike and then a year later jumped to a 450😂 i ride my 450 like a 125 and ride my 125 like it was a 450. miss that little thing
You could find these for $600-800 some years back. Now the clapped out ones go for $1200-1400.
