That ship is actually a shopping mall !!!! The resaon why it looks like a ship is becasue that place used to be one of the famous shipyard in Hong Kong before 1985.
You did not mention the music. The music is a genious and unique creation, too. The telephone message part is very typical of a busy and lonely city. Yet , it is so creatively added to that very solemn, touching, mysterious and yet modern music. It blends to the spectacular video and gives it a movie touch. Also the ending of the Buhdda is so so so spectacular and amazing!
That’s my favorite video from Time Lab! This work is art piece, if you ask me. Music , visual, montage, everything! I watched it million times, I think .😀
If you haven't seen this one, better fasten your seatbelt cause this one might blow you away!! What did you learn during this breakdown? Tell me below! 🙌😀
7:17 it's a cruise in the middle of the ship. the ship is actually a mall inside, and it holds a lot of luxurious shops. it's because cruises are very rare in hong kong, you mostly get a star ferry, so being able to get in a cruise ship in hong kong is hard, so the transition it to a mall. the “cruise” has lots of branded shops, because it's very lucky and expensive and rare to get on a ship, so they put it smack in the middle and it's a landmark :D I'm a hongkonger btw :)
Timelab Pro are using Inspire 2 for most of they shots and they are so unique because of the raw video (a lot better colorgading than mavic pro for example) and the interchangeable lenses. Also that fast movement of the drone is a drone hyper lapse (possible with mavic pro 2 and even mavic pro with some manual work). Love your reaction series mate!
@@FlorianLand The boat is located in Whampoa, Hong Kong. It houses the Aeon Style shopping mall as well as an exit to the local metro station. There's actually real water around it, but the boat isn't floating and isn't a real boat either.
1:28 well actually i think they might have used the dji inspire 2 with the zenmuse x7 which has a 5x optical zoom and yeah one can also rotate the gimble on some drones, so the shots dont have to be upscaled necessarily also i think that (it is done poretty often) that the shots where the drone flies backwards revealing an object are actually shots where they flew forward and then just reversed the video, it is possible as long as there are any moving objects like people, animals or cars in the picture (oh lol you say it like one second later)
Really have always enjoyed your reactions and feedback on these videos! Nice work on this one! I'm a 17 yr old aspiring videographer and I recently posted a video from my trip to China! Hope you could maybe give it a look:)
Hey Florian, Thanks for the great video. Could you please also review the second part of the Hong Kong video “Behind the scenes”? The title suggest a “Making of”-like video - however, this video is just as marvelous as the original one.

the shopping mall made me get a banana plushie

you didnt even . notice.. they tracked there logo onto a buidling... annndddd the tilting drone shots.. are all fpv drone...not keyframing
Haha there are soo many things I dont notice. Most often I watch the video for the firdt time when I react and then get tons if things wrong 🙃
@@FlorianLand if you see the behind the scenes video you will realize it that was 50% fpv 50% inspire
One of the most creative videos I’ve seen in a while 👊🏻
So true! I'd kill to have those drone filming skills 🤩
Oh hell yes... Just visited that channel a d those guys are beyond sick over there... Extremely fantastic work they have... Wow! 👍🏽🇹🇹
The boat is a shopping mall
this video made me fall in love with Hong Kong, after covid 19 it will definitely go to this super city
welcome from HK

Great to know that, thanks for the insights. Had assumed it might be an inspire, quality is definitely out of this World 🤩
4:05 Time Lab written on the building is a nice gimmick :)
Damn, I didnt even see that!! 😀 Good eye there, Patrick 👌
@@FlorianLand thanks! It's the details like those that make videos outstanding.
And which end up taking the kost amount of time in the end 😂
@@FlorianLand yeah for sure! In my first video I created a transition which took me 5 hours in total. That sucked.
Did you watch "Riding China in FPV" from Stéphane Couchoud - aaaaawesome video. I would love to see you react to that one 👍🏼
The boat is a shopping mall..
I am also freaked out by that boat LOL. This video though is mindblowing!
Haha yeah, right?! Came totally random and never seen that before. Just another step up in the craziness of this video 🤩

Awesome reaction as always
Glad to hear that! Was definitely a good suggestion I got sent there 👌😎
You didn't see the Big Buddha at the end LOL. The prespertive of the shot shocked me xd
it may be that the color grading was done in the photo shop. In Premiere pro I can't get the look
From 2:18-2:22, they shot it with the drone going forward then reversed it in post. If you look closely at the cars they are going in reverse.
That boat is a plaza, it’s located in Kowloon
Don't miss the last shot! It's not ended yet
7:14 it's actually sorta a shopping mall
Damn, insane, color grading is spot on also!
So true!! Crazy how well made this one is 🤩
Serious Cyberpunk vibes
The Whampoh Docks shopping mall was built to look like a land locked ship.
Such a crazy idea. It definitely looks exactly like that 😜
Awesome video brooooo
That one was EPIC, right?! Glad you enjoyed it, Sandro

Quick question,
How you manage to get permission to react on someone else's video on youtube.
i will be glad if you reply.
Permission? What are you serious? Ofcourse you're allowed to react on a video and film yourself doing so.
