First of all I love how the car looks, the widebody is amazing and the subie looks spectacular BUT for anyone wondering/commenting, no the bumpers are not a perfect match and neither are the sideskirts (and if you look hard enough some of the other body panels and pieces aren't perfect either) This can be caused by several factors. Bumpers are difficult to paint match to begin with and it is common even for a factory paint job to not have perfect matching paint either and this is because of the difference in material. Because bumpers, sideskirts, etc. are plastic and the car itself is metal it is hard to match. The other possibility is that the different pieces were painted off the car and then installed afterwards. Even if you mix enough paint to do the whole car without having to mix more, painting the panels individually will cause the paint to be different shades because the panels were not blended together during the painting process. No paint is perfect but the only possibility of a "perfect" paint job is to paint the entire car with all panels on in one sitting so you get proper blending and consistent paint lay. Also a good point to mention is that the imperfections are not nearly as intense or dramatic in person, cameras always make it look worse than it is. In person it's possible that the paint job looks almost perfect or it may also look just like this in person, but who knows. As long as Evan is happy then who cares and Jose still did a great job regardless.

yeah color match is pretty poor its a "Passable" blendable variant but no where near a good enough match for a panel paint (which is what they did) but if its up to his expectations then it works.
I was thinking the same thing front passenger side fender looked completely different that the front bumper. Love the car it looks great but my ocd just could stop seeing it😂

Hey you said it, childhood dream car. I owned my 2017 STI for a single year before I traded it in. Great driving cars, but they don’t build power well, they’re pretty horrible at it. And then when you do build a little power BOOM! they blow up. Rebuilds are expensive because nobody wants to work on them, and parts are far too expensive for the power gains. Subaru makes some of the worst engines possible for for performance. Even their newer FA engines are garbage.

you should get a 11-14 bumper it would look alot better also the extensions dont look good color matched in my opinion... oh and that color matching is😅😅
