This is Alex's first time watching Dragon ball Z. Bryan has the seen show and will be joining the journey with Alex to get his reaction!
Dragon Ball Z is about a man named Goku that lives on earth and finds out he came from a different planet and doesn't know how powerful he is until villains from other planets come along.

this is vegetas original voice and it doesnt change from here it only gets deeper. his voice acting imo is perfect in a couple seasons from now
vegetas voice acting in the buu saga is peak. shit is amazing!! this sage was amazing too. It always changes as they age
I wonder if Bryan was talking about how Sabat started off trying to emulate some of Brian Drummond's Vegeta, but eased up on it after a while?
The translation in the scene with Piccolo was EXTREMELY rough. LoL
Basically piccolo got hit on purpose, to avoid an all out bout with Android 20, get up, and rescue Goku, but stayed down as he sensed Vegeta's approach.
This shows Piccolo's ability to plan on the spot and the complete lack of Battle experience on part of the androids.
Piccolo then berated Gohan for thinking Android 20's "pathetic attack" could take him out. 🙁😔

"He did it with no emotional damage" No, just a different kind. He didn't lose someone he cared for, but gave up on his ideals and pride which were the only things holding him together. Vegeta's pride means more to him than anything so for him to mean it when he said "No more, I don't care" drove him over the edge.

@@theABTV_ It's interesting in that Vegeta's pride is simultaneously his greatest strength and his biggest weakness. It's often what screws him over in a fight, but at the same time it's also what keeps pushing him to keep getting back up to continue the fight. Without his pride, Vegeta wouldn't be....well, Vegeta.
Vegeta is nothing but emotional damage.
If you guys still didn’t really comprehend vegetas story. His rage is similars to goku, but what made vegeta transform was the fact that he lost his pride as a saiyan prince which was his snapping point and when he transformed he gained his confidence again

Vegeta is my fav character, so naturally I was sooooo hyped when this episode came up and he finally was able to turn super Saiyan, I wasn't expecting it to be so soon

fantastic reaction video I'll explain the Vegeta voice change basically during the original airing of dbz Chris sabat (Voice of current Vegeta) was told to imitate the voice of the previous Vegeta (Brian Drummond) this resulted in a very bad performance for the saiyan and Freeza arcs however for the other arcs it starts to settle more and in the Buu arc Chris finally makes Vegeta his own voice and not the voice of Ocean Vegeta (Brian Drummond) so a remaster happened for the first 2 arcs allowing Chris to redo all his lines making Vegeta sound more like Vegeta that's basically the voice change explained and that's way the voice sounds a bit different in Android saga since they kept it from original airing and remastered the first 2 arcs only

yeah this was Vegeta's old voice for when Funi first came in
but later on down the road, the remastered version came out where the VAs redid only the entire Saiyan and Namek Saga
except for Sean for some reason where his original acting was there from episode 65 onwards
yes i think his original voice for vegeta is much better than his revoiced versions and it quite literally developed over time. his voice is deep as hell towards the end of dbz

Is it early today ?? Well anyway I love it as always will and yes vegita's voice actor changes but I guess the voice actor adjusts his voice to give him more deep and grainy voice .
youre confused, this isnt brian drummond, theyve been watching the funimation dub this whole time. chris sabat just experimented with a different voice this arc for some reason.
@@oogaboogie Chris Sabat actually didn't experiment. In the broadcast version of DBZ Vegeta has this exact voice in the Namek arc recorded around 1999. He recorded the Namek arc around 2005 because he wanted to do a better job. That's why the voice sounds different then the Namek/Frieza arc, Sabat was way more seasoned at that time.

vegeta's first time super saiyan is not as impressive as goku's
but his yellow color + this combat suit in this period is his best image in DBZ
this appearance was been so well designed , it become vegta's iconic form in a lot of video games and toys
and the looking of vegeta and goku turn super saiyan in their own outfits are just on point of the 2 best looking styles
so people like this 2 charaters' super saiyan form both
if there is just always goku's super saiyan , can really get tired soon

I'm a bit late but major plot hole here. If goku died in the future before the androids came then why didn't they wish him back right after? Kami was still alive then.

Guru came back after dying of old age & sickness and died again soon after
Chris Sabat is still the voice actor for Vegeta so I don't get why you mentioned his voice

@@theABTV_ At the time this was being aired, the funimation voice actors (that most of us are familiar with) were encouraged to imitate the original english voice actors (Ocean dub)
Hence we get Sabat 'experimenting

So we are best friends, but unfortunately we don't live together, we both live with our families so we don't always get to meet up and record but we try out best, but trust me if we lived together there would have been more dbz content
The fact is that Vegeta's Latent power is actually higher than Goku....The fact that Vegeta doesn't rest and meditate in order to control his spirit is the issue....You find that out way later when Vegeta also learns a technique.....spoiler spoiler....Wait and see in Dragonball super. Tbh it hasn't been animated yet.
