Im tired of seeing comments of how expensive health and dental care is. Low income folks can get cheaper care from medical and dental schools. This is about vanity, scamming and shortcuts.
Two things can be right are the same time. Sure, Low income folks CAN get cheaper care from medical and dental schools AND health and dental care is still expensive regardless.

Yes, found a dentist that serviced low income ppl when I didn't have insurance in East pt, ga for a fraction of the cost. They even work with you when paying out of pocket. I had to make sacrifices to pay & I'm much happier now.

agreed, want to add that others missed in these comments: veneers are cosmetic. veneers are about the look of teeth, not the structurally integrity, not helping the gums or the nerve. teeth that are shaped differently or arent copy paper white are functional teeth. if you have cavities, or have a high risk of more, or even gingivitis can disqualify you from having veneers. this isn't about actual healthcare, it was people who wanted to emulate celebrities/filters on social media. they shouldn't have been taken advantage by these grifters but they werent poor people trying to find genuine healthcare. its like people who go to unlicensed injectors or plastic surgeons.

I fell asleep part way through the video, and woke up to her talking around 25 minutes, and 20 MINUTES LATER, this clown STILL TALKING. OMFG.
That woman's description saying that it's like acrylic nails is illogical. Nail salons, hair salons, spas, etc. have to pass health inspections. She didn't have to because she's running a fraud/illegal business. As to no refunds, there's a reason medical professionals are required to have malpractice insurance. My hubs is a type of medical technician but state law requires him to practice under the oversight of a medical professional. Technician can have varying requirements depending on the law.
I'm a pharmacy technician and my first thought was, if dental technicians were real they'd have to work under a dentist with a licence in good standing. The Florida State Board of Dentistry ain't going to care about any illegal consent forms when they fine her and have criminal charges pressed.
You can tell that woman and every other “veneer tech” is completely clueless. They are essentially committing a crime by touching anyone mouth other than their own impersonation of a medical professional in some states is a felony.
They also go through a loooot of hours of training to do nails, etc. than they do in two days of “veneer school.”

I love how they’re go to excuse is ‘I’m a tech, I do t need a license!’ When literally every other type of tech does not have their own business, because you legally HAVe to operate under a professional WITH a license who can monitor you. And even then, other techs still take weeks or months to be certified and have to have like training/clinical hours before they are certified.
I'm a truck driver tech. I don't need a certified cdl or medical card to operate a truck. My printed certificate is good enough
@jmcdrawer5031Didn’t know that. I come from the medical world where techs and assistants in my experience are under a fully licensed doctor/therapist specialist. I think the same would apply here because it is a medical based procedure, so someone who is fully certified would have to oversee it and take on the responsibility if something goes wrong. When I was starting my career I had a conditional license and was under a fully certified specialist in my field.
I'm a certified peer support specialist and I have to take boards I have to take my boards I graduated my class my training now I'm scheduled I got to take boards to be certified and get a certification number in the Pennsylvania the PCB that is the Pennsylvania certification board and this is to practice in the mental health field so how do these people think that they don't need a certificate like a certification license medical you need to have a certification number and it has to be listed under like the dental board and if you don't have that then guess what that s*** is bogus that little piece of paper go wipe your ass with it@@awseven1144
I had a girl eating at my workplace and one of her veneers fell out and she was breaking down for the entire hour and 30 minutes she was there. She was crying and called her mom going "I got fucking scammed!! She scammed me!!" Turns out she got them that same month and poured all of her life savings into it. She was happy I helped her out but she can't just go to an emergency appointment cause she doesn't have any money and her mom has other kids to care for.
You need to check the credentials, it takes less than 3 seconds to find the credentials.

Yup! My sister got a dog bite. Took her to ER, they sanitized it & stitched the bite up. That same night at like 2am her hand was so swollen and red hot to touch. This was maybe 12hrs max.
Also apparently the first ER messed up by stitching her bite wound. She ended up staying overnight 2 days in a different hospital because of it.

tooth infections are no joke. I had my front top tooth tooth become infected and it formed a huge abscess underneath my nose which eventually made my eyes swell shut and made my forehead become swollen and getting that scalpel pushed up under my nose through my gums was one of the worst Pains of my life

I just got out of a 3 day hospital stay because I had a tooth infection that led to sepsis and cellulitis!
I had a tooth infection that I got by dentist when I was little. My whole mouth swelled up. Had to go to dental emergency center and pull out that teeth, and it even split in half while pulling out. Thankfully that was kid tooth and the adult one grew back in the place. But I was traumatized ever since.
Tooth infections are very serious which can lead to death if left untreated. A tooth infection can travel up to the brain.
Yeah I had a front tooth abscess that pushed up to my optical nerve my sinuses everything got so dizzy vision blurry and the PAIN and throbbing. Had to pay for a root canal, $1400 no insurance at that time. Had to take out a credit card to pay for it and the tooth cracked In half a decade later 😢

I’ve gotten a deep ass cut on my leg because of a dirty metal bed frame at this hotel-cottage place me and my family stayed at years back, and I got an infection within 10 minutes despite me cleaning it really well (I’m super careful with wounds). The cut was just too deep to fully clean out and it got really bad, and remained bad for over a month.
Also I feel bad for her kid, they just wanna go home while she’s just yelling at her phone in the car.

She’s right infections don’t occur overnight. They occur in an instant. Pain is a sign of infection, FYI. If this lady doesn’t have an autoclave, doesn’t use sterile technique & sterile tools this woman does not need to be in anyone’s mouth. The “veneers” can be sterile but if her hands/gloves, tools etc are not sterile there’s an opportunity for infection.
She is not licensed she can’t “examine” anyone’s gums. She has zero training. That sentence alone should get her shutdown.

I infections can, in fact, occur within hours. I left my husband at home and went to work around 6am, by the time, I returned around 12 hiurs later, he was experiencing sepsis. He had a cut on his leg from his compression socks.12 hours!

As a nurse for almost 30 years, I can say with 100% certainty that infections can develop “over night” and even be fatal in that time frame.

Retired licensed nail technician. Even with a licensed nail technician we go to school for months. We have to learn about diseases, infections, proper safety and sanitation, bones in the body, etc…
We have to be able to recognize illnesses in people, even if they don’t know they have it.

My son paid over one hundred thousand dollars not including the anesthesia costs and it was worth it. He also had bone grafts that were addressed by another dentist. We live in metro Atlanta. Please interview the doctors. And veneers have to be cleaned in about every 6 months $$$.
Dentist sometimes don’t do corrections over other work. Please don’t fall into business like this. The price isn’t cheap if done properly. In the end if you’re young you will spend $1 million on your mouth. If you buy a one million dollar house you should have $10 million in the bank. Thanks for the video. As someone who had to get dentures at a young age, please please be careful with your teeth. It wasn’t because of any unnecessary dental work, but I just had bad teeth and prob partly due to an opiate addiction (sober over 15 yrs now). People don’t always think that your teeth can affect more than just looks. My dad almost passed from getting two teeth pulled; he ended up getting an infection. Dry sockets, abscess, can mess with your heart, your pocketbook, your life. It’s not worth it. Spend the extra money to go to an actual dentist. 💜💜

100% unsafe!!! Go to a Dentist, con con con artist their is no License or Dental title in any state or Dental Board reconization of Veneer Tech. Dentist have to eval/consult with patient if you can have veneers, all decay, bone loss, current infections, fractured teeth, with xrays along with other dental concerns like health history need to be evaluated. Dental Labs use the Dentist impressions to customize naturally your look, color shade, and correct size bite. So you don't look or sound bad. Plus you can eat properly. If you treat anyone physically hands inside or outside body see a State Board Licensed Professional who is held accountable for care and standards. These con artist need to be shut down and legally charged inpersonating a Dental Professional (DDS) please go to a Dentist in a real office with everything safely in place (steril instruments, proper materials) to use. Sounds like these veneers are like pre made press on nail teeth, one size fits all, wrong. Who is she to say you don't need a Dentist?? Question you need a surgery, you want soneone like her doing it no real training or License, also what if the one lady with infectikns who couldn't remove her venerrs had a stroke while there?? My step mom had gotten veneers from a dentist that was known for taking short cuts and doing everything the cheapest way possible but over charging his patients. About a year after she had her veneers done by him you could see green coming through from her natural teeth. She sued him along with a ton of other people in our area and never got a dime. But she had to put out more money for dentures. So do your homework when it comes to your teeth. Cheap is not always the best way
As a cosmetologist im curious as to who the certification is from. Nail techs, lash techs, etc still need licensed/certified(depending on state regulations) under the state board of cosmetology. Infection control is so important especially when digging in someones mouth!!!

First the lady said she doesn’t accept patient if they have an infection, then she said you can easily detect if someone already has an infection, then she said if she had an infection before the veneers were placed. So she really didn’t know what she was doing lol!
