This all-metal adapter allows the user to fit most aftermarket 5.75" LED headlights in their stock bezel and housing. Best adapter on the market! I bought the J.W. Speaker Headlights for my girlfriend's Yamaha XSR 700. With this Adapter it was easy to mount the headlight in the lamp housing with high quality.
Everything was included, even screw adhesive.
We are super happy to have found a very good solution with them.
I purchased this adapter and it worked very well. It’s currently installed on my Vstar! Excellent product! Should come standard with aftermarket LED 5.75 inch lights.

Received mine in the post yesterday and watching this video found it dead easy to assemble and install. Very well engineered components and it all went together without a hitch. Cant wait to get the Stryker out on the road at night to try it out.

The directions were non existent for the model I purchased. It worked. I had to look up multiple videos and just tinker a bit. I made it work. I ended up with a couple extra bolts and washer. Everything seems to work though so all in all I give it a thumbs up.

This adapter is similar to the Vstar 650/1100 custom adapter but for the Yamaha Stryker, Raider, Bolt, Warrior and some Kawasaki models. All adapters come with a QR code install manual in the box to help conserve on paper usage. All manuals can also be downloaded off our website.

The parts used in the video do not match the parts in my kit. The “adjustment piece” is different and my kit did not come with an “adjustment wedge”. I was able to figure out for myself how to assemble what was different/not included. This video was were the QR code (in lue of actual instructions) brought me, so I would have expected the product to match the video, especially since there were no paper instructions included. The work moving out of camera frame on occasion was annoying also when you are trying to see details of the assembly, should have done a second take for customer clarity.
Thank you for your feedback. This product has gone through a couple redesigns but for the most part still covers the main concepts. As stated on the QR slip the instruction manual will always be the most up to date.
But since you don’t include that, those of us without printers have to read it off a phone or our home monitor. I would have appreciated the up to date printed instructions being included. Considering the minimal expense for that and the video being out dated, it would have saved hassle.
Love the design and the R&D that went into this.
Any idea if it’ll work with a eagle lights slim line (same as a moons mc fly eye) and a Yamaha bolt stock bucket? I’m thinking it will.

I order this adapter kit for my Raider. But the adjustment piece that came with my adapter kit doesn't look anything like the adjustment piece this video is displaying to use. And my kit didn't come with a lock wedge.

This adapter is for a 5.75in LED headlight and will not fit in your Vstar classic motorcycle.
I believe your current setup will accept an aftermarket LED headlight without an adapter. Please confirm.

Hi Julio, we run a Wisamic led in ours but have heard good reviews from other riders for alot of other brands. Make sure to look for the power output in watts (W) around 50 to 80 range. This will give good output. If you want a high end light JW Speaker will fit and makes a high quality light.

We have not tested this motorcycle with our adapter so we cannot be 100% certain it will fit.
Just installed it on my xsr900. There is a small gap between the bucket and the headlight. I understand that it is for cooling purpose. But is it safe to ride in the rain? I m afraid the water can mess with the electrical wires.
All headlight products and wiring are water tight and should not cause any issues.

The sunpie lamp does not fit onto the brackets of my stock lamp housing which clips into the stock bucket😡😢

The cowl/windshield came with that motorcycle but I believe they are sold by a few different suppliers. Try searching Revzilla, Babbits oem parts, or low and mean. I think they come un painted.

@@nextlvlinnovation Hi guys, thanks for the info. This is my first bike, so pleaee excuse my lack of knowledge, but if the stock headlight is a 5.75 can't we simple swap it in? Or is it because the HID headlamps arent built the same as the stock, hence the need of the bracket?
@@Joey.Darkwoods-Studio Thats a valid question. The halogen headlights are custom setups and use their own special bracket. The aftermarket LED headlights are based on a different standard and are used heavily in Harley motorcycles.

When upgrading to an LED light you do not need side adjustment since the light dispersion is equally split from left to right. Halogen lights need the horizontal adjustment since they produce an angled light on the left side that can interfere with traffic. Most adapters on the market today dont offer horizontal or vertical adjustment.

Way too much gap. I will create my own without the gap.
Hello,
The gap is needed for the vertical adjustment as well as for airflow for the LED. The gap can barely be seen once installed since the bucket is dark in color and blends with the bezel.
