Thank you for another stellar video! Would it be possible in future ones to tell a little about why you chose the brand/style of whisky/gin/tequila/rum etc. for the specific drink? It would be interesting to receive a little bit more knowledge about that to know how the flavors work and which of my spirits at home would be the best fit.

I have a cocktail challenge for the team. Now my Dad likes to drink Birddog blueberry whisky. I think the stuff tastes like cough syrup but he likes the taste of the blueberry that's in it. Is there a cocktail that brings out the blueberry and reduce the cough syrup taste?
In 0:45 you can see that he seems to use "Asyla" Scotch from Compas Box. However I don't know if thats also the one from the Blue Blazer. If the Whisky of choice in the Blue Blazer is also the Asyla that is one reason to heat it up. 40%/80 proof won't burn if it is not pre heated.

Try a scotch just in a heated snifter! the tiny bit of water left over from heating the glass and the warmth just opens it up beautifully!
