pretty cool DIY vid! i recently got into cycling(not sure if taboo word to moto riders) and learned how to adjust deraileurs! can't wait for the next ep!
Bro! You want through all the trouble of replacing the headlight bucket, and then you installed a halogen bulb instead of the J.W. Speaker adaptive LED. WHY!? I've never been disappointed by Tri333ple before.
Haha, I prefer the halogen look for classic bikes, think an LED doesn’t look good. This is also the halogen replacement, and due to legal limitations this is also what’s required.
@@tri333ple well I I'm glad you like it, and I hope you can see well enough at night. I've ridden with that active led, and there is nothing like it. Over here prime seem to do whatever they want with non-DOT headlights, and nobody cares. It's hard to ride at night because everyone else blinds you.
The bike looks more in balance with the bigger headlight. The smaller headlight on the XSR always looked kind of "wrong" Now it looks like the R nine T for example with it's bigger headlight and golden front forks!
Yeah I could do that, but then the headlight wouldn’t be aligned to the centre of the tank, it will sit slightly higher than the centre line which would annoy me even more 😂 -Jake
congrats, every Screw It episode you've nailed every 4mm hex bolts on first sight.🎉🎉🤣 side tip, the spray paint, turn it upside down n press a while to clear e nozzle fr future use so it doesn't clog.
Hi buddy, the mirrors in this video don’t clamp on properly and I’m still finding a solution. If you want similar mirrors you can look at supermoto style mirrors on Shopee! -Jake
i was expecting those angel halo DRL haha, but that one definitely need to install back the stock one during inspection. This one just hope the inspector don't notice can liao 🤭
Haha I think that kind of headlight don’t really suit this bike. For legal usage in Singapore you can go through a few processes from LTA and the headlight needs to be ECE certified. Thanks for watching buddy! -Jake
A one to one replacement is legal. Changing to aftermarket ones like in this video requires quite a few processes with LTA to make it legal, similar to aftermarket exhausts. Best is to check with the authorities depending on your bike!
This series is darn nice and wholesome
Thanks for watching buddy we appreciate it!
You nailed it, the entire front end lighting looks so much better now 😃👍!
I know right? Thanks for watching buddy!

time to start adjusting your motorcycle brakes haha

Exactly, great minds think alike haha.
Good job! Can't you slide the headlight bracket up on the forks a bit to close the gap above the headlight bucket?

reminds me of my old rd350 without the lion head cowling many many moons ago.🤔
Great series bro. Kinda makes me wanna try working on my own bike.

While watching this video. My whole family is saying why does this dude sounds like property lim brothers melvin lim😂

You should do the tail tidy next and change mirrors to Motogagdet!
Jake brave hands on!!🫡
Hi Jake, can you please tell where you got the mirrors from? I want to install them on my cb300r.

Is changing out the stock headlamps on bikes LTA legal?

How long did this whole process take? the last time i tried something like that took me a good 6-8 hours lol
Haha normally it takes longer for me for these videos cause shooting video makes the process longer, this was a 6 hour shoot in total. -Jake
