All of the Atelier games are basically chill RPG's where you gather items to craft items to help people out and solve problems. Normally the fights aren't against world ending monsters, but sometimes there are larger threats that you are forced to deal with. Atelier Ryza mostly centers around Ryza and her friend's last summer together before adult life creeps in and forces them apart. I always felt like this song is more about Ryza getting over her fear of the future, the end of the adventure, and of her friends moving away than it was about fighting a world ending monster. The end segment of the song is basically her finally accepting that as long as they destroy the threat that life will go on. There will always be new opportunities, new friends, and more adventures.
As far as the composer goes Hayato Asano has done work for a few different Atelier games as well as several arrangement albums, but his stand outs are definitely Ryza 1 and 2 as well as Blue Reflection.
The GUST team itself has several different composers that have worked on all of the various soundtracks. Sometimes several composers will work on a single album so its generally hard to tell who has composed what without looking it up. They are definitely proud of their music and feature it prominently in all of their games. All of the recent games have a music select feature and they normally include a DLC that includes all of their previous music from the series that you are able to listen to whenever you want. As of Ryza 3 they are including more than 400 songs in that DLC from games ranging from the PS1 era all the way to the latest release.

Despite how intense this song is, the game is super chill and relaxing.

Atelier has had many composers. Some mainstays, some guest composers, but one thing always stays consistent: the music is amazing.

You can really hear Blue Reflection in this song.

The Atelier music is... 60% what you'd expect of a crafting-focused RPG soundtrack done very well, 10% total earworms that would just randomly play in your head forever, and then... The remaining 30% are "this makes sense in context, believe me" insane masterpieces.

2:24 At this minute you hear the melody of the ending theme game called Crocus, this song is in English and has a beautiful lyric

The Atelier series is quite a long-running series.
So far there have been 24 main-series games released since the first, Atelier Marie, for the PS1 in 1997 (JP only).
In general, the series runs in trilogies, or sometimes duologies or quadrilogies. They are connected games, but only within the same series. For example, the "Arland" series is Ateliers Rorona (The Alchemist of Arland), Atelier Totori (The Adventurer of Arland), Atelier Meruru (The Apprentice of Arland), and much later they added a fourth game, Atelier Lulua (The Scion of Arland).
Atelier Ryza is the first game in the "Secret" trilogy. Though you can possibly also consider it the Ryza trilogy too, as uniquely in the series, she's the main character in all three games. (Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness and the Secret Hideout, Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & The Secret Fairy, and Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key)
You'll often find similar themes and motifs within the music for games within the same series, but the overal feel and sound is the same normally. Very chill, often atmospheric, and with seriously banging boss themes.
And that's not even going into the many, many spinoffs, and rereleases. In fact there's even a remake of Atelier Marie coming out in a few months time!
As for what type of game? They're your traditional JRPG. Only with a much more indepth crafting system. You spend half your time adventuring/gathering materials, and then go back to your workshop (Atelier) to make potions, weapons, bombs, armour, tools, whatever you need. The stories vary. It can be as simple as "I don't want to lose my shop" to "I need to save my sister within 2 years or she'll be gone forever". They are fantastic games though, and I'd highly recommend checking them out. (Ryza is the most approchable one, and is very highly rated)

Of the ones you've listened to before this, I'm fairly certain Thistle Lotus and the Flash Frost arrangement are both by Hayato Asano. He's my personal favorite composer for the series, everything he touches sounds absolutely magical.

Atelier changes style between series (each series has stuff taking place in a different universe). The Dusk series is probably the most unique of them (like slag dance, or MARIA).
The short part in this one from 2:20 is literally Blue Reflection TIE's OST. Also by the same game developer and composer, bluref has really interesting music.

Always happy to see Atelier soundtrack getting more attention, some of the best music out there!
Atelier Ryza 2 - Wish (final boss theme) might be the best boss theme in the series so hopefully this is in your queue list
    Keep em coming please 👍

Bro I'm 100% with you when I first discovered this series back in 2019, like yo the music in this games slaps hard. You might want to check, other Hayato Asano mainly Blue Reflection and Blue Reflection Tie, I'm recommending Overdose or Our Real.

Koei Techmo is the publisher for overseas releases but Gust is the actual developer, you might recognize them since they also did the Ar Tonelico games.

The music absolutely matches the game, by the way. Gust (the developer) is pretty tight-knit and the composers have traditionally been very close to the development of the games and their characters.
That said though, you're basically getting exposed almost exclusively to final boss and super boss themes from the series. There are also plenty of tracks that are chill and silly!
