This dangerous situation is getting worse basements dentistry is not a hobby. Keep on informing the public. Just say this is for fair use if we’re educational purposes and anyone who has been harmed by these people should report them to their local state health department or law enforcement. If you get ANY forms of nerve damage or gum infections you'll have to pay for your recovery regardless. Which is inevitable with an untrained medical amateur. The woman wasn't even wearing gloves in some videos. Comments like these makes me feel so little sympathy for some idiots who gets dental work done by strangers in a house kitchen and end up botched.
I can understand that not everyone is in a financial situation for oral work. But anyone who needs real help with their teeth will not find it with the an unlicensed dentist as they do not have the knowledge, equipment, resources, or even experience to actually fix teeth or give you a proper temp job. I bet you every single one of these people have Medicaid card, and that covers real dentistry.

They never put in the master brackets in the very back second to last molar on the top and bottom to connect the wire to!!! So it's not properly moving. Everything moves back in thirty days. My mom is an orthodontist and does EVERYTHING with teeth. I only had mine on as an adult for eight months. It was so painful that first month that I couldn't eat or sleep. I had to brush them in the morn and before bed plus Everytime I ate or drank anything. If they don't know what they are doing, it permanently affects your teeth and mouth for life. There are teeth that are too thick, too thin, too weak for them. And you can get carbon pockets that turn your teeth BLACK jet black from the calcium buildup around the brackets. You can't drill it off. It goes all the way into the root. The glue they use is toxic and causes cancer if swallowed. It looks like they didn't properly protect for that.

Ma'am, I have had braces...twice! Braces on the bottom teeth are of the devil! This is nothing to play with. You are forcing your teeth to move within the bone. My ortho put a tongue trainer behind my teeth because my Tongue would push against my top teeth without me even knowing. I wonder if she knows about that? I don't just blame the lady for selling a dream, I blame all of these people who know this is illegal but choose to disrespect the law and their body for purchasing what is surely a dream. If you don't wear a retainer or bond them on, your teeth are going to shift right back. The lady does not realize she is a hypocrite by beating up others who go to the basement while she is promoting the same behavior. What if the person pulls off the enamel if they try to pull off those brackets incorrectly. Mark these words. The FBI will be coming in with a referral and this is going to be blown up.

My husband & I run a lab and we work with legitimate dentists to correct this kind of stuff due to the poor results of illegal dental work. You might be getting it on the cheap, but in the long run you will be doing permanent damage and it's going to cost you a fortune to fix. Also consider nobody is getting x-rays here so I can assume there plenty of silent decay happening. There are way too many things that can go wrong, not only with infection, but getting to where all your teeth need to be pulled or replaced with implants $$$$$. Not so cheap anymore!!! :/

I literally have two missing teeth and my overall dental health is better now than it has ever been. I had To have them surgically removed by an actual doctor, and until I can afford to have Bridges put in by an actual dentist, I would rather just live with missing teeth than to have somebody who doesn't know what they're doing sticking their hands in my mouth. Tooth pain is excruciating, and once they're gone they're gone. I just dont understand how there are no any proffesionals just trying to offer proffessional work at cheaper.
In my experience, im a psychologist, and during my practices at my master's degree, the place we were at was in our college. This place offered therapy but it was a place for students like us to learn, so the conditions were that we could observe the cases. We would observe the cases behind one of those magic mirrors, and also one of us was inside the room with the proffessional therapist. So they were attended by proffessionals but also LICENSED psychologists could be able to observe their cases, of course everything confidential. This condition made the service much more cheaper. In a normal consult the price can be 70€ each session, due to these conditions the patients had to pay 12'50€ per session. So it was much more cheaper but they were attended by proffessionals anyway.
There could be a dental school offering something like this without risking the legal factors and health of the patients.

Like, clearly people want (or maybe even need) dental care, but due to the state of health insurance and the cost of receiving care in the US, they aren’t able to safely get the care they want. But some of these are also due to societal pressure to look good, look pretty, look “rich”… and at the end of all of this, greedy people with no moral compass are the ones taking advantage of these people who are desperately looking for solutions to their problems.

In addition to that she does no filling, so no fear of root damage. Though its still possible with the pressure of braces if moved incorrectly. So I understand her, though I don't agree. Hell, people have issues including even h.i.v. Infection in dental offices if the tools arent cleaned properly by a dental assistant /nurse. Which happened in Florida(?) if I'm not mistaken like....10 years ago. Heck a woman who later found out she was h.i.v. Positive was sure she got it from getting her nails done, just to be told it was advanced. Family secrets later turned out she had an hiv infected cousin as a child, and they had shared many things..... Including nail items. Tested her cousin for her strain and found out it was her copy that gave it to her. She was a virginwho was a Christian so off the bat she knew her then boyfriend didn't give it to her.
