Is there any chance you might do a video on controlling physical pain? I have a neck injury with 3 degenerated disks and I'm struggling to meditate while sitting because the neck pain is so distracting.
Your Qigong instruction has been helping me hugely to overcome a lifetime of pain & disability, so thank you so much for that!

      Greetings from Canary Islands
I really appreciate to have the chance to get your knowledges.
I decided to heal my body and mind and change my energy through the attitude, thoughts and by learning Chi Kung, and then I know you. And I know It isn' t a random thing.
Thank you very much, It is a gift. I would like to go and visit the Temple some day.

Master Shi Heng Yi, thank you for opening up this knowledge and sharing your teachings! You speak of two breaths. One of these two breaths would seem to be most useful for the majority of Qi Gong practice. Would this be correct or do both breaths share equally in the process depending on the form? Also, could or should "direct" breath be used for our daily non Qi Gong waking activities? Head bowed, hands in prayer...

@goggles789 couldn't agree more. In a traditional Chinese master disciple relationship, food and board was expected for the master. Not sure where this whole "teaching free is the way of a true master" thing comes from but it seems pervasive

People who give nothing in exchange for teachings often don't tend to get as much out of them and usually have less appreciation and hence value for what is being taught, so there is actually some value in Master's charging something when the person has something to give.

Time does not heal all wounds:

The last part @ around 12:30 in to the video I remember doing that stance and when I was finished with the session I felt so much energy within me and my body felt light almost like as if you were floating best way for me to describe it, greatest feeling ever. Great experience in Thailand and to have an opportunity to converse with Shi Heng Yi. So happy to find the TH-cam Channel.

    • @eduardoayala3204
      @eduardoayala3204 4 ปีที่แล้ว +12

@Gold Shine You're obsessed with lies, friend.
You're going to see lies everywhere because they are in your eyes, in your ears, in your mind, in your heart.
The worst lies are the ones we tell ourselves, anyway.
If your concept of happiness depends on others telling you the 'truth', then our conversation has no foundation.
Internet conversations often have this nature.

I just love to listen to shifu shi heng yi, he brings me peace, every time I hear him he makes so much real sense. This master is an amazing person he gives so much to others. I could listen to you all day long, I wish one day I could have met you in real life, unfortunately we are an ocean away very difficult right now.
I have listened to many masters but you were the one that got my whole hearted attention and you have the best explanation, transforming negative information into positive in all aspects of life and you are very inviting and your gentle way of speaking can soothe the soul with your calmness. It is a great honour and pleasure to listen to you! I really enjoy and Love to see you every day!!

Love the surprising ending :-). Martial arts and Taiji are both inspired by nature and it's so nice to see that everything is in harmony all the way through the video. I like it that it's embracing both theory and practice, everyday life and monastic life. In China monastic lives are secret and it's very hard for ordinary people to access the ancient teachings. I feel very grateful that after 5 years of living in the west and just before I am ready to move back to China, I came across your free videos recently and get to understand the meanings behind those movements, not just the forms but also essence, which helps tremendously with practice and perseverance. Thank you!

This what the man said is the truth. Intent focused on ''feeling'' can start ''chi''. That is how I managed to change the movement of an ''object''. I felt how it moves, and then it moves....

Thank you Sifu Shi Heng Yi! Your teaching is clear and generous . I recently discovered by myself the direct breathing of deepening and ' compressing' the qi into my Dan Tian on the IN breath , and then ' locking' in the qi on the OUT breath. This video confirms that I am on the 'right path'. This is an important video for any practioner of qi gong.

Master Shi Heng Yi...🙏 A sincere great pleasure to see you again in this video ! And Speaking quite well and peacefully english, the language in which I can understand you, even if I'm French, living in France ! What a beautiful cat, an "old wise spirit" like you I guess...And others come at the very end, your "special public" (or masters ?) they are watching you with great attention !! 😊 I remain forever marked by this video with your "Chi" choreographic movements so noble, pure, powerful and splendid, supported by musical choices expressing such a deep soul, it is engraved in my memory : "13 Luohan Style Qi Gong", October 25, 2018 ... And today, I look forward to your beautiful, constant evolution on your Way of Life. I'm very glad for you !! You are guided, protected, inspired by your ancestors, your Masters on Earth and your Spiritual Masters...🙏 Astrid (Paris)

Oh! By the end of 15:00, I felt that! The energy is almost palpable; like the excitement of a child who knows they are going somewhere special. I guess that's a weird way to describe it; its...fulfilling both physically & emotionally

He says "you need to feel the changes of the body" and he's darn right. I am already feeling it with the other form of Qi Gong that is, Zhan Zhuang (standing like a tree).🙋‍♂️🙂
