Summer months great up there, i was originally from wilsden so did the other half and harden moor but now live in otley so ilkley side local to me. Great video and channel too.
Yeah, way better in summer, challenging conditions on this day for sure 👍 I lived in Bingley for five years so also spent more time riding around there ; Gilstead Brow, Shipley Glen, Cottingley Woods, Deepcliff Woods, Harden Moor, St Ives was my usual loop. There’s arguably better stuff around Bingley than Ilkley if you go a bit cheeky 👍
Thanks mate. I really like Ilkley Moor, way more there than people expect there to be. I wasn’t sure the others were convinced when I suggested it but they all want to go back. When it’s drier. 😂
I'm sure it is a good jacket; you prattled on about how good it was for long enough 😂 Bloody ace day; wouldn't want to ride trails that slippy all the time but wouldn't have had it any other way on that day 👍
I had a feeling that we had. To be honest, if it wasn't for Connor going ahead to explore on his eBike, we wouldn't have found one of those that we did ride. I did mention on the day that we should have given you a shout, we definitely will do for the return journey 👍
Great riding mate! Really interesting to see another new location. Conditions looked super tricky in places. The sort of day where not ending up on your arse at one point is a real achievement!
Thanks mate, the slippy trails really made this a fun and interesting one. It should have been horrendous (not being able to steer properly, etc) but it was just fantastic; I reckon that you learn a fair bit about bike control by riding when it's grotty.
Can't beat a bit of sloppy Moor riding. Did a bit of it over the Christmas hols and absolutely loved it. A great location this one, looked loads of fun. A few getting over the steep bit as well 👊 brilliant vid mate. 👍
Totally mate, it's way more fun than it should be. That steep bit was proper intimidating, not because of the steepness (although it is, damned steep) but because it was as loose as hell and covered with big roots 😃👍
Hi, great vid 👍 please can you tell me the best route to the top before you start your descents? Maybe using the pub as a starting point (cow and calf). Thanks in advance
What a great way to start the New Year mate …..you certainly found some slippery, challenging trails . Good job Christian has got a good coat 😂. When I saw your thumbnail mentioning Ilkley Moor…..I was desperate for you to break into a rendition of Ilkley Moor Bar Tat ! like your Grandad did ……your new subscriptions would have been off the scale 👍
It really was mate, especially as it was quite different to anything else we have ridden in a long time. I had Ilkley Moor Baht' at stuck in my head all day 😂
Cheers mate and yeah, it was one hell of a ride. I can't wait to go back when it's drier as I bet it's just incredible (although maybe not quite as funny 😂)
Really looks a magic place to ride, though not so much in the slippy sloppy madness shown here 🤣 still loads of fun and challenges! "Claggy", is there a more accurately descriptive word in the English language? I think not 🤣
Sorry mate, totally missed your comment. Ilkley really is fantastic, loads of great trails to go at and yeah, a bit claggy on this day but they were still a ton of fun. You’re coming next time 😀👍
Great video, buddy. It looks fucking slippery and always a laugh at the start. Great work and thanks for sharing. It was fun to watch. Ride on and have a nice day
Interesting ride to say the least mate. The sort of place where my crashes were more fun rather than painfull.Which is a bonus.good little ride out.The scary bit was a bit of a bum tightener though!😱
It certainly was interesting, surprisingly fun riding something so damned slippery. I can't believe I missed filming your second crash, thought I was going to give myself a hernia I was laughing that much 😂
I really want to get my trike up onto Ilkley moor. So much to explore. On much better, dryer trails than those tho. I enjoyed your video but a trike can't do what you are doing there

another great video bro! with some pretty steep section! keep doing great stuff man!

It is a good jacket I will have you know 🤣 was a bloody great day out this, proper loved it for just how silly it got and the slippy fun 🤣

Missed some of the best trails fella, give me a shout in early summer and I'll show you round.

Just skimmed through it again, you didn't do too bad actually. Could you you another few of course.
@@dspink We're relying on it mate. Also, would be great to finally get to ride with you 👍

Thanks, was one fun but sloppy day.
We parked up by the Cow and Calf and rode up from there. We also climbed up from the cafe a couple of times
@@Stopadoodledoo nice one thanks 👍

What a crazy way to start 2022 haha, that first steep roll was truly terrifying 😂 great video mate 😃👍

Thanks mate, this one really was a fun one, sliding down the hills out of control most of the time 😃👍
Looks like a great spot, despite the time of year
It's fantastic mate, really worth a visit 👍
Nice work
Thanks mate. I'll be sure to give you a shout when I (we) make a return journey when the conditions are a bit more 'normal' 😃👍
@@Stopadoodledoo let's have it!
You lot and slippy all go in the same sentence 🤣🤣 good riding pal 👍🏻✌🏻
Thanks mate and you're right, we do seem to have ridden a lot of slippy places recently 😂
@@Stopadoodledoo all good fun tho mate, makes for a good vid too

It would definitely add an element of challenge to ride it on a trike 😃👍
We love a bit of wet and sloppy. 👍
It was quality mate. Silly, but quality.
Took ages to get the bike clean 😃
Looks ok for a mess about.
Really is mate and apparently there's loads we didn't find 👍
