    This is gonna be a fun build! Just let the rear tire traction be the weakest link in your driveline and you should be fine. Those headers are going to be interesting might have to show some of your tig welding skills. Whatever you do it’ll be one sweet custom C10.

    Wish I would have found this a little sooner, it would have saved me a fair bit of time figuring out transmissions. We pretty much came to the same conclusion though so that is interesting. I am planning on grabbing a few different manuals and comparing them. Starting with the AX15, NV3500, NV3550 (If I can find one) and of course the AR5. Interesting about the flywheel, I used one for the earlier Hemi, Luk LFW249 which allowed me to bolt the 11inch clutch from a 2002 Dakota. Have not tried bolting it all together yet so might not work...lol, plus need to figure out a starter if it does. At any rate very much enjoy the content and look forward watching the build!

    • @ReignitedAuto
      @ReignitedAuto  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is a serious lack of information out there that's for sure! I did find out after the fact that supposedly the older 5.9 bellhousings will bolt up as well, only 1 or two bolts won't line up, but I haven't been able to confirm that myself. I'm still skeptical about the clutch holding the power of the 6.4 engine. I do know that the 11" clutch from a Dakota will not work in the AR5 bellhousing, it's too big.

    • @MongrelsGarage
      @MongrelsGarage 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ReignitedAuto Completely agree on the lack of information, but that is half the fun, finding out what works and what doesn’t. Yes I believe you’re correct about the 5.9, I think it’s just the top centre bolt is not used on the Hemi’s but have yet to confirm that. Good to know about the 11 inch clutch, I will keep that in mind, right now I am using the NV3500 so it should be okay.

  • @whattheduck4644
    @whattheduck4644 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I know you're already done with the build. but, have you tried finding an aftermarket bellhousing for the tremec T56 that will fit the hemi? or possibly adapting the tr6060 bellhousing for the challenger to the T56? At some point I will be building something with a hemi and a 6 speed and if I can find a T56 cheap enough I plan on trying that route.

    Great tip on how to remove broken stud that is flush with the head. How do I access your video on the lifter roller problem, I've been told that I have a misfire Code P0302 on cylinder #2. Does this mean I need a new engine rebuild or could the misfire code be attributed to something else ie: spark plug, wire etc.

    • @ReignitedAuto

But at the end of the day, it's your build, your time and money involved. So I believe you have the right to do whatever you damn well please! With this build, there shouldn't be an issue whatsoever... Nice build, it turned out great.
