I was there in the 80's and early 90's (Before the takeover) and people of Hong Kong enjoyed a fairly free and decent lifestyle...Obviously, just like any other huge city, you have districts that are bad and house the less fortunate and there was a struggle, just like it is anywhere else. I never lived there, so I can't say for sure, but most of the people I talked to there seemed to be doing ok. Since the takeover I read that things have plummeted quite a bit and they are no longer free like they were. Which sucks.

Cos I know that she would reuse those items again and actually not even burn the incense for me. I know that is what she would do ? A child's toy would be a racing drone with a gopro and even so I'm not so sure about that, as you can get shots from a racing quad, any other drone can't. It's like comparing cars. There are 4.000.000$ cars and $2.000. Both are in the end, cars and not a child's toy.

sadly, there are other sides to Hong Kong than what you see here. there are alleyways with trash thrown in them, homeless sleeping under bridges, and people living in tiny apartments (subdivided flats) around 40 square feet, according to Google, as well as people living in cages since they can't afford to rent subdivided flats.

I was there in the 80's and early 90's (Before the takeover) and people of Hong Kong enjoyed a fairly free and decent lifestyle...Obviously, just like any other huge city, you have districts that are bad and house the less fortunate and there was a struggle, just like it is anywhere else. I never lived there, so I can't say for sure, but most of the people I talked to there seemed to be doing ok. Since the takeover I read that things have plummeted quite a bit and they are no longer free like they were. Which sucks.

And that the so called "investments" has ended up with something of this level... and ruining the world as well. Really bad !!!!! I went to Wong Tai Sin... to wanted to pray. And it has commercialised SO much !!!! I went to a store and the lady said that it was actually a good time to pray because it was Buddha's Day. So yeh... after 13 years of not being there. I bought it. And then she even said that she could burn it for me. I didn't trust such services... and in the end, I gave it back to her to burn in my wishes. (In that moment... my heart sank a lot.. really heavily. Why? Cos I know that she would reuse those items again and actually not even burn the incense for me. I know that is what she would do ? Cos I could see that she scribbled the top notes only which means that it would leave the other stack left over.)

Considering you had to hire a helicopter to make these kind of shots in the past they actually really are not. EDIT: Looking at the description the entire drone rig they used hovers right around $10.000. That's really cheap considering you get these kind of shots out of them.

A child's toy would be a racing drone with a gopro and even so I'm not so sure about that, as you can get shots from a racing quad, any other drone can't.

sadly, there are other sides to Hong Kong than what you see here. there are alleyways with trash thrown in them, homeless sleeping under bridges, and people living in tiny apartments (subdivided flats) around 40 square feet, according to Google, as well as people living in cages since they can't afford to rent subdivided flats.
