I went with just leveling mine out.
Going to do 2 inch front with the Bilstein 6100s 1 inch rear Readylift blocks with Bilstein 5160 gonna add new springs to the struts no reusing. Going to also add Dirt King upper arms and likely EBC front brake set. In the future I'd like to add a DC Power 270 amp alternator.

How did you get the lower control arm bolts out?I’m currently doing the same lift kit install. Did you paint your frame? I was going to ask about the upper control arms too but I see you covered that. They really make the lift stand out more 👍🏽

Did you have to buy longer brake hoses or lines? Or does the bracket they give you for the brake hose make the brake hose not so tight?

Can I use my current Icon coilovers with this lift kit? I plan to have them rebuilt while I have the truck taken apart.

So putting a 6 inch lift kit we have to change the brake line?

My only question is what made you choose Rough Country over Pro Comp. My reason for asking, is that I'm planning to put a Titan drop bracket and spindles on my 2011 Xterra Pro-4X (Titan Swap}. For Frontiers and Xterras, people Swap their front IFS for Titan IFS, because the frames are identical. The Pro Comp lift is no longer available from Pro Comp, but I can get it off eBay. My understanding is that the Pro Comp lift is directly bolt-on with no cutting. I believe the RC drop bracket is a bit beefier. I'd prefer to not have to cut one of the cross members under the transmission. I saw the Rough Country installed on a Frontier (the Frontier kit, not the Titan kit - different spindles). During the install they cut one of the X cross members under the transmission, in order to make room for the front drive shaft. If the Pro Comp doesn't require this, that's a better option for me.

If you have the money go with ProComp it is a better kit imo. Make sure the ProComp kit is complete if you decide to buy it from e-bay.

@@anthony03241980 thanks. There's a guy named PRG Greg who is the guru on Nissan lifts and off-road mods. He put the Titan Pro Comp lift on his wife's 2005 MT Xterra. He used different spindles and shocks to get more travel (custom spindles). I'll probably use the spindles that come with the kit. Obviously I have to modify the rear leaf spring suspension on my own, because the Xterra is spring under axle. I'll then have to get Titan wheels and brakes, because the Titan hub is different than the Xterra and Frontier. It gets expensive. However, they're OEM parts. The Titan brakes are bigger, which will be better for larger, heavier wheels. The Titan wheel bolt pattern is also much more standard than the Xterra and Frontier, with far more aftermarket options. I may send more money on brakes, but I'll probably save that money on new rims.

@@anthony03241980 I still haven't found any pictures of how the front drive shaft gets to the lowered front differential, without requiring the cutting of one of those crossmembers. PRG Greg hasn't gotten back to me yet. It would be interesting to see the pictures of the installation. I know he rotates the front differential to be more in line with the drive shaft. That may be how he gets away without cutting.

I like your lift, but what is with the wheels? Is that for gas mileage? You're going to feel every bump in the road. I would have gone with a smaller wheel, and a higher sidewall tire. Even if it's a mall crawler, you don't want to risk breaking expensive wheels.
