- The best feature of the new Ruger made Marlin 1895 Trapper 45-70 is… being able to unload it without cycling rounds through the action!
This is a huge improvement to the older models and makes unloading much safer! - บันเทิง
Omg finally.
We need this on every shotgun even though it's satisfying to rack it a bunch
What do you mean finally? Only took em 127 years
Bud.... that's a rifle.
What kind of shotguns are you using??
Just unscrew the tube
a large amount of shotguns nowdays do have the ability to rapidly unload shells without cycling the action
To everyone saying “my older Marlin/Winchester/etc” can do this too, yes you may be able to get it to do this, but it was not designed from the outset to, and not all old 336’s/1895’s/94’s etc will do this without significant difficulty. The new Ruger made Marlins were designed from the start to be able to unload easily like this and have design changes to allow it.
The only real difference here seems to be the spring weight of the loading gate, if you have one of the older Marlins, just get a featherweight loading gate from ranger point, and you'll have the same functionality. You technically could also tune the spring of the stock one to give you a lighter gate. It's just more fun to rack the lever in my opinion though.
Not needing to REALLY work to operate the feed gate is fantastic now too. The old Model 94 Winchesters always had feed gate and feed tube springs that were WAY stronger than necessary, meaning that without modification I always had to use an extra cartridge to finish loading it to avoid getting my thumb bitten and to save my finger strength in the cold. I always hated that part.
Until my brother bought my dad an old 70's/80's Marlin that already had some proper work done to it, I didn't even know that old lever guns weren't all actually a pain in the ass (and thumb) to load, and I immediately got to work improving my 30-30 Model 94. I love it now. Seeing that old one set up right saved that 30-30 for me. It was my favorite brush gun for pushing deer, but I was ready to transition to a more traditional bolt action out of frustration until I did the work and fell in love again. Nothing better out in thick brush or long trails than a lever gun in my opinion. They are the perfect backwoods gun, never been beaten, it makes total sense how it became the weapon that tamed the west, it was the perfect gun for the job.
They really don't though. Watched another video where some you could sort of do it if you used your fingernails to pry but a bunch of them you were SOL
drink speed cola

(If there’s a random countdown timer on the webpage disregard it, I’m trying to remove it…)
Aurther Morgan: welp its robbing time again
It looks so pretty 😍😊
I'm looking at getting one. I don't work in the Marlin factory but I've been excited for this one since R&D mentioned a new 1895
Every time I see a marlin I think of Bobby Hill from king of the hill where Cotton gifts Bobby a rifle and cotton uses it to blast open the pinata.
Peggy: "Cotton you gave him a loaded shotgun ?"
Cotton : Well you don't give a toy without batteries . Hahaha
I had to go watch that again lmao.
That is awesome
I feel that this should have been a feature long ago, but also I get why it is a relatively new thing.
Still, absolutely genius. Even from a dude who knows very little about guns I can see why this is good for the gun. It eases the wear and tear.
That is actually pretty f*cking cool!
Love lever actions! They are coming out with a lower for an AR15 that makes it a lever action. Personally I wouldn't buy a lever action for a gun that's supposed to be semiauto. But you can if you want!
Good for jurisdictions where semi-autos are restricted, eg most of the world
@@singularkakapo if you’re not allowed to have a semi auto lower anyways a lever action ar is fucking stupid. Just get a real one, you’ll have a better gun for cheaper.
Thanks for video, it allows alot of us to enjoy it vicariously. 😆🤔😭
I've always been able to do this regardless of what lever gun I've had
BEUTIFUL
I'm more impressed with how easily that tube loads. I've loaded enough Model 1894 Winchesters in my life to know how impressive that is. When I hunted with an old 30-30 lever Model 94 I took to carrying an extra few cartridges with me specifically so I could use an extra cartridge to push the last cartridge into the tube without the feed gate biting my thumb or having to really shove my thumb so hard at it that it would hurt sometimes lol. When I needed to unload it without cycling it I would sometimes just remove the tube cap and spring, but that's a completely different kind of pain.
That’s a good point too!
Wonderful gate feature also its preeeeetty
Exactly. What he said.
Now it just needs a reliable way to fast load with a tube like clip.
no different than the 336S 35 marlin.😊👍
i wonder if my 336C would do it... never thought to try until now. 🤔
it does work with mine, just a little difficult when it's cold.
dude that's nice
Beautiful look.
Bro it’s like loading a pump shotgun but without the slug
Didn't know this wasn't standard
marlin ❤️❤️👍👍
Another outstanding video and summary. Thank you for so eloquently depicting the frustration, annoyance and despair that so many of us are left feeling by the appalling behaviour of Harry. And his wife.
It's my dream gun
Cannot wait for the 1894
I can’t believe some people prefer the Henry tube.
They have a side gate....
That is a nice feature.
I rly want one of these!
My favourite part of the gun is that it’s LITERALLY rated for being able to kill a T-rex
Dam I need one now 😂🤠
That's great.
It looks a lot easier to load too.
It is, the gate isn’t nearly as stiff.
Never had this problem. I usually unload my firearms by pulling the trigger.
Nice
That’s cool
Leave it to Ruger to make the best Marlins in 50 years!
god DAMN
Poor Canada, they can’t even look in the direction of this beauty without getting a fine.
But cycling the action is the beat part…
I don’t disagree 🤠
you know thay a sneaky man could steal all your ammo right
Nice I finally know witch Winchester is in mw2
No that's a Marlin or Henry design lever gun.
Nice but I don’t like the grey wood.😊
I can do that with my 336 made in 94.....
I can do this with my 94 made in336
Brave using ballistic tip ammo in a tube fed rifle.
🤔 interesting
Daym
Get a Henry for similar features.
It is beautiful 😭😭😭🤩🤩
The new 1895
I can do the same with my original marlin trapper !
When did Ruger buy out Marlin?
Huh Ruger Marlin ?!
Where can I get one i cant find one
What's the feature that allows this? Can an older rifle be modified to do this?
I’m not 100% sure
No, they should force you to cycle that action, it's the best part about lever actions!
How sweet is that right there ...
I just did that with my remington made 1895cba 45-70. Not a new feature at all
45.70?
This reminds me of history books of Zulu wars British officer weapons were Colt saa of British elites is the Marlin 18
Can a feller hunt opossum wit it ✌️
I can do that with all three of my lever actions and only one of them is a marlin
Was he just backwarding time? As making unloading shell...
Just like my pump action shotgun
That new feature is like 125 years old
Shhh.. don’t ruin his moment
16.ba
😅😅😅 Eu tenho uma em casa,
You can unload all of them by shooting it
Я так постоянно делаю
The Henry is a better rifle.
Good luck finding ammo
Using the lever to unload it is wayyy more fun, and faster arguably.
Henry Is a much better rifle.
Not sure I like that. Feel like if the door gets some dirt holding it open it's gonna puke all the rounds out.
c'est en Ukraine ?
No way in he'll is that helping one little push ur dropping rounds all in ur side saddle keep it old school if it ain't broke don't fix it
and this is new? the old Winchester 94 does same thing lol
Not all of them
Beautiful rifle, but no way I’m doing $4 per round.
Mmmmmmm
That thar is a purty rifle 👍
Best feature?
Ok
You can do that on the Marlin 30 30 gold trigger.
AaAaAaAAaaAaaAa
What until this guy finds out about Henry.
I know all about Henry’s and think they’re ugly.
@@masonleather what do you think is ugly about them. Just the lines the firearm takes or colors available or what?
Eh cycling it is easier
This is not a new feature, been doing this with lever actions for a very long time...
You can do that with pretty much every lever gun lol, I do it all the time with my 1915 Winchester model 94
You can do that to all lever guns..... come on people
Most people don't know that this feature was first proposed by Albert Einstein.
That's a downgrade man
marlins always did that.....
that’s the lockwood
That's honestly kinda amazing
I agree!
Henry with their new combo of trapdoors and tube feed is better.
But Henry’s are ugly
@@masonleather WHAT THE F DID YOU JUST SAY
Yeah, you won't need to any of that if you buy one of the AR 10 in 450 Marlin, so you have magazines for 450 Marlin / KAK Industries sells the AR 10 in 450 Marlin
"new" 1895
azing
Try n find one.... Ruger would sell more if they got off their ass n got them out to ffl dealers!
They’re making them as fast as they can while maintaining high quality
wow
