I wish I would've found out about this instructions video prior to installing this. I figured, how hard can it be? Didn't see the 2 screws you included until after I was done, managed to strip a phillips bolt, and what took you 5 mins, took me an hour. Mostly because of that darn bolt. But end result was fortunately the same. 😂
For models with a parking lamp, unplug that and tuck the connection in with the other wiring in the housing. If you want the parking lamp function (uncommon), you can wire the the positive lead to the trimmed red wire on the back of the headlight.
Looks great! I have the 2020 XSR900 and I’m going to buy one of these. Does this work with the original headlight side brackets or do you need to order one of those as well? Thanks!
Hi there. I'm trying to replace the retaining ring, i took a fall and it got bended. I took the headlight out, but the nuts screws are stuck, i believe they have some kind of paste to keep them in place. Do you have an advice?
The factory screws are very difficult to remove from the side mounts (opposite of what we removed in our installation) because Yamaha uses a high-strength thread locker. The only way to "loosen" thread lock is with heat. Heatgun, soldering iron on the head the heat the bolt up may do the trick.
if I throw an LED headlight on my Bonneville will I have to alter any of the relay's or resistors to adapt to LED? when I changed my turn signals, even though they weren't LED, I had to modify a bunch of wiring so they wouldn't both blink at the same time.
Alexander V our drop-in options for any generation Bonneville do not require any other alterations or resistors. In your turn signal install you could have simply change the flasher relay to a digital one in order to avoid using resistors. Head to motodemic.com, we’ve got all of this info listed for your model 👍
The light used in this upgrade is a 5.75 with an adapter to fir the non-standard size Yamaha uses. Our Evo S model has the same output as the 7-inch version.
Unfortunately, it will not. Though it does work on the 2002+ Road Star Models so maybe you could do a headlight swap. Feel free to contact us, we may be able to help you sort something out.
Totally, made it challenging to develop a simple upgrade. They have 2 springs that are used over the adjustment screws for left to right, and up and down adjustments since the housing is fixed.
Gary Stanley we don’t reuse the side to side adjustment, the vertical adjustment is retained. The side to side is not necessary due the light having an extremely wide pattern and how the light is mounted.
The screws can be a pain, that is why we include a high quality screwdriver. Just to make sure, you are only removing the top and bottom scres as shown at 1:20. The side screws have red threadlocker and are very hard to remove. Since the top and bottom screws are not reused, you can technically drill them out and us the supplied screws with the upgrade.
As a customer of the adaptive LED headlight kit for my XSR900 back in 2017 I can say these guys produce quality gear. Cheers from Czech Republic.
This will be my next purchase. Completely transform the look. Cheers for the information.
This looks like the best quality LED headlight replacement on the market.

So nice! Can I find this headlight in Europe/Sweden? And what kind of gold forks is that? I have silver on mine XSR 700 from 2018.
How many inches is the headlight? Thank you
Do you guys sell the adapter that goes to the new headlight by itself?
This is 5.75 inch headlight the same like the OEM one right?
The stock light unit is a non-standard 6-inch. We are adapting a 5.75-inch light unit into the stock location here.
@@motodemic Oh, cause Im ordering a 5.75-inch headlight and I wonder if it totally fits the outside frame or not.
I have two bulbs in my oem headlight so how does this connect ???

Any clue if this would be street legal in Germany? And are all the tools necessary included in the package? looks amazing and I‘d love to have one
Absolutely legal in Germany. Our LED Upgrades are fully ECE compliant.
De cuantas pulgadas tiene q ser el led para q entre en el de origen

The Upgrade works with the stock headlight brackets 👍

Hello👋🏼 Could you do a montage on honda msx 125 sf one day?
Clean & simple, thanks for the video.
Hi, just an adaptive 2 from you. How can I connect the parking light? Red cable, to make it work?
Correct, connecting the red wire will illuminate the parking light.
Hi, any sale point in Germany or Turkey? ordering this from the USA will cost me a lot :(
We have a dealer in Germany, Customlite.
I have a xjr 1300 2016 and wanted a led headlight but I don’t want to change the housing which is smaller than the 7 inch.
This upgrade works on the XJR. Follow the link in the description and select the "Yamaha Cruiser" product. That page lists all other fitments.
Is it brighter than stock and is the light focused pretty well?
Scott Rink night and day brightness wise and an awesome beam pattern in both low and high. See the product page for photos - bit.ly/yamupgrd
Might adjust the angle towards the road too. Oncoming traffic will thank you for that
Toby vertical adjustment shouldn’t be necessary but some fine tuning is always ok. The vertical adjuster is untouched during the install.

Why do I want to do it? It is brand-new motorcycle that’s what I want that’s what I buy why do I have to remove and replace everything
It's work in Yamaha Enticer Bike?
Whats the headlight size? 5.75 inch or 7 inch?
The light used in this upgrade is a 5.75 with an adapter to fir the non-standard size Yamaha uses. Our Evo S model has the same output as the 7-inch version.
Is this a 7inch headlight?
No, 5 3/4 👍
Would this fit on a vstar 950 ?
Yes! Follow the link in the description and select "Yamaha Cruiser".
Do you have an official distributer here in UK? I would like to order one.
SOU we do not have a stocking dealer in the UK or Europe. We do ship worldwide every day 👍
Is this headlight the EVO S?
At 0:30, Evo S on the left, Adaptive on the right 👍
Wow that was easy! And looks amazing 😉
Any samples at night?
Check out the product page linked in the description.
What brand is the LED DROP in unit?
JW Speaker
We use JW Speaker LED units and they make our Evo S unit. We make the adapter ring in-house.
Hi bro is it available in Andhra Pradesh India the same lamp kit
Yes, we ship worldwide!
What tires do you use in your xsr 900?
Pirelli Diablo SuperCorsa
Do you have one that will fit a 1999 Yamaha Roadstar Silverado
Unfortunately, it will not. Though it does work on the 2002+ Road Star Models so maybe you could do a headlight swap. Feel free to contact us, we may be able to help you sort something out.
a complicated headlight. y have springs in them?🤔
Totally, made it challenging to develop a simple upgrade. They have 2 springs that are used over the adjustment screws for left to right, and up and down adjustments since the housing is fixed.
do you think it will fit on a duke 390?
This would not. Though we offer headlight brackets and complete headlights if you wanted to do a swap.
are you nuts? it doesn't even apply
speedometer panel instalation plzzz!!
?? Not sure what you mean?
Oh XSR 900.....hmmm 👌
Is gonna fit xsr700???
Yes 👍Follow the link in the description.
That looks good.
How much MRP ... Money
Follow the link in the description 👍
How many inches it measure?
The light is a 5.75-inch with the adapter allowing it to replace the stock 6-inch.
why don't you sell even the frame-ring togheter? It would be really faster to install and to come back to the original one if needs it
Well, considering that is an OEM part that comes at an OEM price and availability. The 5-10 minute install is worth it.
Beautiful
cant get into the link
Seems to be working on our end. motodemic.com -> Products -> Manufactuerer -> Yamaha
@@motodemic still nothing.. maybe blocked for my country?
@@SuperTalBar23 not sure man. Site is up and running just fine. Feel free to send us an email to hello@motodemic.com
Hey, does this headlight fulfill the European regulations? And does it work for the 2020 model? Really want to get myself one of these
Yes and yes. Check out all of the details here - bit.ly/yamupgrd
Abuser le prix 😂
Why is it not necessary to replace adjustment screw?
Gary Stanley we don’t reuse the side to side adjustment, the vertical adjustment is retained. The side to side is not necessary due the light having an extremely wide pattern and how the light is mounted.
Super looking
❤️❤️❤️🙏
Well, I started and the screws in the headlight were SO tight, I just ended stripping them out and installing the old headlight. This SUCKS ASS.
