- Many are raising concerns over the EU’s financial and military aid to Ukraine as Russia-friendly Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban takes helm of the EU’s presidency Monday. "Orban is certainly a pro-Putin guy, but he also knows that he needs the EU,” said Nicolas Tenzer, guest professor at Sciences Po Paris, adding that EU leaders have previously secured negotiation accession talks for Ukraine.

Orban is going to bring peace between Ukraine and Russia. He's a level-headed leader and doesn't like warmongering.

Those who claim Ukraine is winning this war are misguided; Ukraine cannot truly win, regardless of the outcome. Over 500,000 Ukrainians have died, and the number continues to rise daily. Young Ukrainian men are perishing, and women are displaced worldwide. The global community must unite to negotiate peace in Ukraine, as weapons alone will not end this conflict.

Because there is no mechanism for it. Same as there is no "legal" way to get Russia out of the UN security council, or fully seize Russia's assets. The world we live in, which we praise as rules-based (though one could question various actions of the USA over the years), we cannot just "do what we think is (morally?) right" violating those very rules.

Last NATO summit was in Europe all about making us Trump proof and these appointments show this. Trump cannot make a deal with Russia and will lose his techsector and the dollar. Without Europe there is no dollar dominance. They would need to pay their debt. Asia would be on Europe's side too because of Russia's alliance with North Korea.
