Second correction about CTTR. There is a reason the stages look like that. The game was built around the merge mechanic. That being, they wanted to make it so that players could always be gunning each other down the entire race. That's why the tracks are so plain, so that you will have an easier time aiming at your opponents, and also have more track where you are able to see your opponent. You'll see this in some of the tracks where you're going through a spiral or something, that as a gunner, you basically aren't doing anything that entire time, if the tracks were built like that in mario kart, especially if it had branching paths all over, then you would have very little time to shoot your opponent. Not to mention that what's happening outside the track often matters. It's sad because this is kind of high level play, but the props that make everything look theme parky are actually super useful for filling up your turbo boost, as breaking one instantly gives you 50. Usually you do this with the turret, but it is also possible to hit some of the with the chicken.

So about the ChocoboGP thing, all I was thinking about it was "this is just a more convoluted Lego Racer system", one of the OG Mario Kart Clones. For those who don't know, you have 5 types of brick to pick up, 4 different coloured effect ones, and the white brick. The colour bricks correspond to what they do (Red for attacks, blue shields, yellow does drops, and green is boost). The white ones you can pickup, boost those that 4 and you can pick one of the colours up freely, to change out which one you have (say you have blue, but want a different one, just pick the colour). Super simple and a child can and did understand it. And understand that maxed out greens broke the game's balance. But this also helped with track design. You could go out of your way for a busted green or three whites on a longer section of track. Or expend a pick up to open a short cut. Some short cuts may even HAVE useful bricks like greens or whites. And when picking up a new colour while holding one, you could deny someone behind you that brick. Wanted that red brick to attack? Nah, have this shield and seethe. Will say to play the PC version, as the building wasn't the greatest on Console, plus you need all power you can get graphically. Play Lego Racers! (There is Lego Racers 2, but is much more of it's era ironically, and Lego 2k Drive, which is made of sadness and microtransactions despite the graphics and build mode)
Kirby Air Ride City Trial is my childhood too! I absolutely loved playing it with my friends alongside Smash Bros Melee and Double Dash, I miss my gamecube now.
For the trivia segment in Chocobo GP, let's see... 1) I'll try listing each of the magicite spells I remember; Fire, which behaves like a Green Shell that breaks upon hitting anything at Lv. 1, behaves like a Red Shell at Lv. 2, and Lv. 3 turns it into a Blue Shell nuke. Thunder electrifies someone for a moment, before spinning them out, and chains the damage to more nearby racers with each level. Aero creates a twister that flies along the track (or stays relatively in place when dropped behind), getting bigger and stronger. Water behaves like your banana peel, again getting bigger and stronger with wiping you out (Although the Lv. 3 version has a somewhat short lifespan). Barrier only blocks a single spell at a time, and has a longer lifespan with each Lv. (and developing an auto-use without needing to put it up against spells at Lv. 3). Haste is your Mushroom, giving better boosts the stronger it is. Doom puts a timer on the next racer in front, to which they have to mash out of getting wiped out (each level makes it harder to mash, and spreads the Doom to nearby racers). Quake is your Super Horn. Bahamut is your Bullet Bill, getting bigger and lasting longer for each level. Then there's the annoying warp portal one that allows the back portal to warp to the front... And the front one to warp to the back. Lost many a race from those. And Blizzard makes ice shards that follow the track, freezing anyone they hit (but doesn't stop you), and preventing their Ultimate from filling, prevents Drifting while frozen, and slows you down, but doesn't spin you out when hit. You also can't use your own Magicite while frozen. 2) Silver Magicite Egg gives you a copy of your frontmost Magicite (in case you have two different types). If you don't have any magicite, it's functionally a Bronze egg. 3) Grab two more silvers for a full Lv. 3. Or you can test your luck with a Gold Egg. 4) Ultima, you need to keep grabbing Magicite while you have a full stock and hope you get it. However, each racer can only use it once per race. It nukes EVERYONE that isn't protected with a Barrier or their Ultimate.
You just won my heart by talking about Crash Tag Team racing. I had it for the PSP, which had additional battle arenas, but otherwise kept everything about the game the same, so having this gem on the go was an incredible experience.
Sonic Robo Blast 2 Kart. It's a mod of a mod of Doom so it can basically run on any machine. Gameplay is like if CTR and Mario Kart had a baby imo, but the real fun comes in with the mods. The absolute plethora of content at your fingertips from modded characters to custom maps to entirely new gamemodes is unreal. The game doesn't have singleplayer outside of a time attack mode, but you can just hop onto the online server browser and join a random server too and it'll download all the needed mods for you.
@@gaymerherb I had a whole diatribe prepared to rip into RRR but I'll just leave it a this for a video like this it would not get a glowing review for a multitude of reasons.
@@JBoehmGames it's not bad at all, it definitely has rage game traits tho if ur not into that stuff but it's pretty damn polished mechanically and visually for a free game.
@@ZanteBlitz The most painful thing is that I WANT to like RRR really badly. It oozes passion, but right now in its current state without many mods, I'm probably not going to touch it, and just wait for more characters as well as mods to patch out or tone down some of the obnoxious stuff like the position start, hitstop, slope physics, etc. I wouldn't go so far as to call it polished though, given how many changes they needed to roll out in the first week of release. I also think the game's biggest problem during development was that they had a very small team of testers who were all seasoned technical pros at the original Kart, and there was no consideration for the casual pick-up-and-play crowd that the original SRB2K drew in.
When I saw this vid I had to do a double take and make sure it wasn't a reupload. Tho all in all good video skooch! Also quiz 1: No clue 2: Silver eggs give the same magicite as you already have 3: After a bronze get 2 Silver eggs 4: By picking up 1 bronze & 2 silvers or 1 gold and 1 silver.
Sonic & Sega All-Star Racing and its sequel, Transformed, are the best Mario Kart clones I ever played. I was actually astonished at just how much time my friends and I spent playing them. Definitely the highest number of hours spent on a racing game that wasn't a Mario Kart.
1: 11 2: gives a duplicate of a magicite you already have 3: 2 silver eggs 4: collect 3 identical power ups for the tier 3 Got all but number 4 right, not too bad, but that is too much to remember for more than like a minute
13:55 Q1. 11 (not exactly sure if it's this number or 12, but I'm more confident in 11) Q2. Makes a copy of a Magicite you've already collected Q3. Two silver eggs; bronze and gold eggs both give random Magicites Q4. Get an item while having tier 3 Magicite (can only be used once per race, so afterwards there is no way to charge it) I paid attention 👍 Edit: Wow I was right on the money. Didn't expect that
Don't know if it counts as a MK clone, but Modnation Racers for the PS3 was AMAZING! You could make your own custom creations (racers, karts, amd tracks) and go online and download other people's creations. The racing was balanced very fairly and they didn't neglect the single-player mode. I shed a tear when they took this masterpiece offline...
I LOVED rolling thunder in crash team racing. My cousin and I would take turns breaking each other’s records in it for hours. The farts in the loading screen also annoyed the helm out of my parents so bonus points for that 😂
I feel kindred to your love of the chaos of city trial, i think its similar to my love of randomizers. As someone who isn't especially good at most games and prefers to just have fun, i love when there's more chaos or random chance because it makes it feel less skill based and more about just having fun.
You know what I'm actually gonna do Skooch's engagement farming quiz. There are 11 Magicite (there may be 13, I'm bad at remembering numbers), the Silver egg gives you a copy of a Magicite you have, if you collect a Bronze egg you'd need two Silvers to get a tier 3 Magicite, and your charge _Ultima_ (not your _ultimate_ but the magicite Ultima) by getting three copies of any Magicite. I get why Skooch felt it was confusing but I'm not joking or bragging, I did "get it" as he was speaking it out. Really all you need to know is "go for a gold, then find a silver, and if you can't, roll bronze until you get one you like and then try to get a few silvers". It's basically just "get an egg and then find a silver or two". It seems a _little_ convoluted and you could surely streamline that, but I get what they're going for.
Another Underrated „Mario Kart Clone“ that Released in 2010 for PS3: ModNation Racers. Its a Kart Racer that was highly inspired by LittleBigPlanet. You could make your own Mods (thats the Name of the Characters in Game), Karts and even Tracks. It also has a Actually quite entertaining Story Mode where you play as a Graffiti Artist named Tag. The Game mostly Lived only by its Online Content (you could Share your selfmade Stuff and also download Stuff made by others, and there were the Classic Time Trials and also Online Races) wich you notice if playing today cuz the Servers have Been shutdown in 2016 because United Front Games (the Studio behind it) closed its doors. But you CAN PLAY IT ONLINE (atleast kinda) because People in the Community are trying to revive the Servers and the Share Thing is already up and The other Stuff Could come in the near future. ModNation also had a PSP Port and a Spinoff on PS Vita named ModNation Racers: Roadtrip (but I do recommend the PS3 Version of ModNation Racers mostly). Man I really hope for a Sequel, Remake or Remastered in the Future although thats unlikely tbh. Its my favorite Racing Game of all Time and also one of my fav Games in general.
13:53 1. I think it's 12? 2. Doubles the first egg you collected 3. 1 Gold or 2 Silver Eggs 4. Are you talking about the Ultima or the Ultimate attack? Because I don't know how to charge either one even after accidentally rewinding once.
-12 -Duplicate the first item -two blue eggs -three of the same magicite plus another egg Edit: Damn I was close on the first one, and idk why my brain registered silver eggs as blue eggs instead.
1) There are 12 magicite in total 2) The silver egg creates one copy of a magicite that you already hold 3) You should collect 2 silver eggs to get a tier 3 4) You charge your Ultima by having a tier 3 magicite and collecting another egg, and it can only be done once per game
All of that, but sub in 11 magicite. Imagine keeping track of all of that while also trying the drive and getting hit with a sword. Sounds like a mess.
Great video Skooch! My Mario Kart clone of choice is Mod Nation Racing, cause that is what the GameStop worker gave me when I asked for Mario Kart for the PlayStation. The campaign and voice work is incredible and customizing the racers, karts, and maps was loads of fun.
The Chocobo GP ruled tho, it’s item system is simple enough to use in practice and it is pretty similiar to the brick powerup system in the Lego Racing games
Nick Toons Racing for PC was pretty good. Sony had a first party clone with cartoon animals, not based on any franchise, thst was really well made, but very boring.
1:11 different spells 2: Upgrades your current Magicite by one level 3: Collect two silver eggs 4: Keep collecting eggs on top of having a level 3 spell charged up. Gonna be honest, I've PLAYED Chocobo GP through all the battle passes they did, and I didn't know how you charged up to get Ultima X'D Might have to dust it off at some point and try that out.
Top tip if you find yourself being the Board Game Friend: learn and buy some simple games like Zombie Dice, which takes 20 seconds to explain and any number of players can join in. Leave the big box games for a dedicated board game night (and also start with a light game or two so you’re not just dropping people into it straight away).
1. There are 11 types of magicite 2. The Silver Egg creates a duplicate if the magicite you received previously 3. You need to collect two more Silver Eggs to get a tier 3 magicite if you got a Bronze Egg first 4. To charge your ultima you need to have filled your item slots and then collect another item I THINK I got that right but you were NOT kidding when you said this system is complicated 😂
13:55 1. 12 2. Gives you the ability type that you already hold again 3. Two silver eggs 4. Get a final megicite after already holding three (only works once)
Actually the weapon system for that Chocobo Racing GP feels like a more complicated version of the one used in ModNation Racers, a cart game I would definitely recommend.
1. There are 11 2. The silver egg copies a magicite you currently have in you inventory. 3. The combo the get a tier 3 magicite after collecting a bronze egg is to collect 2 silver eggs to upgrade the ability. 4. To charge your ultima you collect 1 bronze and 3 silver eggs or 1 gold and 2 silver eggs. There you go, all four answers to all four questions with no rewinding used.
So a correction about the drifting in CTTR. You just need more practice. Once you get the hang of it, you'll realize that drifting is one of the best things in this game. You actually drive faster drifting on a straightaway than you do just driving normally, and you obviously drive faster around turns like this. Also drifting charges up your turbo boost meter which you either need to merge and defeat enemies or destroy props to accomplish this, or you need to find turbo boost meter points in item boxes.
How many types of magicite are there?: 11 What does the silver egg do?: It gives you a copy of a magicite you already have... If you collected one bronze egg what else should you collect to get a tier 3 magicite?: 2 silvers How do you charge your ultima?: Uhh...? You know, even if you do have all this down, remembering it and doing it while under pressure is another story...
-11 -Gives you a copy of a magicite you already own -2 silver eggs -After getting 3 magicites of the same kind (either by going golden -> silver or bronze -> double silver), continue collecting eggs to charge up to ultima if that was too much/is too confusing, sounds like a skill issue to me (great vid skooch
Great video, Kirby’s Air Ride And Megaman Battle & Chase seem really fun to play although I haven’t played these 2 games yet. Anyways I’ll go and continue celebrating Yuri Sheng Long’s 32ND Anniversary.
It definitely is, though it's like the only skill based kart racer so I can't imagine it appeals to everyone but the driving is more satisfying than any racer that has ever been made but this video doesn't talk about CTR.
@vitorroberto4790 As a huge fan of Mario Kart and all of its games which I grew up on. CTR is in a league of its own providing you give the game the time to learn it. My current time with CTR NFueled is actually one of my highest played games clocking at 350 hours.
Bruh ill never get tired of listening to you sing the praises of Kirby Air Ride. My friend and I were much like you and your friend David, and being the David in the situation, even when my homie wasnt around I was still playing city trial
Had a cousin out in the country in the midwest. He had a copy of Diddy Kong Racing and WE PLAYED THAT TO DEATH when I would come visiting with my mom. Ugh great times, I ended up moving to a small town, not having many friends or things to do but those few copies of games I had were essentially gold.
I just unlocked the Parade Kart in Double Dash, and I've got to say, never have I ever felt so targeted by a group of CPs. 2nd place felt like the most hopeless spot you could be in due to the game only giving me a steady supply of Reds on Bower's Castle so they can just get launched at the Thwomps, and Blues only being shot once I dared to be in 1st.
It's not a full-on Mario Kart clone but more Mario Kart meets Twisted Metal, but Jak X is sick. You have different forward- and rear-facing weapons, a boost mechanic with pick-ups and slide and hang-time mechanics that net you more boost, health, a dark eco system that rewards you for killing opponents and staying alive, a great story mode that's basically a mission mode that rewards you with money you can use to upgrade your vehicles and unlock tracks, the most fun battle mode I've ever played, and physics that are difficult to master but SO much fun when you do. The only real downside is it is a lot to keep track of and has a pretty high learning curve (but, conversely, it also rewards higher-level play unlike Mario Kart, where you just pick the heavy character of your choosing and you'll most likely win) and, because there are 4 different in-universe areas you're traveling between that house multiple tracks, the visual variety and track memorability aren't super high unless you REALLY pay attention to detail. It's still a super underrated game that doesn't get enough attention and could have a serious competitive scene if people actually tried it.
Nintendo, please remake or port over Kirby Air Ride to the Nintendo Switch or the Switch 2 (or whatever it is called!! I really want to experience the fun of City Trial as it seems so fun.
Was pretty happy when you mentioned the megaman one. Brought back some memories. I swear i found it on sale at a video ezy in Melbourne and picked it up for cheap. great little game.
I don’t know if it quite counts as a Mario Kart clone, but it is a mascot racer chasing the times trying to be cool when it came out… Sonic Riders! Kirby Airride and Sonic Riders were are some of my favorite games from my childhood, and both of them have control schemes that feel awful to learn and wield at first. But once Sonic Riders clicks? It’s a fantastic feeling racing game! To this day I still keep coming back and playing it every once in awhile!
1: there's 11 types of magicite 2: The silver egg gives you the same copy of a magicite 3: you should collect either 2 silver magicite or 1 gold magicite 4: you charge your ultima by grabbing another egg once you reach tier 3 I used to play this game but i stopped due to season passes and stuff
Kirby Air Ride's City Trial is like that ONE mode from Super Smash Bros 4 (the 3DS or WiiU) where you collect powerups like jump, speed, attack and such and in the end you have a random event, like climbing up a tower, running or fighting! ^^
Great video, I'm loving this style of content. I was just expecting you were talking about Sonic versions of Mario Kart since you sneak peaked in the intro, but maybe on a future video.
This is actually episode two! I talked about those early games in the first episode. Sega all stars racing transformed is one of my favorite games ever!
I have to bring up Sonic Riders. I never had access to a PC that would run my second-hand copy of the first one until long after I misplaced it, and I know next to nothing about the third one, but the second - Zero Gravity - on PS2 is one of the games that helped get me through the later (albeit less shitty) part of my school years. Now, I'll be the first to admit my perception of quality in a game can be pretty skewed. I started out gaming like around 10-ish with kinda the low end of games from around when I was born or earlier so I tend to have a high tolerance for clumsy controls and level design. But that being said, I honestly believe that Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity has never relied on that tolerance. It's just... Fun. On a holiday a few years back I started a new save and 100%ed the story and challenge levels in one night, and I can honestly say I haven't had many gaming experiences since that were more fun than that. It's just... Solid. The item pickups are fun, the driving is satisfying, the tracks are just the right balance of technical and casual, and the music absolutely kicks ass and I will die on that hill.
My favorite racing game still has to be Crash Nitro Kart. Also it was the game to bring the anti gravity wheels to racing. It also has a really fun story mode.
YEEEEEEESSSSSSSS City Trials deserves every mention, every second of screen time it is so FUCKING GOOD I'd be playing that shit for hours oh my god. And you could discover and unlock stuff in single player mode so I'd also spend hours just going everywhere in it trying to get achievements and unlock things. Skooch, my dood. You gotta try out Sonic Riders and Zero Gravity (Ignore Free Riders for the love of god). These are genuinely some of my favourite party racing games of my childhood, but while people saw Mario Kart as RNG good fun, I saw Sonic Riders as a very skill-based and Knowledge-based racer that genuinely was a lot of fun having buds and all of us constantly competing against eachother. I highly recommend it!
to answer the questions at 13:56 (legit didn't rewind was just playing kirby and listening to this) 1. there are 11 types of magicite 2. the silver eggs give you an existing magicite you already have 3. to get a tier three you need to collect 2 silver eggs, not a gold. 4. to get your ultima, you get a their 3 magicite then collect an egg.
As much as I loved Crash Team Racing, Looney Tunes Racing (has lovely classical music in the background!), and the Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity (was fun, but as a kid, I had no fucking clue what I was doing), the one game I specifically remember from my childhood was the Crazy Frog Racer game for Microsoft Windows. Also, I'd suggest maybe checking out alternate sports games and whatnot. Like Nicktoons Basketball, which was a BLAST, and whatnot.
Algorythm here I come! Test answers 11 Gives you another copy of a magicite you already have ("upgrades it") You should collect two more silver eggs After you've gotten a tier 3 magicite (through 1 gold + 1 silver or 1 bronze + 2 silver or RNG God) you collect a fourth egg off any kind I hope I nailed the test!
Man, City Trial sounds very, _very_ similar Smash Run from Smash 3ds. Which also happens to be my favorite extra game mode of all time! I could do a whole freaking essay on that, and I'd actually have fun, unlike a regular essay...

Ring Racers is also incredible
@@gaymerherb I had a whole diatribe prepared to rip into RRR but I'll just leave it a this
for a video like this it would not get a glowing review for a multitude of reasons.
I'll happily take my Skooch video upload at 3AM, thank you.

1: No clue
2: Silver eggs give the same magicite as you already have
3: After a bronze get 2 Silver eggs
4: By picking up 1 bronze & 2 silvers or 1 gold and 1 silver.
Sonic & Sega All-Star Racing and its sequel, Transformed, are the best Mario Kart clones I ever played. I was actually astonished at just how much time my friends and I spent playing them. Definitely the highest number of hours spent on a racing game that wasn't a Mario Kart.
1: 11
2: gives a duplicate of a magicite you already have
3: 2 silver eggs
4: collect 3 identical power ups for the tier 3
Got all but number 4 right, not too bad, but that is too much to remember for more than like a minute
I got only Nr. 1. Wrong and said 12. I mistake it with the max rating for the game.

Q1. 11 (not exactly sure if it's this number or 12, but I'm more confident in 11)
Q2. Makes a copy of a Magicite you've already collected
Q3. Two silver eggs; bronze and gold eggs both give random Magicites
Q4. Get an item while having tier 3 Magicite (can only be used once per race, so afterwards there is no way to charge it)
I paid attention 👍
Edit: Wow I was right on the money.
Honestly if Capcom came out after like 10 years of no new Megaman games by releasing a sequel to Megaman Battle & Chase that’d be hype as fuck
It is really sad that the Chocobo Racer GP ended up as it did as i have very fond memories of the original on the ps1.
Yes! A serious video on April 1st! I needed this, man. Thanks.
I took the "board game friend" metaphor so personally that I forgot you were talking about the greedy chocobo-driving game
13:53
1. I think it's 12?
2. Doubles the first egg you collected
3. 1 Gold or 2 Silver Eggs
4. Are you talking about the Ultima or the Ultimate attack? Because I don't know how to charge either one even after accidentally rewinding once.
-12
-Duplicate the first item
-two blue eggs
-three of the same magicite plus another egg
Edit: Damn I was close on the first one, and idk why my brain registered silver eggs as blue eggs instead.
1) There are 12 magicite in total
2) The silver egg creates one copy of a magicite that you already hold
3) You should collect 2 silver eggs to get a tier 3
4) You charge your Ultima by having a tier 3 magicite and collecting another egg, and it can only be done once per game
SO CLOSE!
Really went from using his face to reusing the funny Mario expression again
this is defo one of my fav video of yours, I organized a game night with friends this weekend just so we can play kirby air ride lmfao
Nick Toons Racing for PC was pretty good. Sony had a first party clone with cartoon animals, not based on any franchise, thst was really well made, but very boring.
1 eleven
2 the silver egg doubles a past item or one you have
3 the silver egg
4 you get a past three copies of the same magicites
1:11 different spells
2: Upgrades your current Magicite by one level
3: Collect two silver eggs
4: Keep collecting eggs on top of having a level 3 spell charged up.
Gonna be honest, I've PLAYED Chocobo GP through all the battle passes they did, and I didn't know how you charged up to get Ultima X'D Might have to dust it off at some point and try that out.
As a Kirby enjoyer. I am glad you loved city trial as much as me.and my brothers!
1. There are 11 types of magicite
2. The Silver Egg creates a duplicate if the magicite you received previously
3. You need to collect two more Silver Eggs to get a tier 3 magicite if you got a Bronze Egg first
4. To charge your ultima you need to have filled your item slots and then collect another item
I THINK I got that right but you were NOT kidding when you said this system is complicated 😂
13:55
1. 12
2. Gives you the ability type that you already hold again
3. Two silver eggs
4. Get a final megicite after already holding three (only works once)
Actually the weapon system for that Chocobo Racing GP feels like a more complicated version of the one used in ModNation Racers, a cart game I would definitely recommend.
1. There are 11
The original CTR is a banger, so... play that too. Probably my favorite kart racer
How many types of magicite are there?: 11
What does the silver egg do?: It gives you a copy of a magicite you already have...
If you collected one bronze egg what else should you collect to get a tier 3 magicite?: 2 silvers
How do you charge your ultima?: Uhh...?
You know, even if you do have all this down, remembering it and doing it while under pressure is another story...
-11
-Gives you a copy of a magicite you already own
-2 silver eggs
-After getting 3 magicites of the same kind (either by going golden -> silver or bronze -> double silver), continue collecting eggs to charge up to ultima
if that was too much/is too confusing, sounds like a skill issue to me
(great vid skooch

Great video, Kirby’s Air Ride And Megaman Battle & Chase seem really fun to play although I haven’t played these 2 games yet.
Anyways I’ll go and continue celebrating Yuri Sheng Long’s 32ND Anniversary.
Honestly, making a kart racer based on Final Fantasy convoluted is pretty in-character for the series, rpg fans love overthinking things.
Speaking of Chocobo Racing, funny how I had Chocobo Racing and Chocobo Dungeon as my fave games back then without ever touching a Final Fantasy game.
Im sorry but CTR is not a clone, it's an upgrade
Its not, but ok
It definitely is, though it's like the only skill based kart racer so I can't imagine it appeals to everyone but the driving is more satisfying than any racer that has ever been made but this video doesn't talk about CTR.

Great video! For the quiz:
1. Eleven.
2. Gives you a duplicate of a magicite you already have.
3. Two silver eggs.
4. I don't know.
It's great how he can be so disrespectful of the viewers, yet so watchable and lovable at the same time.
I can't remember if you talked about Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed in your last video but that is an amazing game
Mega Man Battle feels like if Mario Kart and F-Zero had a baby, which was then adopted by Capcom for a Megaman spin-off.
Nintendo, please remake or port over Kirby Air Ride to the Nintendo Switch or the Switch 2 (or whatever it is called!! I really want to experience the fun of City Trial as it seems so fun.
Nice to see someone talk about kirby air ride. I used to bug my older brother all the time to play it when I was a kid.

Kirby Air Ride's City Trial is like that ONE mode from Super Smash Bros 4 (the 3DS or WiiU) where you collect powerups like jump, speed, attack and such and in the end you have a random event, like climbing up a tower, running or fighting! ^^

That Air Rally song playing in the beginning, makes me happy as a Rhythm Heaven fan.
- 11
- Gives a duplicate of one of your current magicite
- 2 silver eggs
- Have a level 3 magicite 5hen collect any other egg
I played the shit out of City Trials as a kid, even against the CPU’s because it was just so fun flying around the map and collecting random crap.
Honestly, I got every Chocobo Racing GP question right, but only because you challenged us ahead of time. If that was a pop quiz, I'd be 100% f***ed
2) Silver Egg duplicates the current magicite you have
3) Collecting 1 bronze means you should collect 2 silvers for the tier 3
4) Charge ultima by getting a tier 3 magicite and then getting another egg
Skooch, my dood. You gotta try out Sonic Riders and Zero Gravity (Ignore Free Riders for the love of god). These are genuinely some of my favourite party racing games of my childhood, but while people saw Mario Kart as RNG good fun, I saw Sonic Riders as a very skill-based and Knowledge-based racer that genuinely was a lot of fun having buds and all of us constantly competing against eachother. I highly recommend it!

1. there are 11 types of magicite
2. the silver eggs give you an existing magicite you already have
3. to get a tier three you need to collect 2 silver eggs, not a gold.
4. to get your ultima, you get a their 3 magicite then collect an egg.
3, gives a copy, collect 2 silver, get 3 of the same item in your inventory. I think the PS1 game had a similar item system.

Gives you another copy of a magicite you already have ("upgrades it")
You should collect two more silver eggs
