Awesome shots. First time watching you. I currently have 2 Nikon D610 and a D7000 and D5100. I am looking at the D750. Enjoy your explanation of both cameras. ❤
Standard lens for a crop sensor about 35mm…50 will give you bit of a telephoto view, not far off a portrait lens.If previous comment has’nt deleted ,please ignore. Both 3300,d750 crop sensors and use dx lenses.
this was so helpful!!! I’ve been studying photography for just over 4 years now and have had a D3300 since I started. recently I’ve improved a lot and want to upgrade to something more intermediate to suit, I think after watching I’ll go with the D750!
lee oliver it’s a huge decision! So it’s always great to read and listen to people’s views ! I love my d750 and I even know wedding photographers that will use this camera so it tells a little about how great it is . My d3300 was my first and I’m so glad I got it and fell in love with photography. 😊
Hello! I have the exact same setup as yours: D750, D3300, 50mm f / 1.8 and 24-70mm. I really liked the video, you spoke clearly about the key aspects and substantial differences of the two cameras. A greeting and good light.
Christine, I have been a professional photographer for over 39 years! I own many cameras Including 2 Nikon D750's! You maid a very wise choice choosing this camera for your photography work! I encourage you to purchase a Nikon 85mm 1.8 lens! And for your information f/9 is the sweet spot of this lens!
George Castro thank you so much ! I appreciate your feedback George . I was very pleased with my purchase of the D750 ! It takes beautiful pictures . I would love to get a prime lens either 35 or 85 1.4 (would love for low light) . We shall see for the future 😊📸
You can use lens on both bodies (as someone already commented) but to get similar views or angle of view .You would need to shoot 3300 on about 35 mm to get similar photo.. as the 50 mm on the d750.The 3300 with its crop sensor would look like a 75 mm shot, with the 50 mm lens on.People more clever than me say best use with the DX lenses on the 3300.A lot of technical stuff to learn, don’t give up.I’m technically quite good, but a poor photographer….?
Dina Galal I had to send it back bc the shutter broke . I bought it from the marketplace on FB . But they covered it under warranty so all I had to pay was for shipping 😀
Yes yours will be brand new and you can send it back to Nikon and they will fix under warranty . I was very lucky and even though I bought used they still covered the shutter for free (I only paid shipping ) . I prefer the 50mm when I do portraits , for events (wedding/party) I use my 24-70mm . 😊
I think you have skipped one of the most important things... The D750 is a Full Frame Camera. D3300 is not. It means the images in the D3300 are smaller. You cover more with the D750
Eduardo De Freites thank you so much !! Yes the full frame camera is a huge step up from the d3300. I do include that at the end of the video as well 😌
So wish I would have kept my D5500 when I upgraded to the D610. When you have 2 then can have a buddy come along on your adventures. My motivator was low light shooting, the crop sensor was great outside but when the kids were doing things indoors the noise was hurting the quality too much. Good comparison.
All of the photos you show at the end are over exposed. There is no detail in the highlights, and the white balace is off. Skin tones also. Think you need to get coupe of steps back and learn how to properly expose. And no you do not need to go into menu to change iso, aperature, and shutter speed on d3300.

Yes the biggest thing and hardest thing is deciding which brand you want to stick with and all the same lens / glass . But I loved my 750

@@christineoliviaphotography4065 Here's some food for thought Christine, The Nikon 85mm 1.8 lens is sharper then the Nikon 85mm 1.4 lens!😉
George Castro thank you ! That’s great to know bc it’s much more expensive for the 1.4 !
Nikon 85 1.8 which one the s or the fx?
Christine Olivia Photography what lens do u use now on the d750?

Why did you send back the d750 to nikon? I am getting it soon and i'm scared that something might be wrong with it. It's an upgrade after my d3100.
