Had Bose headphones on while I watched the vid on a huge Mac display...your video and sound quality is so spot on it's scary good. The up close shots of you installing things, the sequence you use, the mic sound to include music and slight background noise, etc. is just super. It all carried across when going out to ride...what a great show!!!
What a score with the Hinson clutch!!!.those 02s are alot faster than people think and whole lot better than previous models those 02s are a very underrated bike!!
Bike turned out awesome KP, I swung a leg over an 01 about 15 years ago, OMG it definitely was a blast to ride. I've kinda kept an eye out for one ever since. We'll see!!
6:54 my heart dropped when i saw that c clip for the wrist pin almost fall into the bottom end😳😳 forgot to put a paper towel but you didnt forget to put one when assembling it back together😅👍🏾
Whoever touched the bike before you….PUT DOWN THE TOOLS AMD STEP AWAY 😂. I’m with ya…we all gotta learn somehow but some of the stuff like the slide spring retainer on the throttle housing is ridiculous! Clear negligence lol. Nice video man
love the videos man, i just recently got into dirt biking. I'm a semi mechanic and am looking to getting into working on bikes/atvs. Your videos are awesome and I learn a lot. Keep up the great work!

I got a '03 YZ250 for $300 since 3rd gear "skips". Have not yet torn into it but it starts and is in decent condition. Not sure why he let it go for just $300 but it was a saturday the weekend before payday and he seemed ready to go out on town so perhaps needed some beer money :P
Hey man i love your video’s, I want to give a tip. If you place a new bearing you can better use a socket of the same size as the outside ring of the bearing.
I just snagged a 2000 ktm exc 300 that was pretty neglected, it’s my first project but it was too good of a deal. It started up after a simple carb clean but I immediately took it apart to give it a proper clean and powder coating. Now I need to figure out why it’s not shifting, completely soft. I’m hoping it’s just re oiling the plates
He Kincade i was curious on my new kx250 it has a lot of top end but not much bottom end what tooth sprocket do you think I should get because it dies a lot when doing hill climbs I am just a young rider trying to learn some things
Hey Kincade I love your videos and I’ve been a fan for about a year and a half now you make some of the coolest bikes I’ve seen. I know you have worked on a couple rm125 and I wanted to know if you could help me at all. I’ve gone through the whole bike and rebuilt it, tightened every bolt to spec but I am still having issues with the top end power and my clutch still doesn’t initiate fully. I’ve rode my buddy’s yz125 recently and it has way more top end power and torque. I am just very stumped and I don’t know what to do because every video I watch says that rm125s are very fast and have good torque it might just me a skill issue but I can’t even pop my bike up in second gear with clutch, I just don’t understand what is wrong with it. If you have any tips please let me know or things that I could try to fix these problems 🙏
Oh boy, here we go.... Lol. Always a happy day when there's a new Kincaid video, but I might have to edit this comment after I've done watch the video.😂 ETA: As an honest person, I am always blown away by how disingenuous most sellers of used motorcycles are.
I‘d love to rebuild bikes like you do. Saw a Yz250 for sale but the seller said it would not go into first gear. What tools do I actualy need and which are nice to have but replaceble for tearing down the bottom end? I love your videos greetings from germany🤘
Hey kincade, I am 12 years old and I’m currently working on my 2007 kx100. I am trying to find the right parts for a good price. I need a new chain, new hardware and a new silencer at the least. I am looking for some suggestions for where I should look. I was wondering if you had any suggestions.
How much total do you have invested in the rebuild (excluding the $1200)? I'd like to do the same thing to my 03 KX250 this spring (except I paid $500 for mine).
In terms of "must have" items to get the bike back up and running reliably, I spent around $400. Just about everything else was covered by sponsorships. If I was doing this with no help and on a budget, I could've had this thing running reliably all in for around $1700 including bike cost. As for total with everything shown in this video, probably around $3200 including bike cost.
@@KincadePavich Mine needs a top (with possibly a 265 big bore kit) and bottom rebuild, and probably a carb rebuild as well. Bleed/flush brakes, and at the very least, ensure the forks and shock are dialed in and sealed. I'm hoping I can be out no more than $2K, esp if I do the work myself.
@ if you hammer one side in at a time you risk damaging the bearings and also having the bearing not seal completely flush. You can get a Maddox bearing race and seal kit at Harbor freight for like 40 bucks. That way you can tap your bearings in completely flush without damaging them whatsoever. They will also be a change in tone when you completely finish installing the bearing letting you know it’s completely down and its slot. Otherwise, love the content.
Excellent work! May i ask something irrelevant? I've noticed that you are wearing eye glasses,so what's youre solution while riding....otg goggles, contact lenses or something else?

What an awesome comment. Thanks for the feedback, made my morning. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching!
Sunday morning breakfast and coffee with a new Kincade build! All is right with the world!
What’s for breakfast?
Glad to see you show this bike some love and give it the second wind needed to keep haunting the trails, Kincade. Lovely overhaul, as always, brother!

Am I going crazy or did I watch this video a while ago??
@@AngryyBeaverr haha you’re not going crazy! I always do a start-to-finish video that ties an entire series into 1 single video.

@@KincadePavich Why post a whole series and then repost it all into 1 video? Just post the 1 long video and start the next build video 🤷♂️
