Paddy, I’m from the Philippines, and I watched your Vietnam vlog series when I was planning my own trip a year ago. Watching your documentary now brought a tear to my eye-it’s a mix of emotions, remembering the excitement of planning and how unforgettable that journey turned out to be. I wish I could relive those travel moments over and over, and your documentary truly brought it all back. Thank you so much for that. Please keep doing what you do!
My husband and I watched this on the weekend, what an awesome documentary! The Vietnam series was when I originally found and subscribed to your channel and I've watched every episode. This documentary was perfect, and I even took notes for our upcoming trip to SE Asia. I love all the off the beaten path places you find, so we will definitely try to get to as many of these places as possible. Thank you so much for putting this together :)
I’ve been annoying watching a half hour or so each day over the last few days and I am absolutely loving it! I already clicked ‘like’ but I wish I could click it each day!!! What an amazing trip. I previously didn’t know much about Vietnam but, just, wow!
Love your videos Paddy. And a subscriber. I have been living in Vietnam for a year now. And my 1 year wedding anniversary is coming up in Dec. with my Vietnamese wife Mai. You’ve traveled through some country that I’m dreaming of. I’ve been to Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Sapa. The top of Fansipan. But this trip here is part of my main bucket list. Very beautiful, and great content. Especially the flat tire at the lake. Enjoyed it thank you sir😎
I've subscribed to you due to this Vietnam trip you did because I was researching about Vietnam's sights and places to visit back then. It is amazing to rewatch the entire trip again, what a beautiful country Vn is. Have many many good ones Paddy, look forward to your future videos!
This long form content is amazing. Even when you’re doing something as mundane as biking, it feels great to be a fly on the wall. The drone shots are incredible!
I think this re-edit and re-release is a great idea! I've seen all of your Thailand / Vietnam / Laos content, but this is great to watch again, presented a little differently.
I spend over 30 minutes each day watching this video of yours. I haven’t skipped a single detail; your journey is truly amazing. I think I’ll finish watching it in the next few days. You had such a meaningful trip, and I love the way you happily face the challenges along the way. You’re amazing!!
We based so much of our Vietnam trip recently on your videos and had one of the best times in what is now one of our favourite countries we have ever been too! Thanks sir Paddy 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I watched the original episodes and having been to Vietnam this past summer it’s been lovely watching this documentary. Definitely made me miss Vietnam and the people. Loved it
Yeah, I finished it within 3 days 🎉😅 loved the movie, it was so inspiring, vietnam is beautiful and you gave a authentic insight. My favorite moment of the video were the sequence when you filmed with your drone at the lake and the kids run after it and jumped in the water. That was a feeling of pure happiness. Thanks for the good feelings and greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
This is perfect! I loved watching the shorter videos published as Paddy traveled long ago and I love this long edit with everything together! He comes up with the best ideas!
These long form documentary style videos of your trips are so good! Really enjoying having some beers and rewatching this trip in a more relaxed manner. Thanks for the new edit! You seem to have had the best time on this trip.
My Saturday night stay-in. Thank you. Had watched your Ha Giang loop before but this is a completed picture, beautiful! I could see the same thing too. Living in Vietnam for a few years now but the Southern part is the least visit for me.
Paddy, I’ve been a sub for years (you are one reason I was inspired to move to TH) and when I heard you were doing these loooonnngggg videos, I did not think it would be good. But, I’m currently on hour 3 and LOVE IT. Cheers for experimenting with a new format and I look forward to the next!
Hello Paddy ... I enjoy very, very much this Mega-Video of Vietnam ... (I saw all of these videos before) So it's a good and interesting expierience .... I must say, I love these older videos, they are so authentic and full of adventures and small but special moments (as you say) In these videos you are in the real life people of the corresponding countries live ! Thank you very much for that !
Hi Paddy, thanks for your hard work and giving me your experience in the different countries! I travel a lot to SEA and always enjoy seeing your videos! Best regards Nick Sam
Grest video Paddy! Travelled to Vietnam north to south 20 years ago and it has changed so much. I didn't enjoy the south much back then and vowed to spend more time in the north and countryside one day. I liked your dances, very youthful !
Have watched this in episodic form am enjoying it again in documentary. I hate waiting for episodes so this is perfect. Have a great break and give us a wave if you’re passing through York on your UK trip
I fly to Vietnam Wednesday, it'll be my second time there and this time I have a 90 days visa! I want to do this trip but from the south to the north and take the side roads the whole way! This was a great series, I watched it when you first released it. I am going to binge watch this on my 16 hour flight lol! I will say this, the Vietnamese people are beautiful, regardless of where you go in their wonderful country. They help and give so much regardless of what they have! It truly felt like a 2nd home when I was there, no other country made me feel like that, and I've been to 40+ countries and counting.
Dude I can’t believe I watched this entire video! Longest YT vid I think I’ve ever watched. It was great! Lots of the parts I had already seen as segments. Tbh I would have watched a series like this in “non-long-form” if it was easier to find one video after another. In other words if the entire Vietnam series had a better numbering system, or if links to the next vid in the series were reliably put in the description…I would watch these things completely without having to make them a 5 hour long doc. Just my rambling two cents. Great stuff man
That was awesome, thanks for sharing and the re-edit. I don't think I would follow your footsteps but it has been a great watch seeing you do it and all the marvellous people you encountered. Looking forward to the next one.
I loved reliving this journey with you for the second time!! Our 3 month Vietnam trip was inspired by your series and we are so glad we did it. Go Paddy!!! 🎉
Parents, wife , bro and I went to Vietnam together...they loved it! Also we've spent our down time together watching this video and my parents have loved seeing places they've been and places they really wanna go :) you've got a new sub from them Also they think you're crazy for driving Ur back on horrible roads and in craves! Dad is a massive Newcastle FC fan
Thank you for doing a long form video like this on vietnam. No one does long form content anymore its all short condensed bs. I am going backpacking in southeast asia next year and i just discovered your channel. Seeing this gives me so much excitement and so much to look forward to seeing when i visit this beautiful country!
Dear Paddy I have just finished the first 1.5 hrs and am blown away. I’m an avid fan of yours and watch many videos but had not immersed myself in the Vietnam ones. I love watching travel and adventure and your unique perspective. But more than that, over the past days I have been dealing with some anxiety and loneliness as I moved to a new country recently. So many things seem in limbo right now and watching your videos at the gym and at night, gives me some solace and a feeling of happiness. The scenes with the children playing in the mud and water were just pure joy and reminded me of the beauty and happiness this world contains. Thank you.
This video introduced me to you. You’re so cheerful and friendly; it’s wonderful to see you experiencing life in Vietnam with an old motorbike-something I haven’t had the time to try myself. I don’t spend much time on TH-cam, but I’ll support you by subscribing and liking. I hope to see more of your videos in my country, Vietnam🇻🇳. Thank you for coming! ❤️
Wow, wow, Paddy, even if I've already watched all the "episodes" of your trip in Vietnam (frankly speaking the best series ever), I'm looking forward to going through this long doc. 👍👍👍
Loved all 5 hours of this! Really appreciate your honest viewpoint. Looking forward to our visit in a few months, and feel like my expectations are more realistic now. Drone shots were amazing!
Hey Paddy. Great to see your videos again. I was living in Thailand and enjoyed your videos there. I’m now in Da Nang and you have this AWESOME video. Thanks for your content! 🙏
First time I had found you... we are travellers but you just made it so much fun.. .I am going to do the same . How smart to uy a bike and resale it. Feel the same as you we love the area with less humans..... Thank you do much for thanking us for watching what a nice way to connect... I can not wait to see another one....❤❤
I have been an avid viewer of your video blogs for the past three years and occasionally re-watch previous episodes. I think revisiting your adventures in a documentary format is an excellent idea, Paddy. Keep up the great work mate!!
Had this on while i organized my room. So many moments i stopped and watched. So many cool interactions with people. Thank you for being honest about how you felt during your trip. I think its crucial to understand the context of the entire trip. No long traverse is easy!
Omg the best video ever ❤ I love how long it is for me not long enough 😊 I could see how you love the countryside and not so much the crowds in the cities and I totally get that. I hope you return soon but you did cover a lot and also loved the north more so maybe more exploring for you there!? ❤❤ keep up the awesome work
Paddy we’re just over an hour in and you’ve had us in stitches with the “sit down” thing and your driving through the windey roads 😂. What a beautiful country though. Thoroughly enjoying this ❤
Thanks for putting this together Paddy! I never had a chance to watch these before so this is all new for me! I don’t really know much about Vietnam but only 30 mins in and it’s amazing. Love that you got ‘stuck’ at Ba Be Lake - beautiful spot to have to accidentally visit! Cheers!
Nice video. Like you tell on another video you Will bring is a new séries of vídeos more longs and to resume all your travells. For me a long but a very Good video. I will wait for the next ones
Amazing!!! Thoroughly enjoyed your five hour doc Mr Doyle! Did it in two days & was totally engrossed from start to finish! I sometimes felt you had a death wish on that little bike of yours but many congratulations! A great journey & an excellent job on filming & editing! Well done Sir!
Watching for the second time all the way through. Vietnam truly is beautiful! Can’t wait for the Antarctica documentary to come out as that’s the only one we didn’t see in real time
Thank you, Paddy, I really enjoyed this long form travelogue, your insights and skill with a drone. Armchair travel at its best. And a lovely reminder of my own 4-week quest (albeit South/Phu Quoc to North at the Ha Giang loop).
That drone shot through the mountain with the hole was spectacular! I'm glad this video popped up on my recommend page. I've subscribed to your channel it was so good.
Well mate, just started to run this on the tellie, have your back buddy, cheers 👊🍻 end now fi ished the 4 hour doc, seen manny things for a second time some i already forgot hahaha, but thanks for those. Also the funny moments where the ducks tickled you mate 555. Cheers 💪🍻
I watched the entire series and I really enjoyed it. Was so happy to see this "movie" edition of the trip. Watching it a second time but its just as interesting as the first time.
For the very first time I got emotional at the end of the video .. just loved your entire journey of Vietnam .. you have covered beautiful places.. and the last not the least .. when you recorded the last video of dreamy it was very heart breaking.. anyway get well soon.. brother 🥂

Also try not to listen to the negative comments about how long the video is, nothing will make everyone happy, but we all love your content
The only thing better than a 4-hour Paddy travel video is a 5-hour video 😉
Forget the haters. Long form content is the best. Thank you.
I love this serie in Vietnam most! This country makes me come back many times to travel.
Việt Nam luôn chào đón Bạn

Love the doco and the length ❤❤❤. This is my favourite adventure series. You had inspired me to visit Vietnam and I have been there 3 times since 😊.
I’m about to jump on a 9 hour flight. So it’s the perfect time to sit and watch your first documentary. Looking forward to it! Thanks Paddy!
