    My tips for loosing weight
    1.Drink 2 litres of water a day
    2.Eat lots of veggies and fruits
    3.Eat less sugar
    4.Got to the gym/workout
    5.Don't count calories
    ^^All of these things made my skin really clear and glowy!!!!

      The last one is . . . just wrong.
      You're supposed to cut sugary drinks and foods, watch your carbs, eat a protein filled diet (specifically breakfast). Work out, count the calories you consume and the calories that you burn, (burning more calories than you consume is how weight loss occurs), drink a ton of water, get the recommended amount of sleep every night, don't skip meals, etc.
      You're supposed to count your calories unless you develop an obsession with the calories you consume.

      @@Gibblygobbler thats to much water...your body can hold a certain amount of water at a time but if you have some type of issue with your water in your body its fine and dont drink more than 1 litre of water in 1 hour

    Just a little tip to everyone don’t stress about the calories in food, instead go for the things that have reduced sugar or saturated fat. It’s quite common for healthy options to have more calories than the unhealthy options. There is a recommendation of calories for a reason, staying fit and healthy is about giving your body the right nutrients. If you try too hard to cut calories you’re going to find that you’re really bloated and your immune system will be weakened as your body is fighting for nutrients. No hate on Katie but she’s going on a lot about cutting carbs but ‘eating well’ is about balancing the food groups, not eliminating them completely.

      Katie Betzing the problem is, if you cut out certain food groups for weight loss, won't you possibly gain the weight back when you eat normally again? Have you managed to keep the weight off? I want to know if it's sustainable and if I could try it

    This was my routine when I was anorexic and those advices for feeling full, were my daily life. Cutting carbs is NOT THE WAY. Actually your BRAIN needs carbs. Yes for a couple of weeks maybe, but not in the long run. Eating like this in the long run leads to malnutrition, fainting, losing your hair, cavities, weak nails, hormonal disbalances, depression and you actually lose muscle. Even if you work out, your body will end up taking calories from that. So a healthy diet is a diet in which you are able to eat form any food group, in good portions. The work out advice is great though. Work out to release stress and feel good. But if you work out, you do need to eat after or even before, small portions to not faint if you are dieting. And if you burn a bunch of calories, you need to EAT ACCORDINGLY, NOT fast food, but actual food. And when doing cardio actually carbs are quite necessary. So.

      If you do it the right way it will work perfectly fine. Yes you need carbs. But as long as you eat full foods and get your fats and protein carbs isn’t super important anymore. And yes I am with you when it comes to that the brain need carbs and stuff. But that doesn’t mean that what Katie is doing is wrong. She has control and is perfectly fine still. I’m watching this from 2020 and have followed her channel for a long ass time. If you stress yourself or just cut out very much food that is when it starts getting bad. But she just cut out a lil bit carbs and ate more fats and protein. You can’t get anorexia from cutting carbs, you get it when you start eating way to little

      I'm a college student who works out 6 days a week and I have an after school nanny job every day. Basically, just wake up like two or three hours earlier. I find weird times to work on my homework during the day and the finish the rest when I get home from work so I can make it to bed by 10!

    For anyone watching. If you’re trying to lose weight and keep it off, aim for 1-2lbs a week. Otherwise you’ll probably gain it back. I’ve done both intermittent fasting and eating breakfast. For me eating breakfast works better because I do 1g per lb of protein to gain or keep muscle and if I don’t it’s hard for me to get in protein. In my opinion you should not completely cutout any macro (carbs, fat, protein). The no refined sugar is a great idea though. Also definitely weightlifting. Better to weightlift than cardio. I still do cardio but about 20 min a day my weightlifting is 30min -1 hour. The more muscle you gain the more calories you burn and you still look thinner. I’m doing 120c,157c,50f.

      Carbs do not go to your stomach. If you have an excess of any calories it goes to where you store fat. Some people do better higher carbs low fat. Some people do better high fat low carbs. I do better high carbs lower fat because I love my fruit.

      I sorta of agree, I can understand not wanting to have refined sugars, but carbs and dairy are good for you. Besides, even fruits and vegetables have carbs in them. And milk helps bone growth I'm pretty sure. Yeah, though I'm not recovering from an eating disorder(that must be hard, I'm sorry) I've delt with body positivity issues before, and still do, but I've realized that my goal is to be muscular and my best self, and in order to do that, I have to eat carbs and dairy. But yeah, overall, I agree with you. Sorry this was so long..

      The Story Of Emma i’m actually allergic to gluten, dairy, refined sugars, all grains except for quinoa and millet, soy, eggs, peanuts, and corn, but i’m perfectly healthy :) cutting calories is not good unless you’re extremely overweight, so i get a lot of calories from greens, small servings of fresh fruit, lean meats, and small snacks like carrots, cashews, and chickpeas. there are also sooo many paleo, vegan, carb-free, etc. recipes that don’t cut calories! i don’t know if this is helpful but i’m 16 and 119 lbs with a good bit of muscle mass so i don’t believe i’m overweight or underweight :) working out is also a healthy habit to get into not only to lose weight but to just better yourself in general. you shouldn’t make assumptions about people’s diets until you see exactly what they eat, and although some of katie’s habits aren’t super healthy, it’s not okay to bash people. have a great day though, love! 😚

    A little thing to lose weight is not to skip foods/lunches because, it is proven scientifically, that skipping foods makes u overweighed, not skinnier. I hope u had a good time reading & trying this. Nice☺️

    I usually don't comment on videos, but after watching all of this, I felt pretty compelled to do so. Your "advice" for losing weight is pretty irresponsible considering that your fan base is nearly 800K young girls who look up to you and believe what you're saying. Your "diet tips" are based on very very restrictive guidelines and it's hard for me to believe that any TH-camr would be prescribing this type of restrictive diet based on no carbs and extremely low calories to their viewers without any research backing up their statements. As a young female adult, your calories shouldn't drop below 1200 calories...ever. The diet you recommend for losing weight probably oscillates between 800-1100 calories; in addition, you claim to be doing BBG workouts and running up to 6 miles. There is no way anyone can sustain this diet on a long-term basis considering the lack of calories to sustain essential bodily functions and physical activity. I'm not trying to hate, but please do research the next time you use your platform to influence others' lives. This type of video and the information you're spreading is reckless, irresponsible, and could be the cause of the development of eating disorders for several of your young viewers.

    These videos are what started my eating disorder and I don't think they should even be up. Healthy methods or not, young girls shouldn't get the ideas of weight loss to make them feel better about yourself. Self love comes from within. Build in silence my love.

    Breakfast it’s acutely the most important meal in the day. So important for the concentration and to get enough energy through the day . So you should eat more than just a apple and coffee! But love your video ❤️

    its so frustrating seeing people comment things like "you need carbs" she never said you dont need carbs, you do but you can get them in other foods like sweet potato, yeah theyre prob not as good as bread but thats what shes trying to say.

    Basically you can loose weight by eating less carbs, but it’s not sustainable. Your body does need carbs as carbs is your body’s preferred food source. Clearly it’s healthier to get carbs from whole foods like potatoes, carrots, apples ect, rather than bread , pasta and things like that. BUT of course you can still eat pasta and bread (multigrain bread).

    Take away tips
    1. Workout incorporate cardio
    2, cut sugar
    3. Cut back on dairy
    4. Eat 10-7pm or a eating window that works for you ,,
    5. Have some healthy snacks on hand ( skinny pop, halo top)
    6. Coffee & tea, water stay hydrated
    7. Salad salad salad , carbs from fruit & veggies
    8. Set short term goals with a non food reward
    9. Add soups in diet

    A tip when your making stir fry is to swap the olive oil for coconut oil. It works just as well!!

      Lynette Kock it does but olive oil actually isn’t bad for you! Coconut oil and olive oil have healthy fats in them so the swap should be based off personal preference.

    You are a really lovely person, but I have to say, this video is irresponsible. Do NOT cut out carbs!! It's very dangerous. Carbs are the ONLY kind of energy your brain can use. It can't work properly with only fat or protein and can cause major damages. "Carbs go all to your stomach" that is the biggest bs I ever heard. Your stomach doesnt "care" if you eat carbs, fats or protein. It's all about a healthy diet without trying to lose weight "fast". That is just set up for failure.
    And that calorie obesession is also a big trigger for eating disorders. Pls be careful about topics like this.
    I'm not trying to hate, but please do your research next time, before putting up a video like this.
    I'm hoping for you, that your viewers don't get triggered.

      Jaymer you are so right! Ugh, these videos are so frustrating! Carbs do not make you fat! They provide fiber which keeps you full and improves gut health! When she said "Carbs go to your stomach" it clearly says she needs to relearn nutrition again. Carbs are good for you, and yes you can eat carbs and lose weight! Like oatmeal, quinoa, lentils, beans, and FRUIT. She said in one video to not snack on fruit because it has a lot of sugar. That's more BS advice. Don't listen to it. Fruit sugar and added sugars are much different. Anyway I hope no one falls for this advice.
